"Wow, he sure is rich..." Kagome stared in awe at Inuyasha Taisho's house. Working as a maid to support her education fees, Kagome comes from a not-so-well-off family. Infact, she's totally not well-off at all. Kagome lives with her mother and her uncle. Mrs. Higurashi, an old but wise lady, does not have the money to support Kagome anymore.Souta, Kagome's brother, is an extremly addicted gambler. Gambling all day long but runs when he has debts that are not returned. Recently, Souta engaged himself in the R-rated movie business, cheating young women. Kagome does not know of this but as a sister, Mrs Higurashi had no choice but to agree not to tell Kagome.

Kagome is a clumsy but a opmistic girl. Although she works as a maid and clean Mr. Taisho's house, she's not ashamed off her job. Instead, she smiles and has a new hope everyday. "I wonder what I should eat today..."Kagome mused. A sound of ceramics shattering broke through her list of food.

"Oh no, not again!!" Kagome yelled in frustration as she stared at the mess of china cups and plates. In a hurry to finish washing the toilet, she had thrown everything inside the cupboard and smashed it shut. Though the cupboard was still opened, she didn't manage to have to time as she ran off and hurriedly wash and clean the house. Finally the wooden cupboard dropped and the utensils dropped out. During the past few days, she had broken quite alot of things; a basket of eggs, a pair of specs, a whole set of precious wine, wine glasses and now THIS! For every mistake she pasted a post-it there and apologised, asking for Mr. Taisho to deduct the amount from her salary.

"Not that I think there's anymore money to be deducted from" Kagome smiled at her own joke but winced as the unmistakable sound of glass breaking echoed into her ears.

"Is my lunch appointment Mr. Oto for today?" Inuyasha Taisho asked his secretary as he flipped through the company's magazine for the month.

"Yes Mr. Taisho. You also have a meeting with Pres. Taisho and Mr Sesshomaru Taisho later on. Mrs Kagura Taisho called to inform that she will not be present in the meeting because she has another appointment to attend. That's about all." Kimi stole a glance at Inuyasha and went back to her book.

Inuyasha sighed. "If my old man catches you reading things not related to GD motors again, I can't help you anymore." Saying, he strode off.

Inuyasha Taisho, a rich boy. Forced married once but was divorced not long after. Inuyasha lives with his cousin, brother and sister-in-law, and his father. His cousin, a drummer named Kouga, had ran away from home after finding out the terrible truth that he was to help his cousin with the company. Although he is very close with Inuyasha, Kouga had never wanted to be tied down to a company like Inuyasha was. Inuyasha's brother, Sesshomaru married Kagura Raku a few years before Inuyasha married Kikyou Ede. His father, a person who believes in strict discipline, doesn't allows Inuyasha to run about like Kouga. So Inuyasha was put in charged of GD motors. A company selling cars. His father was the main president though people usually call Inuyasha president too. Sesshomaru went into another business and is now a ally of GD motors, AD motors.

This new maid he hired to clean his extra home was terrible. If not for the fact that she was terribly cute because she keeps writing notes, Inuyasha would have changed her long time ago. "I expect she has broken my vacum cleaner or something this time." Inuyasha smiled to himself before starting up the engine for his car.

"All done. Now it's time to go!" Kagome packed her things and prepared to leave the apartment. Passing through the carpark, Kagome started singing and dancing along to the music she's humming. A dull sound interrupted. Kagome ignored it. It wasn't long before Kagome realised the sound. Turning her head slowly, a car was charging at home. Kagome burried her head in her hands and squatted down before screaming loudly.

Parking his car, Inuyasha whistled the tune that always appear in his dreams. A girl screamed. Without a second thought, Inuyasha ran at full speed and saw a young woman squatting down screaming. A car was approaching and... it's not going to stop in time. Inuyasha jumped up and lift up the still-shaking woman and ran away. Surprisingly, he felt a sense of deja vu. He had done that before. And why does he have the feeling that it was the same girl he had saved?

