When they had all sat down, Miroku looked at the two lords and two female demons. He thought for a few
seconds, then a look of astonishment came across his face. "What is wrong monk?" "Uh, I just realized something I forgot." "What would that be Miroku?" "Um…Well…I remember that I read..." *Monk, don't tell them yet. They will find out when I feel like it, and not a moment sooner*

After a while they gave up on trying to get the information out of Miroku, who then, along with Sango, left to
return to the village after a teary send off. For some reason being in the building with most of the demonic population was WAY to awkward for the demon slayer and monk. (No REALLY!?)

"Are you sure that you want to leave? You know no one would attack someone who is like a sister in my home." "No, I think it would be best if I left with Miroku. I know that you will invite me back. I also have a feeling that if Miroku stayed, he would be killed for his wandering hands." The girls hugged, then with tears in their eyes, said goodby. Besides acting hurt by his love's statements, Miroku actually acted like a monk and simply waved good-bye. (Him Behaving! OMG!) They returned to the study to take their original places, discussing the demons that would be arriving by sunset tomorrow. "Who said I was going again?"
"Inuyasha, I will not allow you to leave. You still owe me. Besides, you might actually get to kick someone's ass."
"REALLY!"
"Yes now behave!" To prove a point Kagome told the story of the bitch she beat up at the last gathering. After that Inuyasha was a little happier at the idea of possibly kicking butt. He was pretty sure that he would be picked on because he was half demon. After saying good night they went to their own rooms. Rin and Shippou, who had been playing, begged to sleep in the same room. Soon they were all asleep. Or, were they?

Kiya was still haunted by her past, and couldn't sleep in the comfortable bed. She always felt the most comfortable in the garden, surrounded by nature. She didn't know why she hadn't left by now. She had planned to stay on the move after she escaped. Inuyasha was in a similar situation. He also felt the most comfortable in nature. He decided to make his presence known. "Feh, what's wrong bitch?" She turned to him and said, "What are you talking about and why would you care?" "I'm talking about that the other night while I was trying to unwind you were crying." "I was upset by the memories of my past." "Well… Kagome always talks to someone, but you don't seem like the type to talk with her or Natasha. I suppose I could talk with you if you want." She was a little wary, but she figured he just couldn't handle women crying or their emotions and wanted to solve the problem. How did she know true that was? Well… at least partly true. So, she told him of her past from her earliest memory to the moment she met him. She was exhausted and crying after opening those wounds. Inuyasha just sighed and picked up Kiya who was almost asleep on him, carrying her down the hall to her room. He placed her in her bed, and covered her. In her sleep Kiya reached up and rubbed his hears. Sighing, he went to bed himself, still unable to believe what had happened to her.

Three women were standing down the hall from Inuyasha's room. Two had a devious glint in their eyes while the third was slowly developing the glint. "Kagome and Kiya, what should we do? I Love to terrorize the Inu brothers." "Well… I'm not one to turn down a prank on Inuyasha!"
"Do you two always play pranks?" "No, Kiya, we are generally more behaved, but this is Inuyasha. Do you really think that we should pass up this opportunity?" "No, but… Should we really be messing with him?"

"Yes!"

"Let's go Kagome." They walked down the hall to find Inuyasha in his bed with one leg hanging off and the blankets
on the floor. It would have been cute, but these ladies were on a mission. They slowly creep up and shouted

"Inuyasha! The Northern Princess is in your bed"

The half-demon heard this and jumped up and clung to the ceiling like a cartoon cat. Then he saw that three lady demons were laughing at him a LOT. He just growled at them. Sesshomaru had woken up at their shouting and was not really surprised at the scene he walked into. "Brother, I would recommend sleeping with your eyes open, especially if Natasha is around." "Thanks, you could have told me LAST night!" Inuyasha jumps down and the girls are still laughing.

They walked out to prepare for the gathering, and change out of their sleeping attire. This was, of course, done with the snickering of females and the angry grumbling of half-demons. By the time everybody had bathed, ate, and dressed it was late afternoon. (No, Sesshy didn't join her you hentais. **Muse coughs.** Fine, I'm also one.)

Well, they were sitting in the study in their typical places except for Inuyasha, who was pouting in his room. Shippou and Rin had even joined them, as they were the future ruler of the south and current heir to Western lands. Lord Baiko and Lady Akiko were the first to arrive, which was just before dusk. Sesshomaru, Kagome, Natasha, Hiro, Shippou, and Rin were together to properly greet them. Kagome showed them to their rooms. Their entourage soon followed them after. The lion rulers of the east, Akahito and Jiro, arrived a while later with their own following. As everybody gathered in the dinning hall Sesshomaru made an announcement that tomorrow would be the true start of the gathering. So everybody mingled.

Inuyasha snuck out to take a look at the crowd and his fear was amplified. Okay, it wasn't the crowd, it was the
Sluts Looking for Men who caught a glimpse of him and his ears. (Sluts looking for men will be called SLM) *Tweak* Well, let's say that Inuyasha decided to hide in his room.

Kiya was not having that great of a time either. She was the recipient of male attention that she could have lived
without. Translation: She wanted to beat them up after a while. Kagome, of course, didn't have that problem since
no one in thier right mind would mess with a full blooded, jealous inuyoukai in a rage.

Kiya and Inuyasha ran into each other after everybody went to sleep.
"Oh, hi. Can you believe those sluts?" "No! What about the male assholes? Imagine what it'll be like tomorrow." "NO! I've got to find a way out of this!" "You know you can't get out of it." "Well as neither can get out of going to this thing and have problems with the opposite sex, why don't we go together. We might be able to save each other. I can always kill the males you want me to." "Sure. I get to kill all the females you want too, right?" "Absolutely. Well, now I can get some sleep." With that they just went to sleep feeling much better about the upcoming days.

The next morning everybody ate in bed, because the real fun would not start till later. Kagome was ecstatic at the thought of Kiya and Inuyasha getting together. She knew the golden inu-youkai was attracted to the hanyou. She had learned the first day when she had dragged her to the bath. Of course it was just a physical attraction (damn ears) then, but Kagome had noticed how similar they were as well. Especially after the other night when Kiya had cried on Inu's shoulder, which is HUGE thing especially for Kiya. She might have to mention it to Natasha.

Later that night everybody was gathering in the dining room. Once they gathered and settled down the royals
were introduced. (I'm going to skip the North/East. They are not that important) "I introduce to you Future Lord Prince Shippou, Lady Natasha, and Lord Hiro of the southern lands."
Shippou had not been happy about separating from his mom, but his aunt said he would sit with her later. They bowed and took their seats. "Introducing the Lord Sesshomaru, Lady Kagome, and Princess Rin of Western Land. I also present to you second Lord Inuyasha and Lady Kiya" They also bowed and Sesshomaru made an announcement. "I, lord of this castle, do NOT want a repeat of the last gathering." He slowly looked over the crowd and continued to speak. "I will not hesitate to discipline any person who attempts to harm my family. I would also like to state that my mate's temper is so much more than mine." With that Sesshomaru and his group (Inu, Kag, Kiya, Rin) sat down next to Natasha's family. At that moment a bright purple light appeared that became a form of a women. (You know what going to happen next.) That woman was the goddess that had tortured Inuyasha, but she was also Midoriko. (Sp?)

Okay, Inu may be OOC, but I like him better. So… (Backing away from readers) How is it? *Death glares
