Well, Kagome is going to have a talk with her friends, and then she's headed to work the next day. See what happens! (I can't wait to find out, either! Like I told you, I'm just guessing as I go along!)

Inuyasha's 'Unexpected' Visit

Kagome fell onto her bed. "What's gotten you so upset?" Yuka asked, staring at her reflection in Kagome's vanity. "Yeah, spill it, Kagome!" Eri added. Kagome sat up, "What are you talking about?" She asked, "I'm just tired, that Sesshomaru had the nerve to give me a whole list!" Ayumi shrieked. "Sesshomaru is so hot!" She cried, "What's he like? Is his personality as great as he looks?"

Kagome shrugged. "To tell you the truth… maybe he is kind of cute.." She said, blushing. "I still can't believe you work for a famous guy!" Eri said, sitting by her. "I still can't believe he's got me wearing that dumb uniform!" Kagome said, annoyed. She hugged her knees to her chest.

"Girls, promise to keep a secret, and not to laugh." They all agreed, and gathered around her curiously. She began to turn a pinkish red again. "Well, today… he…I don't know-he" She couldn't manage to say it. "Just tell us!" Ayumi practically screamed. "Okay!" Kagome snapped.

"Well, today, I think he came onto me…" She said, quietly. "What!" Yuka shrieked. "But you're too young!" Eri exclaimed. "No, she isn't…" Ayumi declared, "Age doesn't matter to demons, they live far longer than humans." They all stared at Kagome. "Why, what'd he do?" Yuka asked, interested.

Kagome told them what happened before she left, and she mentioned that he was always staring at her legs. They all began to giggle and shriek, (like teenage girls would.) "Kagome, you're so lucky!" Ayumi cried, "I've always had a little crush on him." They all admitted that they did, except for Kagome.

"Kagome! Admit it!" Eri demanded, "You know you want him! Who wouldn't?" Kagome sighed. "Perhaps, I do…" She laughed, shyly. She finally began to relax and have fun after that. It was like that was all she needed to do. Was to admit she had these unknown feeling for him, and she now felt like she had something heavy taken off her shoulders. She had a great time with her friends that night.

The next day, she woke up to find her friends were getting ready to leave. "Hey, Kagome!" Yuka smiled. "Finally up, Sleeping Beauty?" Eri Joked. Kagome sat up, and stretched. "W-What time is it?" She asked wearily. "10:45 on the dot!" Yuka told her, "We're leaving, now, so you can get ready for work, and uh… whatever else may happen!" With that she winked, and they left.

Kagome blushed. 'Nothing will happen!' She tried to convince herself. She got up, and got dressed. Then had breakfast. When 1:30 came around, she had to go to work. She dressed up in her lousy uniform, and set off.

Sesshomaru had almost forgotten about Kagome coming for the afternoon to tidy up. He had other things on his mind. He looked up in surprise when she marched in through the door. "I'm here!" She sang, cheerfully. He gazed at her. "Somebody looks like there in a good mood." He commented. She couldn't help but smile. "Somebody is!" She said, happily.

"You forgot your paycheck last night" He told her. She nodded, not sure what to say without sounding ungrateful. She caught him look at his watch. "I'm leaving, please clean up while I'm gone." He said, out of the clear blue, as if he just remembered something. He grabbed his jacket, and walked out the door.

'That was strange…' Kagome thought, 'He sounded pissed off!' She was just relieved not to have a 'list' today! She began to tidy up the guest room, and went into Sesshomaru's room to fix his unmade bed, and polish the furniture and stuff.

She stared at his perfectly large room. It was so dark and mysterious in here. There were no pictures on the walls, or anything like that. There was some work out equipment, and a large sword hanging on the wall. It was very plain. His king sized bed looked very comfortable.

It was red, and black. The colors screamed Sesshomaru! She could picture him sleeping in the bed. She suddenly got a strange urge. She was dying just to lay in the large bed. Only for a second. She looked out the door, just to see that nobody was watching. (She was alone in the house, duh!) She slipped her ridiculous mary janes off, and without a second thought slid under the covers.

"Mmm…" She sighed. It was very comfortable. She could smell Sesshomaru's cologne all over the place. She rubbed her face against the soft pillow, and felt herself almost doze off! She was interrupted by the doorbell. She nearly jumped out of her skin. She quickly slipped her shoes back on, and ran down the stairs to the door.

It rang again. They must be getting impatient. She opened the door to see a very angry Inuyasha. 'It's Sesshomaru's brother!' She almost said, aloud, but didn't. "C-can I help you?" She muttered. "Yeah!" He growled, "Is Sesshomaru here?" "Eh, no… he stepped out." She told him. He let out an impatient sigh. "I told him I'd be here! Where the hell is he?" He mumbled.

She felt her temper rise, but didn't want Sesshomaru to fire her, so she said calmly, "I'm sorry, I don't know where he could be…" Inuyasha suddenly stared at her. "Well, I could wait for him here." He said in a silky tone. She felt his eyes on her, and almost fainted when they fell onto her breasts.

She gasped, and felt herself lose control. "No, you may not!" She cried, slamming the door in his face. She then realized what she just did, and knew she would get fired. "Oh, great!" She cried aloud. She sunk onto the couch, devastated. 'Maybe if I clean up, extra good, he won't fire me!' She told herself hopefully. She realized that was her only chance, and started working.

Sesshomaru got home about an hour later. He walked in to see that Kagome was cleaning out under the furniture. She stood up when she noticed him. "Was my brother here?" He asked her. She felt as if she would start crying. "Uh, yes…" She told him, avoiding his eyes. "Good!" He said relieved, I missed the bastard! If he shows up again, tell him I'm not here."

He then looked up to see her looking very frightened, and he could smell that something was bothering her. "What's the matter? What happened?" He asked her. She felt herself begin to blush. "H-he won't be returning…" She said, with a nervous smile.
