InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ The Prophecy ❯ Chapter 8

Hey guys, I think I'm getting better at this writing stuff. Yay. Anyway I'm gonna try to write more descriptive. Please R&R or I might stop updating.

They jumped in. A pink light surrounded them. They all held onto Yumi fearing that if they let go they'll be lost in this place, stuck between worlds without a way back. It felt like forever before they landed onto a flat surface. Natsu opened her eyes first. She stood up looking around for a way up.

"The vines behind you might help"- said a voice, Natsu recognized it to be Kaze's. The others were already opening their eyes.

"Wow, the well sure has changed. Anyway we need to keep out guard up, we never know when a demon might strike us. Let's get our weapons"- suggested Fushigi. When they were all ready they slowly started climbing up the vines, they were scared and they all knew that but still denied it. Only after a mere minute they were out. They all looked around in awe. Surrounding them was a beautiful forest, living in a city all their lives and never seeing a forest except the one in their backyards this was a blessing. Suddenly Kaze started sniffing the air. It was a sent. A demon. It was close, really close. He was confused, the sent was everywhere, and it was as if the demon was stretched all the way around them.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" they all heard a cry. Fushigi was the first to turn around. Yumi was lying on the ground. A pool of blood was surrounding her; all of it was coming from her right shoulder that had a huge gash on it. Behind her was standing Naraku.

*** Enter the Inu gang***

They were all sitting around the fire in Kaede's hut. Suddenly Inu Yasha smelled blood and Naraku's puppet. He stood up and ran out of the hut.

"Inu Yasha where are you going?"- asked confused Kagome.

" Blood lots of it and Naraku"- said Shippou.

" Blood? … Naraku? … This can't be good"- said the monk that we now know as Miroku as he ran out of the hut. Sango and Kagome looked at each other grabbed their weapons and ran out of the hut. Shippou somehow found him self on Kagome's shoulder and now fully transformed Kirara (Yes this IS how you spell it but it's pronounces K-I-L-A-L-A. Weird I know) was carrying Sango towards the direction the sent of blood was in.

***The well***

By now they were all fighting. All of them were inexperienced. They have never actually fought, only trained. Soon Kagura and Kanna arrived. Fushigi knew that that was his mother and everyone understood that. They all noticed that she wasn't really fighting. They knew she had more power then that. They've all seen her fight when they were attacked by a bear demon. They were all young the, barely 4 but they all remembered. Their parents were all fighting. Each of them had an opponent and all were demons. Only them they did not realized that those were demons. They thought they were humans in costumes, heck they didn't understand anything until now. Kagura summoned up her Dance of Blades ( I don't remember her attacks sorry If I'm wrong) throwing them at Fushigi. She was now curious, his sent was the same as hers but had a little bit of Sesshoumaru's in it.

She wondered if that was ... Nah … her mind said as she threw another set of Wind Blades at Natsu. The girl fell back hitting her head on the trunk of a nearby tree.

" Natsu"- shouted Sou. He was injured like the others. He felt power… destructive power on his left hand. Kazzana was the first thing that came to mind. His dad explained everything about it but the only thing he forgot to mention was that Naraku had something against Kazzana … Hell wasps ... (that's what their called in manga so I'll stick to that) Sou set up (he was on the ground) slowly taking the beads off his left hand off. Soon he unleashed Kazzana. Everybody on his side ran or crawled behind him so they wouldn't be sucked in as well. Just then the Inu gang arrived. Naraku unleashed the wasps. Sou was sucking everything in, including the wasps. His body was shot with electricity. Natsu who was now conscious crawled on all 4 to him.

"Noooooooooo"- she screamed as Sou sealed his Kazzana and fell to the ground. Natsu was crying. Yumi stood up, barely able to stand still her aura was glowing baby blue. She was mad, anybody with his or her eyes working could tell. Suddenly the sword at her side pulsed. She looked at it confused the took it out of it's sleash, the old, rusty looking sword transformed into a beautiful white fang. Inu Yasha looked in disbelief but wouldn't you; imagine seeing a duplicate of the sword that supposed to the only one in the world. Yumi was holding her blade pointing at Naraku. She knew she could not hurt Kagura or Kanna; they were her family after all. She launched at Naraku, running as fast as her human legs could take which was pretty fast. Suddenly Kanna disappeared only to reappear beside Natsu to start sucking her soul out. Natsu who now was paralyzed could do nothing. She was just going to except her fate when a giant boomerang cut through the air and an arrow filled with miko energy was hot at the mirror releasing the soul the mirror held.

`Mom' was the only thing Natsu thought before she blacked out completely on top of Sou. A figure approached them. It was Sango. The 2 people lying in front of her looked a lot like her and Miroku. She also noticed that they wore weird clothing, which indicated that they were not from this time. `Could it be...' thought Sango.

She shook her head; there was no way that those two were her children, no way. Kagome ran toward Sango who was just standing there.

`What is she doing' thought Kagome. Now Miroku was battling Kagura and Inu Yasha was running towards Naraku. The girl who ran beside him was showing every sign of frustration there was. Her sword began glowing Blue and she attacked…

Please don't hate me for the cliff hanger and for not updating for soooooooo long but 7th grade is harder then I THOUGHT.
