[A/n] Anyways. A couple of days ago, a girl was bored (me) and listening to ‘The Messenger‘ by the tea party. It gave her inspiration to write this. She wrote it. She posted it on MM.org. The end. ^^ Enjoy!!

Slowly, InuYasha, Miroku and Kouga made their way onto the stage, the crowd cheering insanely.
InuYasha and Miroku both sat on a stool, while Kouga took his place behind his drums, just sitting there for now. Soon after, the stage darkened and only InuYasha was properly visible; only the silhouettes of Kouga and Miroku showing.
Then, InuYasha spoke. “This song is for someone very special to me; someone I love.” He paused and smiled to himself before saying in a soft voice, “Please listen closely, Kagome.”
Kagome’s eyes widened as she heard her name. ‘He was talking about me? Oh my god! He finally said he loved me!!’ She was dancing all around but stopped as the music started, listening.
He tuned the guitar a little bit and then started playing. About 12 seconds in, Miroku joined him in the guitar.
“Got a letter from the messenger.
I read it when it came.
It said that you wounded,
You were bound and chained.”
InuYasha’s voice flowed like water among the people, showing every bit of emotion he was feeling as he sang.
Miroku tapped his foot on the ground, keeping the beat for himself.
“You were loved and you were handled.
You were poisoned you were pained.
Oh no, Oh no,
You were naked, you were shamed.”
Kouga kicked in on the drums, a soft beat, the same as the song. InuYasha took a short breathing break and played a few strings before continuing.
“You could almost touch heaven,
Right there in front of you.
If the teacher slipped away on us
Then there’s so much work to do.”
InuYasha’s hair black hair fell into his face, framing it and hiding his left eye. He glanced out at the crowd as he sang, finally finding the girl this song was meant for.
Kagome locked eyes with InuYasha, as he sang, not able to tear them away.
“Oh the door that closes tightly,
Is a door that can’t swing wide.”
Miroku joined InuYasha in this part, leaning forward to his mic.
“Oh no, Oh no,
You’re expecting to collide.”
Once again, only InuYasha.
“For a many time,
Let my guard down.
Not afraid to be found out.
Completely forgotten,
What our fears were all about.
Oh no, Oh no,
There’s no need to be without.”
InuYasha finally broke the eye contact between him and Kagome by closing his eyes, pouring even more emotion into the song. He wanted this part to be perfect.
Kagome was smiling softly, listening intently to the words, her eyes misting.
“If there’s a chance,
I will take it.
This desire I can’t kill, no.
Take my heart, please don’t break it.
I will crawl to your foothill.”
Sess made his way onto the stage, standing in the back, adding an electric guitar into the slow mix of the song.
“I’m frightened but I’m coming.
Please baby, please lay still.
Oh no, Oh no,
I’m not coming for the kill.
Oh no, I’m not coming for the kill.
Oh no, I’m not coming for the kill.”
The song slowly faded as InuYasha opened his eyes once again. He looked around to see a bunch of people crying and lighters just going out. ‘ I need to pay more attention...’ he thought distantly as the crowd began to cheer again. “Thank you, G’night.” he said as he got up and the four boys left the stage.
As soon as he got backstage, a petite form crashed into him, nearly making him fall over. He looked down to see Kagome, clinging to his chest, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Kagome, what’s wrong?” he asked, lifting her head to look him in the eyes.
She didn’t answer, just said, “I love you, InuYasha.”
“I love you too, Kagome,” he said softly, smiling and leaning down, meeting her lips in a chaste kiss.

Yatta! I hope you liked it! I really like that song, have since I was little, but I’m not sure if I got all of the lyrics right. I did this just by listening to the song. So, if you are like, a big fan of them or something and know the lyrics, tell me please! Anyways. R&R, people!! I need to know if you liked it or not!!
