"InuYasha, it's been three days, and he STILL isn't awake! This is driving me crazy! I need answers." Kagome yelled, frustrated at the daemon's stubborn unconscious. The last three days had been torture. Questions burning inside, but the only one who could answer them wasn't in the real world.

"Keh, what's with you? Yeah, so this guy has something on him that you've seen in a dream, so what? What happened to that always patient Kagome?" InuYasha asked. He was only met with a glare which he shrunk away from. "Um...how about we walk and uh...talk about it?"

*sigh* "Sure, that sounds nice...right about now." Too bad that walk shall never happen, for as the two were about to leave, the daemon stirs...

*ungh...* He sits up, his vision slowly coming back into focus. It was all coming back to him, the evil daemons chasing him the pain and the man in red... The man in red! He sat up, and there he was, with some woman. He jumped to his feet and raced towards the woman. Maybe he could use her as an advantage. He lunged for her only to fall to his knees. He was too hurt to do anything! *Damn these daemons! What have they done to m-...* InuYasha was him in a flash, pinning him to the groung.

*growl* "What do you think you're doing, ungrateful bastard? We bandage you, and take care of you, and you attack us. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!?" InuYasha was pissed at this sudden attack. "Explain yourself, daemon!" He demanded.

"Heh, think you can fool me?" InuYasha's hand began to squeeze his neck,

"Fool ya, huh? Look around you, what's so intimidating about this place?" The daemon scoffed as he began to look.

"I know how you daemons work. With your blankets and pillows...and uh...somewhat comfortable pallets...and uh...and..." He blushed, clearly acknowledging the stupidity he had just showed. "I'm...sorry...I didn't mean to...it's just that...I didn't know. I'm sorry." He submitted to InuYasha. He felt a fool and knew he must look as equally such. InuYasha spoke again,

"Now that that's settled, if I let you up, you're not attacking right? I will not hesitate to kill you." The daemon nodded. "Good." InuYasha helped the daemon up. "Now follow me. We've got some questions for you." He gestured to the woman with him. "Kagome, check his bandages, I smell blood." She nodded as they walked outside.

InuYasha started a fire, and Kagome brought out some fresh bandages. "First off, tell us who you are, and what happened to you."

He sighed, "All right. My name is Malachai, and as you probably figured out I'm a fox daemon. My eyes change with my mood, so it's hard to hide emotion. And I travel the land, surving." There was more to it than that, but nothing that Malachai felt he needed to divulge to these people.

Kagome chirped in, "All right, I'm done. How about some Ramen? He's gotta be hungry after three days InuYasha. I know you like it too," he smirked.

"Ok, fine." He said. "Now, back to business. What happened to you?" Malachai continued his explanation.

"That's not something...I really want known. But to put it simply, I pissed off a bunch of daemons who I thought I could beat, and I was wrong." By now, Kagome had lost it.

"Damnit! I can't take it anymore!" She screamed. "What is that tatoo on your back and why and I dreaming about it?!" Almost immediately, Malachai withdrew from the question, got up and walked away.
