Chapter 10

 

I went looking for Inuyasha when I ran into Ayame. She asked me if I had seen Kouga. I nodded & pointed towards Naraku's castle. She finally noticed what I was wearing or not wearing. I walked towards where Sango had last spotted Inuyasha. I wished that I hadn't done that in front of him. I found him & asked him to forgive me. He acted like he didn't notice me.

 

Later that night I sat down under the tree & went to sleep. Inuyasha laid down beside me & covered me with his haori. I sighed & continued on sleeping away. He turned human that night so he was left without any means of protection from me. I slept most of the night. I called his name in my sleep. He looked down & saw that I was still asleep. He smiled & snuggled up close to me.

 

Later Naraku came & found us. I was looking around for danger & thought to keep Inuyasha safe. Naraku grabbed me & took me away to his castle. When we got to his castle he chained me to the floor. Then he left to get some items to torture me with. I wanted it to be daybreak already. When he came back, he was holding a whip, a knife, anew set of chains, & more that would be painful even to Inuyasha. He had the knife in his hands & readied to strike me. He asked me” what do you think of me? Don't say the wrong answer or face the torture of my knife.”

 

I thought about my answer. I said” you're the greatest person that I have ever met. Naraku asked” will you have one of my children?” I froze. I shook my head & prepared for pain. Daybreak came & Inuyasha busted in as Naraku used the knife on my clothes as well as my skin. I screamed out in pain as the knife cut deep within my skin. Inuyasha wanted to stop the pain but he couldn't. As Naraku cut deeper into the skin, he was willing me to beg for my life Inuyasha cried out the word stop. Naraku looked up & smiled. Seeing Inuyasha's pain was a blessing in disguise for him. Inuyasha got on his knees & begged him to stop what he was doing to me.
