Chapter 2 : "The Meeting with Kikyo"
A few weeks into the school year.....
Kagome stalked through the halls as she headed as far away from the Lunch room as possible. She didn't know exactly what had gotten into her but for some reason that guy Inuyasha just pissed her off so easily! Sure she had been insulted before when they were traveling but people would at least get a chance to know her a little bit. But NO he immediatly started the name calling.
Kagome didn't know where she was going nor did she really care.. She just needed some time to cool off. She soon found herself outside by the school's football field. Kagome sighed as she slumped against one of the bleechers. Today had not been the best of days, and unfortuanately for her it wasn't over.
Already she had been yelled or scolded at by at least 4 different teachers. She didn't even know what she did wrong. One time she opted to get up to go to the girls bathroom. But the teacher stopped her and demanded to know where she was going. When she told him he stated that she needed a pass and needed to ask first. So Kagome decided to ask. Still the man said a firm no and pointed to her seat. She just didn't get it what did he have against her going to the bathroom.
In another class she had answered a teachers question. Immensly proud of herself for knowing the answer she was knocked completely off guard when she got scolded for not raising her hand first.
She really didn't understand. What in the world would raising your hand have to do with answering a question.
That has how the day had gone about so far. With her doing small things she soon found out not allowed at all.
"Ha for all I know I might not even be allowed outside right now." Kagome said to herself. Then as if struck by lighting she shot up off of the bleachers.
"Shit with my luck I'm not allowed out here at all." Kagome exclaimed as she rushed back towards the door and towards where her next class would be.
Filled with relief as she skidded into her classroom just as the bell rang. She quickly found herself a seat next to a familiar disgruntled face she would quite clearly wish to forget.
"Inuyasha" she hissed under her breath.
Inuyasha swivelled his ears over as he heard Kagome mutter his name. He could tell she was obviously not happy with him by the clear bitterness that she said his name with.
Inuyasha quickly scribbled a note down for her and flicked it over to her desk where she picked it up and read it carefully.
Whats the matter with you?
Kagome took her pen and quickly scribbled back.. Why do you care?
Kagome flung it back over to him and watched as he read and then wrote....I Don't.. Just curious.. this class is mad boring..I normally sleep in history or sorcial classes .. but now since your hear i guess i can just pick on you and that would be just as fun.
Kagome scowled and grabbed the paper and wrote furiously.. YOU are what's the matter with me! you and that attitude.. I did nothing to you and yet you seem to have a need to torment you.. and to top it all off this days just been shit.. I've gotten into trouble over the stupidest things in the world! I never knew schooling outside of homeschool was sooo unbelievably stupid!.
Kagome carelessly tossed the paper back over to Inuyasha and watched as he wrote back his reply before throwing it on her desk.
ME? Feh Im just getting you used to what you are sure to face in this hell hole we call school.. If you want I could MAYBE.. go a little easier on you.. but that doesn't mean that other people will.
Kagome stared in shock at the note in her hands.. He was actually going to try and be nicer to her? Wow since when did the world cease to exist and why wasn't I informed.. kagome thought. But still she couldn't help but think that his words were sincere.
Alright then plz be a little nicer if at all possible.. n Thanks Kagome wrote.
Her response was a simple Keh.. Don't mention it.
Kagome looked over and noticed a slight blush tinging Inuyasha's cheeks. She smiled lightly and decided that maybe now she should actually pay more attention to class before she gets into trouble again.
As History class ended and the bell rang, the teacher and all the students filed out into the hall. As Kagome was about to leave she felt herself being pulled roughly backwards by a few pairs of hands.
"Huh .. what the hell do you guys want?" Kagome asked to the three girls who had pulled her.. She noticed them to be three she had seen sitting at the "Barbie Doll" table. She definetly did Not want to get caught up with them.
One girl that looked eerily like herself stood in front of the other two as she introduced herself to be Kikyo and her two friends Yura, and Kagura. Until finally Kikyo got right down to the point.
"Look her miss bitch i don't know who the fuck you think you are but you are not to go near my boyfriend ever .. I repeat Ever again. I saw you passing notes with Inuyasha and i also clearly remember you sitting next to him at lunch alot lately too. KEEP Away from him hes mine" Kikyo Hissed.
Kagome's control snapped. "Look K-i-k-y-o,(she sounded out her name to annoy her) I dont know what your problem is but I am not doing anything to Inuyasha at all. and i certainly don't like him like.. like that! eww.. and just to let you know I don't see what makes you think u have any right to control who he can and cannot talk to." Kagome snapped
Kikyo glared at her before replying." for some reason I choose not to believe your story and instead to ensure this never occurs again i think we will leave you with a little reminder."
At that moment all three girls jumped at her and cut her once extremly lengthy raven hair(it was below her ass) to just a little past shoulder length. Also while Yura and Kagura held her down Kikyo slapped her across the face and punched her directly in her left eye While writing all over her arms with black marker. Kikyo made sure she had plenty of snotty phrases . Like.. "Kikyo is the best", "I am stupid" , "Inuyasha is Kikyo's", and "I'm a bitch" . Once she was done she looked down at the abused girl.
"Well my job here is done... lets see if Inuyasha ever looks at her again with the way she looks now.. lets go girls oh and be sure to kick her once or twice before you leave as well." Kikyo said.
With that Kikyo, Yura, and Kagura left Kagome lying in her history class alone and abused. Slowly Kagome pulled herself up and still not wanting to be extremly late limped towards her next class. She was sort of in shock of what had just happened she completly forgot the way she must look now. That is however until she walked into her final class (chemistry) where she saw the look of all the students .. including her newly made friends (aka the people who sit at her lunch table lol .. you know the gang! hehe).
Finally she just couldn't take it anymore and she collapsed with tears in her eyes. Too weak to stop herself from falling she embraced herself .. ready to meet the cold hard floor once again. But that feeling never came..
Instead right before she slipped to hit the ground she felt two strong arms, and saw a patch of Silver hair stop her fall. She smiled knowingly and wispered one word before she slipped into unconsciouness.
"Inuyasha"
Well how do ya like it? yea sorry for all you Kikyo lovers out there.. i really really really dislike her.. lol n since im writing this story shes not gonna be one of my favorite characters in here hehehe.. :)
