Kayko growls getting frantic.

"Mom.....Dad is getting married." Kayko tells her. A small hint of pain comes across Kagome's face. She lays her head back down.

"Oh. I see he's.....getting married...."

"To a horrible woman Mom. She has a nasty attitude. We can't let him go through with-" Kagome cuts Kayko off waving her hand at her.

"Girls, your father's a grown man and quite capable of deciding whom he wishes to marry...." Kagome chuckles and shakes her head.

"But she's all wrong for him Mom." Kasumi steps up. "And the only way he won't her is...." Kasumi trails off and steps behind Kayko whispering to her. "You know her better, you tell her."

"If he sees you again." Kayko finishes Kasumi's sentence. Kagome starts putting all their words together and begins laughing.

"You're trying to get back with your father?"

"Why not?" Kasumi questions stepping back in. "You two are made for each other. Kayko smiles nodding.

"Right a match made from heaven." Kayko smiles. Miroku and Sango are just about to reach until Kagome bolts up looking at them.

"NOT SO FAST YOU TWO!" She shouts making them jump looking back her highly frighten. "You two knew about this?" She looks between them. They both stand there mumbling words.

"We tired to reason with them." Miroku tells her.

"What could we do? How can we say no to our best friends children who are also our best friends?"

"But if there's anyone you should be mad at Kagome it's...."

"Them!" Miroku and Sango says at the same pointing at Kayko and Kasumi.

"Hey you traitors!!!" Kayko and Kasumi shouts. Miroku and Sango shrugs looking more scared of Kagome.

"It's every person for themselves." Miroku tells them.

"Ok whatever. Let me say this loud and clear right now!" She raises her voice again as she raises to her feet. They all step a foot back as she stumbles a bit. She stands up straight. "Inuyasha Shikon and I have nothing in common....anymore. Plus, in case you haven't noticed, he seems extremely content with his leggy, long haired, tight-skirted fiancé. I want the two of you to explain to your father that I am here for one purpose only and that's to switch you two back. Now, let's do what we have to do and be done with it. Understand?" She questions her daughters in a strict tone. They both nod their head quickly.

"Exactly you girls should know better then that!" Miroku pretends to scolds only to get a death glare from Kagome. "I was just-I'm sorry." He puts his head down.

In the next room over Inuyasha stands in the mirror trying to fix his shirt.

(A/N: With Kagome yelling and stumbling around and he doesn't hear that in the next room those are some thick walls)

Kikyo looks at him in confusion as she zips her tight black up.

"No. I don't understand." She snaps putting her heels on.

"I just need to go downstairs for a few minutes to c-c-clear my head... then I'll meet you for lunch."

"Clear your head? Clear your head for what? Is there something wrong?"

"I hope not. I mean no. We're getting married in ten days and everything is perfect hone." He pecks her lips and runs out the door. Kikyo shakes her head still looking confused.

Inuyasha walks out the door bumping into Kayko.

"Excuse me honey."

"What's up Dad?"

"Just running down to the lobby. Hey Sumi do me a favor and keep Kikyo company. Thank you love tons." He then turns back to her. "How do I look? Presentable not too old?"

"Nope, you look perfectly fine and young." She smirks and winks at him.

"Thanks remind me to raise your allowance." He rushes off.

"Why so Kasumi can get it." She crosses her arms.

Inuyasha runs out the elevator and looks around Kagome. He bumps into Kasumi for the first all summer.

"Hey Dad!" She smiles. He looks confused.

"Hey. I thought you were going to keep Kikyo company." He tells her looking around. She looks confused.

"I was? I mean I am. Yeah." She snaps her fingers. "I was just looking for her. It's great to see you Dad." She gives him a quick hug.

"It's great to see you too squirt." He kisses her forehead. "Now beat it up there." He smiles and walks off. Kasumi walks to the elevator only to see Kikyo looking her mirror. Kikyo puts the mirror in her bag and doesn't look at Kasumi.

"Have you seen your father?" Kikyo questions her looking her bag. Kasumi looks Kikyo up and down and raises her eyebrow.

"Are you talking to me?" Kasumi snaps. Kikyo looks at her and squares her eyes at Kasumi.

"No I'm talking to the little blue men on your shoulders." Kikyo rudely rolls her eyes. Kasumi gets ready to lay this lady when she realizes it's Kikyo her Dad's soon-to-be-bride.

"Ok Kikyo....oh I just saw him actually." Kasumi tells her. Kikyo puts her hand on her hip.

"Um Well? Hullo? Where is he genius?" Kikyo snaps. Kasumi stares at her.

"Oh he went that way." She points behind not taking her eyes off of Kikyo. Kikyo raises her eyebrow.

"What are you staring at?"

"Oh nothing. You're just really pretty that's all." She smiles innocently. Kikyo looks her up and down.

"Oh now all of sudden you want to be nice. Well I'm not your father child I'm not easily conned. If you see your father tell him I'm waiting." She walks off.

