A/N: This little one-shot is for my dear friend Witchygoddess10. She gave me the idea and I just ran with it. It’s probably not exactly like she expected but I hope she likes it. Of course there is a lemon scene as well as a little B&D but I don’t think it’s that bad ^.^ I hope you enjoy it.

“Where the hell is Kagome anyway? She was supposed to be back yesterday” Inuyasha huffed, slightly irritated.
“I’m sure she’ll be back any minute Inuyasha” Miroku tried to reassure the hanyou.
“Yeah, I’m sure she’s just had some test she forgot about or something” Shippo chimed in sitting on the floor next to Kirara.
“Inuyasha . . . don’t tell me that you miss Kagome?” Sango giggled.
“Keh . . . yeah I miss her detecting the jewel shards. She’s the only person who can sense them and we haven’t been looking for days now” Inuyasha scowled and folded his arms in front of him sitting against the wall of Kaede’s hut.
“You can be such an idiot sometimes Inuyasha. I’m surprised she ever comes back thanks to you” Shippo’s comments only irritated Inuyasha even more.
“Just shut up Shippo before I shut you up permanently” Inuyasha glared at the kitsune balling his hands into tight fists.
“Well I’m only telling the truth. First it was the whole Kikyo thing . . . now you’re only worried about finding your precious shards. I think you keep running Kagome away. If it wasn’t for you, she would probably never leave” Shippo whined as tears formed in his eyes.
Inuyasha knew that the Shippo was missing Kagome as much as he was but he couldn’t deal with the kitsune mouthing off and he had to continue his act for the others.
“Whatever, I’m just going to go to the well and wait for her. If she takes to much longer, I’m going in after her” Inuyasha growled.
Before anyone could say anything in return, Inuyasha was out of the door and off into the trees of the forest. Inuyasha couldn’t admit it to others, but the truth was he really did miss Kagome a lot and hated being away from her now. As much as Kagome pleaded with Inuyasha to tell the others about them, Inuyasha thought, in the meantime, it would be safer to keep their blossoming relationship a secret for now. This also meant playing the part, which he was finding to be very difficult especially when he was back in the hut when all he wanted to do was hold her and make sure she was safe. He promised Kagome that he would wait patiently for her to return. She wanted nothing more than to take him with her but knew it would be difficult to study and get her school work done and she desperately needed to pass her tests. But Kagome said she would be back that morning and here it was now the evening. Inuyasha jumped down from the tree he was standing in and paced back and forth in front of the well. He had to make a decision. Either continue to pace and wait for her to return or jump in the well and get her which could possibly lead to an angry Kagome and that could lead to a barrage of the ‘S’ word that he wasn’t looking forward to. She hadn’t been sitting him at all except occasionally to keep up appearances but never when they were alone. Surely she would change her mind about that once he showed up to get her. The thought made Inuyasha grimace and flinch. The fact that he was more worried about her trumped being sat into oblivion so he sighed and leaped into the well.
As the light faded he found himself at the bottom of the well in Kagome’s time, quickly he jumped out and heading to the shrine. As he was approaching the shrine, he couldn’t help but notice that it was considerably warmer in Kagome’s time. He proceeded to remove his fire rat robe as he wiped the sweat from his brow. When he got even closer, he noticed that all the lights were out in the house except for one. While it was evening, he knew it wasn’t so late that everyone should be sleep. Slightly more worried than before, he got to the front door and rang the bell. He got no answer, so he rang it again. Still not getting an answer, he thought about just breaking down the door but remember that Kagome usually left her window open. He hurried around to Kagome’s window jumping through it and into her room.
“Kagome . . . Souta . . . anybody?” Inuyasha spoke loudly as his feet hit the hardwood floor.
He looked around the dark room and noticed that Kagome wasn’t there. In fact her pink ruffled comforter was still in its place on her bed as well as her pajamas.
