Title: The New Girl At Shikon High

Summary: Kagome is a new student at Shikon High... All her life she had been homeschooled due to her parents moving all over the world. Finally she is able to attend a real high school.. But will she be able to handle all the drastic changes in her life.. and what about these girls that apparently Do Not Like Her.. Will she be able to handle them along with her new crush? Guess you will have to read to find out :)

Chapter 1: Prelouge
Kagome Higurashi was born in Tokyo Japan. Ever since then her family has been moving all around the world to study historical facts. She was brought up to speak her home language of japanese very fluently along with other languages she needed throughout her life.. Including.. English, German, and Spanish.
Kagome never really had time to make many friends.. and if she did.. her family was always too busy moving from place to place for her to keep any of them. Yes Kagome was alone except for her family... which consisted of her Mom, Grandpa, and brother Souta.. ooo and the most important part of all and her best friend ever. her adopted son Shippo.
Shippo is a fox kitsune she had found one day on a hike through her backyard in Japan.. Yes she has been back and forth to Japan many times throughout the years.. but they never permenately stayed.. They would only go back about once a year or so to check up on their family shrine.
Shippo's parents had been killed by two thunder brother demons. When he was just around 2 years old.. Kagome found him hiding in a small cave which she assumed to be his previous home. Kagome was 13 at the time and very mature for her age. She brought him back home with her and took care of him.. Her mother took one look at Shippo and fell in love.. For some reason though the young kitsune would only listen to Kagome and stayed by her side all the time. As he grew and grew more and more fond of Kagome and eventually started to call her his Oka-san.
At the age of 16 Kagome had all the papers done and had oficcially claimed him to be her new son, and had adopted him. Kagome's mother was thrilled at the idea and Shippo couldn't have been more Happier that his Oka-san for so long had finally actually claimed him as her son.
Kagome was now 17 soon to be 18 and was entering her final year of high school. Her mom and grandfather had a surprize planned for her and she just couldn't wait. Kagome's mother told her that as soon as she got home from the market that they would all sit down and she would learn of her surprize. As soon as Kagome heard the front door open and saw her mother enter she was eccstatic!
"Mom , Finally your home.. What took you so long?" Kagome whined.
"Dear there was a very long line at the market and they didnt have one of the items i needed so i had to go to a different one as well." Mrs. Higurashi said.
"Oh" was all Kagome managed to say.
Finally after all the grocerys were put away Mrs.Higurashi, Kagome , Souta, Her grandpa, and Shippo all sat down in the livingroom. Kagome tapped her foot impatiently before finally her mom decided to speak.
"Honey.. we have decided that we have gotten too old to be out traveling and learning more history when we could just stay in our shrine back home and learn plenty of stuff there." Mrs.Higurashi said before clearing her throat and started speaking again.
"We also decided that it would be nice to get you guys setteled in one place and into a real school so you could get used to how the worlds gonna treat you one day. Kids we have decided were going to move back to our shrine for good.. and all three of you guys are going to go to Real schools..and Kagome will be able to graduate in a real highschool" Mrs. Higurashi said.
Gasps were heard all throughout the room and many shouts of hurr-ay filled the air. All three children were extremely happy with the new decision.. Kagome had just one question she just HAD to ask..
"When are we leaving?"
hehe soo what do ya think of the prolouge? hehe i hope this story turns out good. I got the homeschool idea and an idea about the challanges shes going to have to face once she gets into her high school from the movie Mean Girls.. (everything else tho is different.. at least as different as it can get! .. (Spoiler: The girls she encounters arent going to try and befriend her at all like they do in the movie) just thought id let ya kno hehe !