"Sure thing Cruella." Kasumi mumbles.

Inuyasha looks in the gift shop for Kagome he sees Kayko thinking she's Kasumi. He walks in the shop as she buys candy.

"Kasumi what are you doing?"

"She wasn't in the room when I checked."

"She wasn't? Ok well see ya in a little bit kid."

"If not sooner Dad." She smiles as bites into her snickers bar. Inuyasha walks off.

Kagome sits in the bar sipping on water, she takes some aspirin for her splitting headache. Kikyo walks into the bar and sits next to Kagome. Kagome looks at Kikyo not recognizing her. Kagome holds her glass of water.

"Here's to you and I pray your life is never as horrible as mine." Kagome smiles still feeling sick. Kikyo smiles a little and laughs a little.

"Um thanks." She turns to the bartender. "I'll have a corona please." The bartender slips Kikyo her drink and Kagome her bill. Kagome signs her check and slides it forward. Kikyo sips her drink and takes a look at the name she gasps looking at Kagome.

"Kagome Higurashi? The Kagome Higurashi?"

"That's the name I was given at birth." Kagome smiles. Kikyo smiles turning to her.

"I just called your office yesterday and they say you were out of town and as fate has it you're here. Hi I'm Kikyo Takani." Kikyo holds her hand out. Kagome smiles and shakes it.

"How are you?" They both laugh together.

Inuyasha walks around the poolside looking for Kagome. He sees Kagome walking she looks at him, he rushes over to her but trips on a skateboard. Kayko gasps.

"Dad watch-"She stops her sentence as he falls right into the pool. Kagome gasps looking at him and covers her mouth. He swims to the same side Kagome is, he gets out the pool soaking wet not looking very happy. Kagome backs up a little.

"Inuyasha hello....long no time see eh? Please try not to go crazy." Kagome puts her hands together as she stops backing up when he stops coming near her. He crosses his arms.

"Feh! It's a little too late for that Kagome!"

(A/N: What's an Inuyasha fic without Inuyasha saying his best known line)

"I don't hear from you in 15 years and out of the blue you just show up and you expect me not to go crazy?!" He raises his voice from irritation and his stinging head. Kayko runs over to them.

"Dad I can explain why she's here."

"Kasumi you know who this woman is?" He looks at her.

"Actually yes and actually I'm not Kasumi either." Kayko clears her throat. Kasumi appears on the other side of Kagome.

"I am Kasumi." Inuyasha's eye widen wider as he looks from Kayko to Kasumi then to Kagome. Kagome nods her head and crosses her arms.

"Both of them? Kayko....Kasumi?"

"Well I guess you and Mom think alike. You both sent us to the same camp. We met and the whole thing jus kinda came out." Kayko explains as Kasumi.

"So they decided to switch places on us Inuyasha."

"Wait a minute. I had Kayko all the time?" Inuyasha questions still looking confused. Kayko nods her head.

"You see I wanted to know what you were like and Kasumi wanted to know what Mom was like. Are you angry?" Kayko looks at him. Inuyasha shakes his head after sinking everything in. "Of course not honey. Come here you." He hugs Kayko tightly he lets her go staring at her. "Wow the last time I saw you were only a couple of hours old."

"Well I'm quite grown up without a father." Kayo crosses her arms.

"And I'm going to 16 without a mother to share clothes with." Kasumi adds. Inuyasha rubs his head then looks at Kasumi.

"Wait a minute you been Japan all this time. Come here." He opens his arms. Kasumi hugs him tightly, he kisses her forehead.

"Oh Dad Mom is amazing. I really don't want to leave her now." Kasumi pouts. Kagome steps up stepping in.

"Girls why don't you let your father and I take for a couple of minutes. Ok?" She smiles as they walk off together. Inuyasha grabs a towel and begins drying his black hair.

"Wow seeing them here together and you and how are you doing Kag or does everyone call you Kagome?"

"No Kag is fine." She shrugs. "I'm doing great how are you?"

"I've had much better days." He nods. "How's your Grandpa doing still telling those all old fiction tales?"

"Yeah he's still telling them and he was filling Kasumi's head up." She shakes her head. They both stare at each other and exchange a smile. Inuyasha shakes his head.

"I can't believe it. You haven't changed at all." He says looking at her from head to toe. Kagome puts her hands on her hips.

"Oh you thought I'd be gray and old?" She smirks.

"Well not gray." He shrugs. She pinches his arm.

"Ow."

"Watch it." She warns him. He smiles.

"OH finally there you are Inuyasha!" Kagome and Inuyasha turn around seeing Kikyo walking to them. She looks a little taken back that they are together talking.

"Oh. You've met Kagome Higurashi. Good. Honey she's making my wedding dress....But I don't get it. How did you two meet and why are you all wet?" Kikyo looks at Inuyasha. Inuyasha nods looking at Kikyo.