Letting the young woman go as he observed her features. Her eyes were bright with unshed tears, nostrils quivering, and face pale from the scare,the young woman lifted a hand to her heart and let out a long breath. She was wearing a lime-green top and white shorts. Without warning, the woman jumped up at him and hugged Inuyasha around the neck. Inuyasha blushed furiously as he tried to shove her away.

"Oh thank you! I thought I was a goner. Phew, what can I do for you in return?" The woman's voice was famillar too. An image flashed through his mind. This woman wearing a Secondary School uniform was hugging him and he himself was actually wearing an "obiang" outfit. He used the word he learnt from the trip to Singapore. It meant that it was old-fashioned. He had two.. dog ears? His long silver hair was still intact, thank goodness.

"Hello? Excuse me?" The woman waved a hand infront of his face. Inuyasha pushed himself away from her as he snapped back.

"Oh... uh no thank you." Inuyasha gave her a smile and started to walk off. As confused as he was, he needed some time to think what was happening.

"Wait!" The woman ran up to him and held his arm. " I'm Kagome. This is my house number. I'm sorry I don't have a cell-phone. Call me if you ever need me." Smiling, Kagome skipped away.

Ka-go-me? Why does that name sounds so famillar too?

As the train went on, Kagome thoughts went back to what happened. She was sure for the moment that the man who saved her in the carpark had dog-ears. Atleast, for the moment. A sudden image flowed into her mind...

"Sis! It's coming!" Ginta yelled.

Kagome looked up and saw one of the...bird youkai heading straight for her. Shutting her eyes as she waited for the worse to happen, a voice intruded.

"Kagome!" Inuyasha used Tetsusaiga and slashed the youkai into two.

Kagome stared at Inuyasha for a moment before running up to him. "I was Scared!"

What's going on? Why does she know the name of the sword? Youkai? Isn't that impossible? Too many questions running through her mind. Staring at her sweaty palms, Kagome wondered, "Why does he have dog ear?..." Her thoughts faded away as she recalled. Jumping up and snapping her fingers, Kagome screamed out loud. The guy was her employee!! Then she realised that everyone was staring at her. Kagome's face turned bright red as she banged her fist with her forehead. Getting off the train, she began to walk home. Her mind was repeating the same questions over and over again. She almost walked straight past her house.

Turning the lock with the key in hand, Kagome could hear her mother crying. Running in, she found Mrs. Higurashi sitting on the floor sobbing.

"What happened Mama?" Kagome's eyes were clouded with worry.

"Nothing, Mama just had some dirt in my eyes, that's all." Mrs. Higurashi sniffed and started to get up.

Kagome rolled her eyes but helped her mother. "And you think I'm going to buy that? Where's Uncle?" Kagome asked, with a sense of forebording in her mind.

"Your uncle went out to-to-to g-g-gamble again." Mrs. Higurashi stutter out.

"Mama? Why are you stuttering? You're lying, and you know you can't hide it from me. Where's Uncle?" Kagome asked again, more firmly this time.

"He-he-he went to work. Don't talk to me like that. I'm tired. Good night, sweetheart." Mama kissed Kagome on the forehead and headed back to her bedroom. Kagome was beginning to get worried now. Uncle? Work? Somehow the two doesn't fit together....

Since the minute Kagome appeared, strange reminders keep flowing into his mind. Something about the ridiculous Shikon Jewel shards, Naraku and all that. Rubbing his palm against his forehead, Inuyasha couldn't work. The strange image of Kagome in that uniform was startling. He didn't know how to explain. He had a feeling his silvery hair and golden eyes weren't just an inheritance. It leads to something else. An image of Sesshomaru in a olden costume with a furry thingy hanging over his shoulder, his looks weren't different except for the crests on his cheek. The cresent moon was still on his forehead. Something was wrong. Terribly wrong.

Who's that girl?
