Well, we start on a Monday. Five days away from the biddest dance for the 9th graders, and Kagome was at school for a big test. Then after the test Hojo came over to Kagome.

Hojo: So how are you feeling?

Kagome: Oh, fine.

Hojo: Well Kagome, you know how there's that big dance Friday.

Kagome: Yeah.

Hojo: Well I was hoping you could go with me.

Then Kagome's friends Yuka, Eri, and Ayumi came over.

Yuka: She'd love to.

Eri: Yeah.

Hojo: That would be great. I'll pick you up Friday at 8:30 p.m.

So then Hojo left.

Kagome: Hey what was that for?

Yuka: Kagome you know Hojo's a nice guy. So you know we're doing you a favor.

Ayumi: You know, you guy's forgot to tell Kagome that this dance is one where you can bring a friend from another school.

Then Yuka and Eri Shhhed Ayumi and put their hands over her mouth.

Eri: Don't tell us now that your going to invit your Mr. Posesive, a.k.a. boyfriend.

Kagome: Oh, him like he would go to a dance with me.

Yuka: Good thinking Kagome.

Kagome:

Then Kagome went home. When she got there InuYasha was there.

Kagome: What are you doing here?

InuYasha: What do you mean? I came for you.

Kagome: InuYasha, I need to be back by Thursday night.

InuYasha: Why?

Kagome: I got a dance to go to.

InuYasha: What's a dance?

Kagome: It's where you go to your school at night and hangout with your friends and dance with your date.

InuYasha: Oh well, what's a date?

Kagome: A date is the guy who asked you to the dance.

InuYasha: So who asked you?

Kagome: Hojo.

InuYasha Well, let's go.

Then InuYasha and Kadome went back to fuedal Japan, down the bone eaters well.

Miroku: So you guys have finial came back.

Sango: Kagome is something wrong? You look sad.

Kagome: Oh, me. No I'm fine.

Then they went to Kaede's house.

InuYasha: We'll stay in here tonight.

Miroku: InuYasha let's go get some fire wood.

InuYasha: Whatever.

So then InuYasha and Miroku left.

Sango: Okay Kagome spill it.

Kagome: Huh. What are you talking about?

Sango: You don't seem very happy. Is something wrong?

Kagome: Oh, nothing.

Sango: Kagome you can tell me anything.

Kagome: Well, I got this dance to go to Friday with this guy named Hojo, but I wish...

Sango: Yeah...

Kagome: Sango can you promise to keep this between us?

Sango: Yeah, of course.

Kagome: Okay, well I kind of wish that I could go with... InuYasha

Sango: Well Kagome why don't you ask him?

Kagome: Well, do you really think that InuYasha would go with me to a dance. But please don't tell anyone about this.

Sango: I promise.

Then Shippo came into the hut.

Shippo: Oh, Kagome your back.

Kagome: Yeah I just got back. So where we're you?

Shippo: Oh, I was playing with the kids in the village and collecting chessnuts. So were's InuYasha and the prevert?

Sango: Oh, well they went to get some fire wood.

Then InuYasha and Miroku came back.

Miroku: This should be enough for the night.

InuYasha: Okay we should get some rest. So we can get a fresh start tomorrow.

So then they went to bed. While Kagome was sleeping she started to have a weird dream.
