Zoëy blinked and looked to Mrs. Higarashi tilting her head..

“I think I am going to get some fresh air, if its alright with you?”

Mrs. Higarashi nodded in understanding. Zoëy rose from her seat quickly slipping her shoes on and closing the door behind her.. She glanced around as the crisp spring breeze cool her body. A cold chill ran through her spine as she looked around.. She felt the wind pushing her in a certain direction and she let it, soon she was in front of a medium sized building.. She could feel her hear racing as she walked up the stairs slowly opening the door glancing inside..

“Hello? Any one there?”

Zoëy blinked as she stepped inside closing the door behind her, she took a few steps down to what appeared to be a well.. Could this be the well those weirdo’s were talking about? She wondered as she neared its edge, she looked down into it see it ended ‘How can she disappear into the well if there’s a bottom? A trap door maybe? Whoa wait I can’t believe I am thinking its true..’ she felt a large pulse as she leaned over to get a better look.. She pulsed again shaking the well, she stumbled falling in, she yelped afraid to break her neck.

She opened her eyes appearing to have fallen on the ground much softer then she had in mind.. She glanced forward and screamed.

“EeeeeeeeeK! Wha---what’s with the bones?!”

Zoëy shrieked as she quickly stood up stepping onto another, cracking it. She looked at the vine thinking that wasn’t there before? She grabbed it climbing up most stumblishly.. She finally reached the top summer salting over the edge of the well rubbing her head. She glanced around at the forest like scenery..

“Oh god.. Where the hell am I?”

Zoëy gulped standing up even though her legs were weak from the climb. She looked around walking towards the forest passing a large tree. She stopped and leaned against it looking up at it.

“Aren’t you the same tree in kagome’s yard?”

She mumbled sighingly.. She slumped down putting her head on her knees.. Who was going to save her now? No one, that’s who. She sighed again, she glanced at her wrists noticing what appeared to be large star like shapes on them, she had them when she was little too, she glanced at her hear, it was no more blonde, it all had turned to a silverfish blue she gasped.

“I can’t let any one see this! I need to learn another scroll spell to seal this creature inside forever!!”

She groaned as tears began to fall from her cheeks.. She could here the animals of the area fleeing.. She couldn’t imagine why? She got up wiping the tears away as she walked towards the sound of clashing. She stopped dead starring at a large wolf. Or what it appeared to be a wolf.. It was huge, its stature she could not measure.. It howled echoing through out the forest as its scarlet eyes sighted me.. It just stared at me surprised that I did not run from the first instance, but it could smell her fear as it gradually raised within her. She stayed silent and still begging the gods that it would not come any closer..

The wolf growled as it leaped out at her, she shrieked in horror, ear shattering as the wolf knocked her down and slowly put pressure onto her stomach and ribs with its massive paw, she exhaled sharply as she felt the pressure slowly piercing her lunges, she tried to scream but nothing came.. She just whimpered and prayed.. Soon a raging wind came towards them, the wolf perked its ears glancing back releasing some pressure, just enough for her to breath. She wind instantly stopped next to the wolf, it was a man? No. he was some kind of demon creature, pointed ears, and a brown wolf like tail, his long black hair tied back into a ponytail.

“What do we have here?”

The man glanced down at the girl grinning.

“Who might you be?”

The man asked demandingly as the wolf stood over her bearing its large fangs.. She gulped and answered, her voice hallow in fear and disbelief.

“I-- I am.. Zoëy.. And y--you?”

She stuttered glancing at him, she was shaking somewhat, he laughed enjoying the girl quivering in fear.

“I am Kouga, Leader of the Wolf demons in the mountains!”

He said proudly. He lent her a hand still have a grin planted on his face as his eyes glinted, he liked the sight of her.. She grunted sitting up and standing without his help.. And stumbled towards him as he caught her in his arms.

“Careful? Wouldn’t want be hurt now.”

She groaned.. “Men” .. she muttered.. Either way, human or demon, they still have such big egos.. She pushed away from him frowning as she crossed her arms flicking her hair over her shoulder.

“Look I am not some demon thing! I am a Human. I regular human girl! Why would you care anyhow?”

He look Pale somewhat and arched a brow at her, his grin returned. Moving close before her.

