Introduction

It was always the same. The same faces, the same screams, the same tears, the same fingers covered in blood being pointed at him. The same horrid feeling of being ripped from his body, but every now and then the dream would be different. Out in the distance, behind the smoke and the large burning buildings, there was always a silhouette of several people. A light of purity glowed behind them. And in every dream the same thing would happen. A quick glimpse of the people behind the shadows would show itself, just enough to tell they were human or at least looked like they were, but not ever enough to get the details of their faces. No matter how hard he would look, he would never be able to decipher the images presented to him.

Sandro woke with a start, and drenched in a cold sweat. "Crap, I can't believe I fell asleep!” he shouted. It had been nearly 20 years since he last slept, he had potions to keep him awake and feel refreshed so he would never tire, “I really need to do something about forgetting to take my potions." He pushed his chair back and stretched. The time to bring an end to the criminal Naraku was near, he could sense it.