‘She must be here’ Inuyasha thought as he dropped his robe and sniffed the room picking up her scent. ‘Yeah, she’s here. But I don’t smell anybody else and she definitely isn’t studying. So what’s the big deal making me worry and wait?’ he thought not liking the idea that Kagome may have actually gotten so busy that she had forgotten about him.
Then he smirked as an idea popped in his head and looked at the closet. ‘The red book . . . that’s how I’ll make that wench pay for making me wait. I know just what to do.’ He followed her scent out of the room and down the hall to the bathroom.
The door creaked as he opened it peeking in to find Kagome soaking in the white porcelain tub. Her hair was pinned up and her eyes closed as her head rested against the back of the tub.
‘No wonder she can’t hear me.’ Inuyasha noticed the earphones and the mp3 player laying on the light green tile. Inuyasha slowly entered, quietly walking toward her. She was still oblivious to his presence in the room. As he stood in front of the tub, he looked down at Kagome and smiled. ‘How can I stay mad at her . . . she’s so beautiful. No. . . I will make her pay before the night is over’ his smile turning into a cocky smirk. Slowly he untied his shirt, dropping it as he kneeled on the side of the tub. He moved in closer to Kagome who was still unaware of her hanyou only inches away from her. Inuyasha closed in until his bare chest was gently pressed against the cold tub. He captured her lips with his own causing Kagome to jump and open her eyes thrashing slightly in the water, then relaxing once she realized the lips she was kissing she had kissed before, her wet arms wrapping around his neck pulling him even closer. Inuyasha broke the kiss leaning back slightly to look into Kagome’s eyes.
“I scared you huh?” Inuyasha gave her a toothy grin, his fangs hanging over his lip.
Kagome glared at him, the corner of her mouth turned up. “Well, what did you expect. One minute I’m all alone minding my business. The next thing you know I’m being kissed when I know I specifically asked you to stay in the feudal era.”
“Keh . . . that maybe be true but you also said you would be back a day ago. So you didn’t keep your word either” Inuyasha glared back with that same grin on his face.
Kagome just sighed and gave in knowing he was right.
“Besides you had me worried and the damn kitsune kept rubbing it in. I just couldn’t take it anymore. I had to see you Kagome because I really missed you” he smiled not wanting to reveal his plans yet.
“Oh Inuyasha, I really missed you too. I’m sorry I made you worry but I didn’t know I was going to have a test today. So I had to go to school and when I got home my mom told me that she, Souta and my grandfather were going to my aunt’s house. So I just figured I could get a nap and then I woke up and wanted a bath to help me relax before I had to come back” Kagome tried to explain.
“Relax huh?” Inuyasha said with a smirk splashing around in the bath water with his fingers. “Well do you think that you’re relaxed enough yet because I’ve got something to show you?”
“Something to show me?” Kagome looked puzzled.
“Yeah . . . ” Inuyasha smiled and lifted her out of the bath, carrying her out of the bathroom and to her bedroom.
Kagome blushed and nuzzled close trying to stay warm. “I’m cold Inuyasha. Couldn’t you have given me a towel?”
“Oh don’t worry, you won’t be cold for much longer” Inuyasha smirked his amber eyes glinted with a hint of mischief.
Kagome had never seen this look before and his smirk turned into an impish grin as he walked across the threshold of her room. As he laid her on the bed, he hovered over her and lowered close to her face his warm breath chilling her damp skin.
“Now stay put like a good little girl” he shifted his weight off of the bed and walked over to her closet pulling out some long pieces of twine.
Kagome turned her head to see what he was up to. “Inuyasha, what is the rope for and how did it get in my closet anyway?” Kagome was even more confused not remembering how the rope got there in the first place.
“I brought it up here from downstairs. I thought it would be useful for something I read about” his voice was low and sultry.
“...” Kagome stared at him hoping he wasn’t talking about what she thought he was talking about. What would Inuyasha know about that? Then her eyes widened when she realized that the book that Eri gave her was also in her closet. Inuyasha slowly walked over from the closet, the bundle of thin twine in his grasp.