“Because that’s the kind of man I am. Human, huh? You smell nothing like a human. But smell as if you were a tainted blood of a demon.”

She tilted her head at his words.. He edged close to her practically over her, trying to make her give. She snorted.

“What do you mean tainted?! I am a virgin!”

She yipped at him, glaring at him as he hovered over her.

“I can very well tell, you are the smell of fire still. What I mean by tainted is that you blood has demon in it.”

He nodded putting an arm around her. She blinked… she glanced down blushing.. No guy has ever put there arms around her or anything. He stroked her side of the stomach down to waist. She whipping her hand across his face leaving a print as she backed away.

“Oh god! I’m sorry, I swear I didn’t mean too! It.. It was a reaction!!”

He blinked putting a hand to his cheek the thought of her slapping him… impossible. Although she had done it within a blink, and hard.

“eh.. It’s ok?”

He murmured.. She acted like the one called kagome.. But yet she was much more different. In smell, and in looks, most of all personality. She blinked.. She walked towards him a couple steps.

“um.. Your legs are glowing?”

She stared at his legs.. Sensing the same light as the one in her locket.. Kouga gazed at her in disbelief. She could see the shards? But how?! All he knew that he had to get her on his side before the mutt or any one else did. He grinned once more at her gazing.

“Come with me.”

She blinked.. She growled, resisting.

“Why should I?! I just met you, you could be one of those demon things that lures me into a trap and probably eat me!”

She snorted. He glanced over his shoulder.. His eyes glinted as the wolf began to growl on insistence. She gulped again her fear rising.. Kouga began to walk ahead slow enough for her to run to him. The wolf was about to pounce on her, its scarlet eyes flaring as he licked his muzzle.. She shrieked running ahead to kouga.

“You were going to let that thing eat me, weren’t you?!”

She exclaimed at him, he glanced at her and grinned again.

“So, are you coming, or shall I leave you here with this hungry demon?”

She growled.. She knew she was cornered.. Her life was beginning to get worse every living moment.. She sighed giving in to kouga, before she knew it she was swept into his arms and he was dashing at amazing speeds to his living quarters. He stopped before a waterfall glancing at her to see if she was alright. She was a bit dazed from the run, but he knew she had enjoyed it. He smiled allowing her to get down if she liked, or stay in his arms.. He would have liked it if she stayed in his arms, her warmth was comforting to the wolf demon. She stepped down still stumbling.. He helped steadying her.

“I don’t need you help.. I‘m just a little dizzy.”

She murmured.. He helped her anyway and she protested no more as he held her arm as they walked behind the water fall into the wolf den. The others silenced as kouga entered.

“Listen up! If anyone here even lays a bite on her I will personally kill them myself.”

He made himself clear to the others as began to chat among them selves, watching the girl.. She hated to be stared at, she scowled at them, she knew they could feel her fear. she practically clung to kouga from the staring wolves and wolf demons. He smirked not minding how close she got, he could feel her tender breasts against his arm, only being separated but some cloth.. He walked slowly glancing at her murmuring soft words to calm her, as if she were nothing but a small fawn scared and riled. He placed her on the patch where most of them slept, the warm furs bounced her a bit before she settled. she whimpered slightly glancing around at the leering eyes.. She growled at kouga as he had just tossed her like a ball into the fluff.

“So.. What are you going to do with me?”

She sneered at him crossing her arms waiting for his response.. He grinned kneeling next to her.

“I am going to keep you as mine, to help find those jewel shards. From now on I claim you. I no longer have a desire for the kagome girl, after seeing you..”

His grin increased.. Her jaw dropped and stood directly up glaring at him, death showing in the glisten.

“Look buddy! I am not some toy for your sick little fantasies! You got that?! And what’s this about kagome? Do you know where she is? I need to find her, if you hadn’t came along I was going to find her!!! I think..”

She kept a steady glare on him as her eyes flashed.. She ignored the uneasy shifts from all around her. He stood in front of her grinning down at her..

“I like them feisty.. Kagome, she is with that mutt inutrasha. And that’s to bad for you, because this is your new home.”

“I think not! Tell me where exactly kagome is now!”

“I wouldn’t know, I can’t smell her from this distance.”