"I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I-" He stops short realizing something he turns to Kagome. "You're making my fiancé's wedding dress?" Inuyasha raises his eyebrow. Kagome crosses her arms not looking happy and taps her foot.

"Well I didn't know she was your fiancé." Kagome snaps as her anger begins to boil and crosses her arms. Inuyasha turns back to Kikyo.

"How did we meet? How did you two meet?" He asks her. Kikyo ignores his question and looks between them.

"Maybe I'm missing something because I'm confused."

"Wow this is a small world." Inuyasha shakes his head and laughs a little. He figured if he didn't find the humor in this awkward situation soon he was going to drown himself in the pool.

"How small?" Kikyo looks up and down and crosses her arms.

Kayko walks up to them and smiles at Kikyo.

"Hey Kikyo."

"Hello." Kikyo still looks confused and feels uneasy about this whole thing.

"How are you doing?" Kasumi appears behind Kikyo. Kikyo turns around and sees another Kasumi. She shrieks looking at the both of them and backs up.

"Honey did I ever mention Kasumi was a twin?" Inuyasha questions her knowing he didn't. Kikyo hugs her waist looking a little freaked and annoyed.

"No....you forgot to mention that little fact." She puts her best fake smile and laughs a little. "Two of them how fabulous. I think that's so cute." She gives out a little snobbish laugh. Kagome squints her eyes at Kikyo a little noticing what the girls where talking about earlier.

"Hey don't fret about it. He didn't tell me either and imagine seeing yourself you don't know at a camp. Pretty freaky right. By the way I'm the Kasumi and that's Kayko. I was in Japan with my Mom Kagome Higurashi. By the way Dad I want to change my name too Kasumi Higurashi-Shikon." Kasumi says in one breath. Kikyo looks in shock and her eyes widen a bit.

"She's your mother?" Kikyo questions the girls. Kayko and Kasumi smile confidently and proudly.

"Yep." Kikyo turns to Kagome.

"You married Inuyasha."

"Um....yeah." Kagome forces a smile on her face.

"Wow this is a small world." Kikyo gives an uneasy laugh.

"And it's getting smaller."

Sesshoumaru and Rin pass they stop. Sesshoumaru gives Kagome a small hug.

"Hi Kagome how are you?" He smiles. Kagome looks confused that he's not surprised to see her.

"I'm fine and you?"

"I'm just fine."

"Oh hi Kagome how are you sweets? It's been forever." Rin hugs her tightly. Kagome hugs her back still confused why Rin isn't surprised either.

"I'm fine and you?"

"I'm great." She giggles. Inuyasha looks at the both of them.

"Hello where have you jerks been? Kagome is here with Kayko! Well she came here with Kasumi and we had Kayko." He still looks confused about that whole thing. Sesshoumaru rolls his eyes putting his hand on Rin's shoulder.

"You're the jerk. We knew about it. We knew it was Kayko all the time." Sesshoumaru raises his eyebrow at his little brother.

(A/N: I know that they are half brothers but I want to make them whole brothers that's the whole point of an alternate universe)

"Who else knows?!!" Inuyasha raises his voice. Sango and Miroku walks up.

"We knew." Miroku tells him.

"Miroku you're here too?" Inuyasha looks confused. Miroku nods his head smiling.

"You're looking great." Miroku sucks up so he doesn't get yelled at.

"Yeah and that wet look fits you all so well." Sango sucks up as well. Inuyasha growls.

"I'm so confused." He rubs his head.

Later that day, Kagome signs out and leans on the desk. Inuyasha looks at her.

"Ok, so how do you want to do this arrangement I'll send Kasumi over for the Cherry Tree Blossom Festival or whatever you call it ." He tells her. Kagome laughs knowing what he's talking about.

"Ok and I'll send Kayko over for Christmas." They both look at each other not knowing what to say or do they look down not looking happy. Miroku and Sango walks to them also feeling horrible things didn't work out.

The elevator opens and Kayko and Kasumi walks off looking identical to one another both wearing black skirts, white button short sleeve shirts and black sandals with their hair in a bun. Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango all stare at them in awe. Inuyasha feels he can tell them apart and he walks to Kayko.

"You're definitely Kasumi. I'm positive of that." He smiles because he knows he's right. Kasumi raises her eyebrow and smile.

"Are you sure Dad because you don't want to send the wrong kid all the way back to Japan. Then we have to do this ALL over again." She tells him putting her hands behind her back. He looks between both of them and steps back then he looks at Kagome who just shrugs her shoulders.

"Here's our proposition. We go back to Dad's house, pack our stuff and the four of us leave for the camping trip and we spend our birthday together." Kayko tells them.

"Four of us?!!!" Kagome questions.

"And when you bring us we'll tell you who's Kayko and who's Kasumi." Kayko explains. Kagome crosses her arms.

"Or you can just do what we say, and I take one of you back to Japan with me whether you like it or not." Kagome looks at them sternly. Kayko and Kasumi look at each other then look back at their parents.
