Disclaimer:I do not own Inuyasha and the gang, got it? =D
A/N:Oh, I AM thinking of writing a chapter and realesing it on the last day of school (in eight days exactually, starting tomorrow of course) and then MAYBE one the next day for the celebration of the first day of summer... Let me know what ya'll think alright? I need to hear some voiced opinions. ;D

Getting wet isn't always fun...

She was in the forest now, but everywhere she turned there were green leaves and wet brown bark. "Inuyasha!" She cried into the emptyness around her. She took off, heading for what was infront of her, into the darker trees, which ment deeper into the forest.
The tree branches attacked her face, skin, and clothes. Blood surfaced but still she ran. He was no where to be found.
Kagome finally stopped and fell to her knees with her back to a tree. Now she was lost. She was alone in a forest full of hungry and killer demons, ones that wouldn't give a second thought to shedding her blood.
So she let go of her tears. She would never see her family again and she would never see her friends again, but the thing that supprisingly hurt the most, was the fact that she would never see Inuyasha again.
Never.

________

She had never noticed how much the wind blew at night and how dark the sky could get. But then again, it wasn't always butterflies and rainbows right? But she had NEVER felt this alone. Ever, and it confused her. She didn't love him, but she didn't hate him. She was just, in a mix up.

She sighed, then she thought back to when the were in the closet. She couldn't say that she DIDN'T enjoy the kiss, because she sorta did, but that had been her FIRST kiss. And she didn't even get a say in it. But, hadn't it been light before? Then, damn! How long had I been out?

"Roughly eight hours." The voice sounded from above her and she jumped about six feet in the air.

I hadn't realized I had spoken aloud... Woops.

She looked around but saw nothing. Not a flash of silver or red, no soft looking ears that were just BEGGING to be stroked. And she felt the tears welling up again, but of course, you couldn't tell because of the rain that had decided that this was a perfect time to give the soil a good shower, or maybe it was just crying WITH her. That, sadly, didn't make her feel any better...

"Inuyasha?" She called through the wind and rain, but once again, no reply. So she let the soft water dropplets land on her already chilled skin and slumped over. Her side hit the muddy ground and she closed her eyes. It didn't matter if Inuyasha left or not, if he was even really there, she simply let the thick blanket of darkness wash away her pain.

---------------

Heat. It was everywhere. Stiffiling almost, but she was comfortable. Well, as comfortable as you can be in a breathing furnace. Wait. Breathing?!

She fought to pull back here eye lids and peer into the face of his personal little heater, but she couldn't She just couldn't. She could feel the hard, calloused hands stroking her hair softly and nuzzling her neck every so often, but she couldn't see. And it bothered her very much.

"Kagome..." She heard the person mutter. His voice was husky, yet soothing. "If I tell you I'm sorry will you wake up? C'mon baby, I know you can hear me." That alone caused her lids to snap open. But the moment she did, she regretted it badly. Throwing her fists up to cover her eyes she groaned.

"Turn off the lights!" A few seconds later and the blinding bulbs had been doused. She squinted into the darkness and it pleased her that she could see without pain, even if she couldn't make out the sharp detals.

She tried to sit up, but with no luck. Something was holding her down. She felt sick to her stomach and the room suddenly felt too hot. The sheets of her bed stuck to her skin and she kicked them off the best she could. Her hair was matted to her face and she could practically feel the knots in her once shiny and smooth hair.

She could almost smell the dirt and grime the had resided in her clothes, hair, and skin. Her throat was dry and everytime she swalled it was like she was choking down sandpaper.

"I need a bath." She groaned. But she jumped in shock when she was picked up off the bed and was taken out of her room and into the bathroom. She listened as she alowed herself to be carried. The faint clicking of a remote proved to be her brother playing his video games. And the clanking of pots and pans from the kitchen downstares was her mother. Her grandfather yelled something at the the tv but was hushed by her mother. She glanced down and couldn't help but smile as she say the fat ball of fluff known as Byou trotting as fast as his little legs could carry him, trying to keep up with her.

She was set down lightly and leaned her back against the dark brown cabnets as her carrier turned to the tub and drew water just as her Mother had shown him. Inuyasha. She instantly turned to run out the door but was stopped when he grabbed her and started pulling off her socks, skirt, and shirt, leaving her only in her bra and underwear.

She pulled her arms up to cover her chest but he was too quick. He grabbed hold of the clip on the front of the material and stared at it long and hard. How the hell was he suppose to remove this thing? Actually, a better question... what fuck was it?

He grunted and looked up at Kagome with a frown on his face. "Take it off." He ordered.

Her eyes widened and she pulled away from him. "No!"

He glared and growled at his mate. "You can take it off, or I can slice it off." He flexed his fingers as an example.

Her hardened eyes stared him down and she finally sighed, turned her back to him, and unclipped the bra. She tossed it to her side and covered her now bare chest.

What she didn't expect though, was Inuyasha picking her up and dragging her to the filling tub. He quickly disgarded her underwear and put her in the tub.

Ignoring the look she was giving him, he patiently waited until the tub was full enough before shutting off the pump thingie, whatever it was called. He didn't really care.

He grabbed her and pulled her towards him as far as she could get with the side of the tub seperating them. "Hold your breath," was his only warning as he dunked her. When he pulled her back up, she came sputtering and drentched.

"What the fuck--" Was all she could get out before he pushed her under again.

The process repeated itself a few times before Kagome finally found the pattern. Everytime he pulled her out she would say something that was ment to insult him so he would drown her once more. She, after the seventh time, decided that she needed to breath.

She said nothing and the satisfied Inuyasha smirked. He knocked off his two shirts and dropped them to the floor behind him. He knew that he was going to end up getting wet and if he could prevent a few items of clothing from being soaked, then he was happy.

He dragges his hands up and down her arms in a way of washing them off. He ignored the fluffy sponge Kagome's mom had given him. His hands worked muck better. As he predicted, Kagome fought him and he was as soaked as she was in only the first three minutes of attempting to bathe her.

"Hold still wench!" He growled in her ear before forcing her head under.

"YOU BAST-" under water again, but when she came up she just continued her ranting. "-ARD! LET M-" once more. "-E GO DAMMIT!" She was screaming at the top of her lungs and her voice was echoing all around the bathroom, causing the poor hanyou's ear to flatten against his skull in a pitiful attemp to save his ear drums.

A loud thump from upstairs caused Ms. Higurashi to jump and almost drop the pan that she had been washing.

She glanced up and couldn't help but smile. That friend of hers had taken on more than likely the biggest challenge of his life. But she congratudulated the boy with the simply adorable dog ear. He had guts she would give him that. And maybe he would succeed where others failed.

Hopefully this would not become another.... She shook her head and forced her thoughts away from that one time that had caused her the fright of her life.

Another thump and some more screaming. She smiled and giggled. She couldn't WAIT to see her grandchildren!

______________

That was a fun ending to write. Hehe. Sorry about the wait, I was done with the chapter, I just forgot to upload it. I had actually started and finished about five more chapters, just on other fanfics that I have been creating about Inuyasha.

I made one about Inuyasha becoming a full demon and another about a thought that had been taking over my thoughts for a few days, maybe weeks, but I didn't want to stray away until I had finished this story because I get distracted so easily that I would no doubt loose my focus and be telling everyone that I quit the story.

Which I did NOT!

But please tell me if you wish for me to go ahead and upload those chapters anyway. I think I would like a challange, keeping three stories alive. =D

I will finish this damn thing even if it kills me! (Which I hope it will not because then that would be a little dirastic don't yah think?)

Later,
Ashley.