“You can smell her..? that’s just wrong..”

“I am a wolf demon after all”

He smirked, placing an arm around her pulling her closer to him.

“And you actually smell nice, for tainted blood.”

She blinked noticing the pull. She tried to push away but his grip was stronger, she bared her small fangs at him swiping him, straight across the face.

“You Pervert! Get off of me! And don’t sniff me either!!! And another thing is I am Human! I think..”

She fell from his grip stumbling back, she heard gasps from around her when she slapped him. He blinked, a small red hand print on his face once more, he barely touched it, and it stung like hell.

“That’s another thing I like about you.. You’re pretty strong.”

He marbled at her, letting her inch back some. She shook her head..

“Ok, well if your done staring I am going to leave now..”

She turned away making her way to the exit, the other wolf demons moved in front of it with spears.. She blinked and growled looking back at kouga. He smiled nodding to the others.

“Let her go.”

The others blinked not sure of the leaders orders, they stepped aside as she walked out, she walked for awhile till she was no longer in sight of the den.. She began to run as faster as she could in one direction hoping to find kagome.. Or anyone she knew.. She tripped on a small rock, leaving a minor scrape on her arm. Blood trickled down her hand as she glared at it.

“OH great! What next? Another demon shows up and eats me?”

She sighed standing up ignoring the cut, she continued walking until she came towards the end of the forest, she glanced over the water gardens to a small village. She smiled thinking her luck was starting to look up. She slid down the side of the hill to a dirt path towards the village. She approached the village slowly glancing around. A little girl stopped and looked towards Zoëy, she wandered over to her, with out her mother noticing it.. Zoëy smiled kneeling down to be in the same height range with the little girl..

“Hi there, um.. Do you know where we are?”

“We’re in the village!”

The little girl nodded smiling. She shook her head, the girls mother looked up for her baby glancing over at Zoëy. She stood dead still..

“Honey?! Ge--get away from that demon!!!”

The mother had yelled running towards her daughter and grabbed her, holding her close. Zoëy blinked standing up and slowly backed away..

“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to frighten you.. I’m not a demon either! I am a regular human, just like you?”

The little girl looked at her mother, her expression showing no clue as what was going on..

“Mommy.. Why are you shaking?”

The woman held her daughter closer shaking in fear.

“Leave us alone, you monster!!!”

Zoëy kept backing away shaking her head, her eyes began to fill with tears from her words that echoed in her ears.. She turned away and started to run, as tears streamed down her cheeks as she reached the forest. She slipped onto her knees and hands under a large tree.. She sniffled wiping her eyes as she crawled next to the trunk of the tree, and laid on it for several minutes resting..

Kaede walked out of the hut glancing towards the people hearing the young woman cry out demon.

Inuyasha came rushing out of kaede’s hut glancing around, he growled..

“Where’s the demon?!”

He growled as kagome followed inuyasha glancing around. A young woman holding her child came running towards into inuyasha pointing in the direction of the inuyasha forest.. Inuyasha glanced at the woman crossing his arms.

“Stupid humans..”

Inuyasha muttered under his breath as kagome walked in front of the woman and her child.

“ Are you hurt?”

The woman shook her head.

“That monster nearly got my daughter! Please get rid of it before it returns!”

Kagome smiled and nodded. She glanced at inuyasha smiling.

“Come on inuyasha we should get it while its still close.”

He nodded having kagome hop on his back after she grabbed her bow and arrows. He darted his way to the forest.

Zoëy pulled herself together with a couple sniffles, she looked around thinking she heard something. A dark figure came and passed through the trees with out stop not taking notice of the girl. She quickly rose to her feet holding her arms as she glanced around.. She mumbled something she use to hear all the time but hadn’t known where it came from..

“A feeling of sadness and longing,
That is not akin to pain,
And resembles sorrow only
As the mist resembles the rain.”

She gulped as she heard something coming in her direction once more.. She silenced herself shaking her of fear slightly as she tried to slow her breathing.

“Iron Reaper Soul Stealer!”

The attack was flung at Zoëy, she squeaked falling to her knees dunking.. Inuyasha jumped through the trees about to lay another claw shreader on Zoëy’s head….
