Chapter 1

"Kagome!" yelled Sango as she caught sight of her down the Hall.

"What now Sango?" asked a very annoyed Kagome. Her classes that afternoon weren't that much fun and she was so tired.

"Guess what's on Saturday Night!?!" Sango was jumping up and down as she shoved a piece of paper in Kagome's face.

`This Saturday Shikon school for boys will hold a mixer at their school. Shikon School for girls is invited to go!' Kagome read then grunted because she knew that Sango would make her go to this one because it will only be our two schools there.

"So…" Sango was getting very impatient with Kagome.

"So what?" Kagome was going to play dumb until Sango asked about her going.

"Are you gonna go?" Sango already knew the answer to the question. But, she was gonna make Kagome go no matter what she said.

"I…I don't know"

"Oh…Come on Kagome! You never go to the mixers! This time you have to. It will only be our school with the new boys' school! PLEASE!!!"

"I don't think so San-."

Just then Kikyo walked by and over heard there conversation and interrupted Kagome.

"Smart choice Kagome, you wouldn't have fun any way. What boy would want to dance with you while I'm there?" Kikyo started laughing.

Kikyo's friends laughed with her as they headed to their dorm rooms. Kagome clenched her fists and looked at Sango.

"I'll go." Once Kagome got those words out Sango grabbed her and headed to their dorm room.

"Why are we going to the dorm room now? The mixer isn't until tomorrow!"

"I have to get my money and my car keys! We're going shopping!"

Kagome sighed and tried to change Sango's mind but, when Sango has her mind on something NOTHING can stop her.

Once they signed out of the dorm they went to Sango's car and climbed in. Sango drove to the mall and they went into the clothing store to get some clothes for the mixer. After an hour of trying on clothes they finally picked their outfits.

Sango picked a black tank top and tight black hip hugger jeans. Kagome picked a short blue jean skirt and a light blue tank top. She was getting excited about the mixer, but didn't want Sango to know it. This would be her first mixer ever and she had no idea what to expect. She was usually a shy girl and barely ever left campus.

Mixer this Saturday All boys are welcome and are encouraged to go.

"Keh" A silver haired hanyou said.

"Are ya going Inu? Just think of all the hotties that will be there… hehehe… we could have a little fun." The lecherous monk said with a sick smile across his face and raised his eyebrows up and down.

"God Miroku, is that all you think about? You really need to get a life" Inuyasha said in a very annoyed tone.

"You know you think about it too." Miroku still had that smirk on his face. Inuyasha just rolled his eyes and headed back to the dorm.

"So are you going?" Miroku yelled trying to keep up with Inuyasha (The key word here is trying).

"Keh" Inuyasha said as he entered the dorm. `Should I go? Maybe it will be fun.' Inuyasha thought as he laid on his bed. `Yeah I think I will!'
