Making Herself at Home

The next day Kagome woke up to her cell phone ringing. She put it to her ear. "Yeah?" She said, groggily forgetting her manners.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty!" Came Eri's taunting voice.

Kagome groaned. "What?"

"Look, it's your day off and-"

"No, I'm going into work." Kagome cut her off.

"What?!" Eri shrieked, "We never hang anymore!"

Kagome just sighed, and hung the phone up.

She knew that wasn't the 'nicest' thing to do, but it wasn't very nice calling at 6 am, either. She let her phone fall to the ground, and dove back under her warm covers. The phone rang, again.

"Fucking Eri!" Kagome groaned, loudly, as she picked her phone up, again.

She put it to her ear. "Damn you! It's six in the morning, don't call again!" She cried, into the phone. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" Came a soft voice.

Kagome blinked. "Eri?"

"No, it's Sango, I just-"

"Oh my gosh! I didn't mean that!" Kagome blurt out.

"It's okay." Sango said, happily, "I just wanted to know if you were working today?"

Kagome sat up happily in her bed. "Yup." She said, stretching.

"Think I could come over?" She asked, again, "I've been going through a lot at home and…" Her voice trailed off.

"No problem." Kagome yawned into the phone. "We can talk when I get there."

Kagome dropped the phone once more, after they hung up. She decided to get ready for work early. Catch Sesshomaru by surprise. She giggled to herself, imaging his face when he saw her, so she got ready.

It was 7am in the morning when Kagome got to the house. She thought she would sneak in his room, and jump on him, or something to that extent. She stood in the doorway, scheming.

"Early are we?" Came a silky voice at the top of the stairs. She nearly jumped out of her skin.

"Damn!" She cried, "I was supposed to get you!" He just snickered, and walked down the stairs. "I hope you don't mind, Sessho, but I invited Sango over." He glanced at her strangely, when she called him 'Sessho'. "How considerate of you." He said, after a hesitation.

She just smiled, lightly. "Oh, shut up!" She laughed. "Since when have I become Sessho?" He asked her. She fell onto his couch. "Since always." She declared. He raised an eyebrow at her, as he sipped some coffee from his mug. He was sitting on the couch on the opposite side of the coffee table.

She yawned. "Really. I wanted to call you Sessho from day one!" She insisted. He just smiled at her, very lightly. "I love that robe on you!" She commented. It was the same one from the other day. The black, and dark red. "Would you like it better off?" He asked, smirking at her stunned face.

"You pig!" She gasped, playfully, throwing a toss pillow at him. He just loved her sense of humor.

She let out a small sigh. "I suppose I'll get to work." She said, getting up. He had another witty comment for that, but kept his mouth shut, this time. She walked to his bedroom, and began to make the bed, and clean up.

She then saw a door that caught her attention. She hadn't entered it before, because it was always locked. But now, the door was cracked open slightly, and light shone brightly through the other side. She curiously crept in. It was a huge bathroom She gasped at the beautiful bathroom.

She walked in, and gazed at the beautiful designs on the porcelain tile. Every wall tile was white, with swirling golden designs. She then looked at the large tub. How convenient! It was a Jacuzzi type thing. The type of bathtub where bubbles were pumped in. She felt the sudden urge to take a bath.

She ran down the stairs, almost sprinted. Finally she found herself eye to eye with Sesshomaru. He had been at the bottom of the stairs, and obviously shocked at her sudden actions. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked her.

"I just wanted to ask a question…" She said.

"Mm Hmm?" He mumbled, while sipping his coffee.

"Can I take a bath?" She blurt out with a sudden rush of energy.

He eyed her strangely. "Only if I'm invited…" He said, with a sly grin.

She reached up, and kissed his lips. "Maybe later, Hentai!" She laughed.

He let out a sigh, and shook his head, as she ran back up the stairs.

He went into his room to hear the water running, and his maid humming happily. She had left the door open, a bit, but not enough so he could see her bathing. He watched her little maid's dress hit the ground, carelessly.

Her little sigh of relief got him going. He picked up the delightful sound easily with his sensitive ears.

"Sessho?" She called out.

He let out a tired groan, "Hm?"

"Do you have any bubbles?" She begged. He sighed, and got up to enter the bathroom.

Her slender body, swaying with the water was quite a sight to see. He glimpsed at her with his lustful eyes, and she just smiled.

"You have bubbles." He groaned, but she could sense his humor.

"I want the big, white, puffy kind!" She smiled. He rolled his eyes, but couldn't deny how cute she was.

He just glared at her. "Am I invited yet?" She looked up at him, in that robe and giggled, shyly.

"It is your bathroom!" She said in a very sexy voice.
