Chapter 7

I'm really sorry if you didn't understand my symbols before so I'll state them now.

“ .”= talking
` .'= thinking
( ) = me talking to you

I hope this clears any of the confusion that you might have had. And this code starts of this chapter.

After that cold brush off Inuyasha and Kikyo tried to stay far away from each other, but that didn't work because Inuyasha kept following her although staying at a distance. Kikyo unintentionally bumped in him all the time from gathering her herbs to cleaning her shrine home. Finally both of them had enough and went toward each other. Inuyasha was sweating profusely and even Kikyo looked a little unnerved. However in Inuyasha's eagerness to talk to her he tripped on a root sticking up from the earth lurching forward and unceremoniously landing atop of Kikyo.

“I'm very sorry.” Inuyasha murmured leaping up and offering a hand down to her.

“It's alright.” Kikyo replied lifting herself up and brushing the dirt off.

“I've been thinking about what you said…” Inuyasha started.

“Really?” Kikyo asked looking genuinely interested.

“Yes and I agree I guess being human would be worth it if I could stay with you.” Inuyasha whispered.

“That is great we will meet here under the great Goshinbok (spelling?) In a full moon.” Kikyo implicated

“Alright we will meet in a full moon.” Inuyasha copied.

They left to go their ways both dreaming about how their lives together will be.

In a Full Moons Time

Kikyo stood as regal as ever awaiting Inuyasha so the wish could be made and she could live a normal Human woman's life. Somehow a streak of energy passed through her attention and pulled out its claws. It moved closer to her shoulder sucking in her aura before moving for the kill. She thought it was Inuyasha but was puzzled why he became quiet and his aura became deadly.

“Inuyasha what are you doing?” Kikyo exclaimed when she saw Inuyasha closing the distance between them

She never got to speak more because she felt his claws drawing her blood and him savoring the moment when the sensation really blew up at her. She clutched her shoulder praying that the pain would lessen. But knew that her prayers will not be answered.

“How could you?” She cried.

“Heh wench I used you only for the Shikon jewel.” The monster rumbled/

Quickly Kikyo ran away to save the Shikon Jewel. The monster faded with the shadows and left a distinct feeling of fright.

Inuyasha strolled to the meeting spot in high spirits thinking of Kikyo. When he came close to the Goshinbok tree he smelled fear and anger. Not knowing what happened he was on high alert but couldn't sense anyone. When he concentrated he smelled Kikyo and her blood. Afraid he left mood changed completely into confusion and anger that someone would even think of touch his woman.

Kikyo found her old sister Kaede and told her to burn her remains as soon as she killed Inuyasha. Kaede didn't question her furious sister but couldn't help but feel a bit baffled at why her sister wanted to kill the hanyou she declared would help her be a normal woman.

The Next Day

Inuyasha left immediately to the Goshinbok looking to find some answers to what happened yesterday. Kikyo also left to the Goshinbok to regain as much of her energy as she can to find the hanyou and make him pay. The met but Inuyasha was mystified at why Kikyo had anger waves practically drenching her since before he couldn't sense anything off her.

“What is wrong?” Inuyasha asked hoping to calm her down.

“How do you dare show your face here after what you did to me?!” Kikyo exclaimed.

“What?” Inuyasha started finally noticing Kikyo's shoulder which was bandaged but still bleeding.

“What happened to you, who did this to you, tell me so I can kill them!” Inuyasha screeched

“Hah you want to kill them why are you acting so innocent never mind it will make it more interesting for me.” Kikyo chuckled cynically.

And with that said she shot her mystic arrow and to her word it shot perfectly straight to its target. But in a strange twit of fate it seemed to have a mind of its own so it missed by a fraction and caught the ends of his loose, red haori. But that was enough to subdue him for awhile.

Soon after Kikyo felt the ambiance of death coming to get her so she told her sister Kaede that she is to be burned with the Shikon Jewel. Kaede did as she requested and knew that her sister's death was non painful because her arm was numb but the pain of Inuyasha betraying her was immense.