“Inuyasha, what else have you found in my closet?” Kagome rose up to sit giving him a look.
“Oh I bet you mean that interesting red book I read. Not really like your other books now is it? What exactly are they teaching you at school? No wonder you keep coming back so often to go to school” Inuyasha teased knowing that it wasn’t a school book. With his trademark smirk, he gently caressed her arm making his way down to her wrist taking it into his hand readying the twine in the other.
“I don’t know if this is a good idea Inuyasha. I mean the book was just a joke from Eri. Do you even know what you’re doing?” Kagome was nervous never really reading the book herself only skimming through it.
“Well I think I know what I’m doing and I figure you need to be punished for not returning like you said you would . . . making me worry. Besides, don’t you trust me Kagome? You know I would never hurt you right?” he slowly tied her hands together behind her.
“I...Inuyasha . . . I know you would never hurt me, but . . . ” Inuyasha held a finger to her soft pink lips cutting her off.
“Shhh, no more talking. You know you’re curious and you know I wouldn’t hurt you plus you owe me so just relax ok?” He pulled Kagome over his lap, gently rubbing her round bottom.
Kagome did as she was told knowing she couldn’t argue her way out of this if she wanted to. But to tell the truth, she wanted to see what Inuyasha was going to do. Inuyasha smirked and ran his claws gently across her bottom causing Kagome to gasp at the feel. Without warning, Inuyasha gave Kagome a firm slap on her bottom.
“Inuyasha, what was that for?” Kagome jumped startled at his actions.

“So does this mean that I’m forgiven?” Kagome’s soft hand grazed his cheek.
“Yeah, I guess I’ll forgive you” Inuyasha smiled back, giving her a gentle peck on the lips. “Just promise me you won’t make me worry like that again. I care about you so much Kagome. I don’t know what I would do if I ever lost you” he spoke softly as he ran his fingers through her silky raven locks.
“Ok . . . I won’t make you worry” Kagome looked at the clock on her night stand. “Oh, I didn’t realize how late it was. Were we supposed to be going back to the feudal era tonight?”
“Don’t worry about it. We’ll just go back in the morning” Inuyasha continued to play in her hair.
Kagome sighed contently and closed her eyes slowly drifting to sleep, her nude form pressed against his. Inuyasha looked at his sleeping miko.
‘I love watching her sleep. She looks so peaceful and beautiful’ Inuyasha thought as he slowly couldn’t resist the heaviness of his eyes closing them. ‘I love you Kagome. I always have . . . and I always will’ That was his last thought as he slowly drifted off into his own slumber.

“Inuyasha, what was that for?” Kagome jumped startled at his actions.

Inuyasha carefully began to cut away the twine with his claws pulling all the twine away, freeing Kagome completely from her bindings. Kagome turned to him and got as close as she could to nuzzle him. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him kissing her forehead, then her nose, finally kissing her lips deepening the kiss. As Kagome broke away, she looked into Inuyasha eyes and smiled.
“So does this mean that I’m forgiven?” Kagome’s soft hand grazed his cheek.
“Yeah, I guess I’ll forgive you” Inuyasha smiled back, giving her a gentle peck on the lips. “Just promise me you won’t make me worry like that again. I care about you so much Kagome. I don’t know what I would do if I ever lost you” he spoke softly as he ran his fingers through her silky raven locks.
“Ok . . . I won’t make you worry” Kagome looked at the clock on her night stand. “Oh, I didn’t realize how late it was. Were we supposed to be going back to the feudal era tonight?”
“Don’t worry about it. We’ll just go back in the morning” Inuyasha continued to play in her hair.
Kagome sighed contently and closed her eyes slowly drifting to sleep, her nude form pressed against his. Inuyasha looked at his sleeping miko.
‘I love watching her sleep. She looks so peaceful and beautiful’ Inuyasha thought as he slowly couldn’t resist the heaviness of his eyes closing them. ‘I love you Kagome. I always have . . . and I always will’ That was his last thought as he slowly drifted off into his own slumber.
