InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ The Restoration ❯ Kagome Returns ( Chapter 1 )
[ A - All Readers ]
{Fuedal Era}
The afternoon sun beat down upon the woodland of Inuyasha, giving light to the few who may have passed through it.
One such traveler was a houshi, a staff with several rings atop a larger ring clanging as he trudged onward.
His attire consisted of simple monk wear--a darkblue robe, with a purple sash reaching from his right shoulder to his waist and back.
Deep brown eyes held mystery within them as the twenty - one year old male stopped by a river, where a female of about eighteen was waiting with a small fire koneko
at her side.
"I haven't spotted Inuyasha at all today, Sango. Do you think the rumors could be true?" the monk, known as Miroku, asked.
Brown eyes looked into the monk's as Sango said,"That may be so. But we would have already reached word if he had already attacked a neighboring village, ne?"
This confused Miroku more as he sat down next to his female companion, looking down as the koneko demon known as Kirara and sighing.
Sango wore traditinoal women's clothes of the current era--a pink kimono with dark pink spots, along with a green apron. A giant boomerang was placed beside her,
known as the Hirakatsou. Kirara rested in her lap, tan with black strips and six or seven tails. Red eyes stared up into her owner's, mewing as she was petted.
"Ever since Kagome left things have been drastic." Miroku said, only to be answered,"It was for her own good, Miroku. She was almost killed every time Inuyasha caught her scent."
Sighing once more, both monk and taijaaya stared either at the ksy or into the confiens of the river.
{Present Era}
The seventeen - year old female crossed the street onto the sidewalk, brown eyes set on the ground as she thought deeply. A typical girl's
uniform adorned her average frame, only the skirt was red, along with the tie and neck piece. An average skin tone hit up against long black hair, slightly longer from two
years ago. This was Kagome--and her mind had wandered to the Fuedal Era once more. Sighing, she quickly shook the thought off and, holding the large yellow backpack, began to walk
onto the grounds of her home.
As she looked up, something strcuk her--a strange but familiar feeling, as if something was calling her. As if her feet had a mind of their own, she began to walk the familiar path towards the shrine,
and the well. Stopping at the door, she slowly opened it and looked at the well, which was currently giving off a faint aura. Approaching it slowly, Kagome was only a few inches from the edge when the aura blazed.
Gasping, she tried to turn and run, but something held her back. Grabbing her, she was thrown into the well by something, as she passed out from the trauma.
