"Kagome. Kagome, are you alright?" It was Sango. They were in her bedroom. Looking around, she didn't see any signs of Inuyasha and Miroku.

"That.. that was a dream right?" Kagome's face was pale, her bed was drenched in cold sweat and her face showed one expression: fear.

"I'm sorry to tell; no that's not a fucking dream." Inuyasha walked in and sat on the floor with his arms folded.

"What makes you think that?" Kagome smiled weakly at Miroku who came after Inuyasha who winked at her.

" Apparently because I found out and remember everything, miko." Inuyasha teased her then frowned as she shivered. "Is it that cold?"

"No. I'm scared, Sango. What about Mama?" Kagome asked.

"I think Sango didn't explain to you clearly. This fifteen years you've been living, is a dream, a punishment from the kamis of the hell. You irritated them by quarreling in the middle of the night. It might seem like you reincarnated, but no because it's just an illusion. Once you go back, it will all fade away and only remain a stupid memory. You will return to your normal life. Mrs. Higurashi, your non-illusion mother, does not know of this and in that body you're still going to the feudal era everyday. We, in our physical bodies are still searching for Naraku. Now all we have to do is to practice and warm you up. After that, we'll go to Midoriko-sama's cave and ask her to open to time slip. Once you slip through, you will be reunited with the physical bodies. I don't know what mine is doing there. Nor does Sango know. We will continue the journey like before and Kagome, when you return to your time, you'll see your real mother again." Miroku explained.

Inuyasha closed his eyes and rested his head against the wall. Kagome just stared into the air. "So-So you're saying we're antiques?" Kagome finally said.

"Not really. Inuyasha is an old antique. Not you." Miroku smiled slightly, thinking Inuyasha was asleep. But he was wrong. Ending up with a loud bump on his head, Miroku sighed. "Come on. We need to practice before I get old enough to be a grandpa." Then Miroku smiled sadly. "Maybe I'll never live to that day after all."

"Why?" Kagome was curious.

"I have a wind tunnel. Each year, it gets bigger. One day it will become so big that it will suck myself in too."

"Come on." Kagome started to stand up. "I wouldn't want you dead." Kagome smiled. Sango frowned and started to hold Kagome, supporting her.

"Are you sure you can? You still look dazed." Sango commented.

"I'm fine." Kagome brushed her worry off.

"What does this useless piece of shit do?" Inuyasha swung the un-transformed Tetsusaiga around.

Miroku sighed. He lifted a hand to Inuyasha's forehead, closed his eyes and prayed. Finally, he lifted his hand away to see Inuyasha falling to the ground with his hands covering his nose. His ears had grown out, claws and fangs were all out. "Are you alright?" Miroku asked.

"Fuck you! Making my mind jumble up with all those memories flowing back at once. My fucking head is hurting now. The smells are so fucking damn weird here." Inuyasha scrunched up his nose and tried to use the piece of skin between his mouth and nose to try and cover his nostrils.

Miroku sighed and walked over to Kagome. Doing the same thing to Kagome, he lifted up his hand and prayed. Putting away his hand, anyone could see that Kagome was smarter than Inuyasha. Apparently, Kagome had tried to piece the things before they get jumbled up in her mind while Inuyasha had let everything in at the same time.

Kagome aimed an arrow at one of the trees. Closing to a tree as an aim, Kagome let go. It didn't hit the exact mark but it was almost. Her miko powers were back. Smiling satifactory, Kagome glanced at Inuyasha and gave him a can-you-do-it look. Inuyasha "keh"ed and pulled out Tetsusaiga. It immediately transformed and Miroku smiled. Frowning in concentration, Inuyasha raised an eyebrow and lifted Tetsusaiga and placed it on his shoulder. "There's no fucking demon here." Inuyasha placed the sword back into the scabbard.

"I think it's enough like this." Miroku commented. "Come on, let's go and find Midoriko." Miroku held Sango's hand and started going. Kagome stared awkwardly at Inuyasha to find him gazing at her wistfully. Blushing deeply, Kagome ducked her head but not before Inuyasha saw her blush. Grinning, Inuyasha grabbed her hand and held it. Kagome gasped though she didn't try to pull away. They didn't notice two people looking at them, smiling secretly.

"You didn't take long, Inuyasha." Midoriko's sound echoed through the cave once they stepped into it. "Now all you have to do is to return to the time slip when I finish with you. Collect the jewel shards and defeat Naraku. Once the jewel is whole, as long as Kagome keeps it pure, there is no danger. The method to purify the jewel is for Kagome and Miroku to pray hard and join hands together. Inuyasha shall sit behind Kagome and Sango, behind Miroku. Inuyasha will place his hands on Kagome's back while Sango will place her hands on Miroku's back. All of you will then wish your own wishes which all will be granted. The jewel will turn completely white. I will then be free. Once I leave the jewel, it will be transparent. Just an empty shell." Midoriko explained.

After a long time, Kagome bowed. "Yes, Midoriko-san."

"Wait. Before you go, there's something I should warn you about. Your fake bodies have disappeared 5 years ago. Kagome, you have been reported by your mother to the police. People are now searching for you all over the world. Kagome, all your formal arrows and bows, shards, and back pack is in your home now. Your real home. I mean. Now hurry up. My soul will vanish if you do not complete and purify the jewel in 2 years." Midoriko's voice faded.

"It suddenly seems so high." Kagome looked into the well and commented.

"Keh, don't be so weak, wench. Naraku's way scarier." Inuyasha snorted.

Kagome eyed him a glower. "Fine. I'll prove to you." She jumped into the well, closed her eyes and waited for the worse. Instead, a blue aura erupted around her and she was soon back to 500 years ago. Inuyasha came too, followed by Miroku and Sango.

"Wow, it's like nothing's changed." Kagome looked around in awe.

"Which fella dares to disrupt Inuyasha's forest?" an old voice sounded.

Kagome remembered the sound. "Lady Kaede!!" Kagome squeal in delight and quickly climbed up the well, stepping on Inuyasha in the process. She jumped up and went to hug Kaede. "I missed you so much!"

"What happened to ye for the last five years?" Lady Kaede asked.

"Long story. Kaede-sama, we're in a rush. I'll tell you when we get back." Miroku assured her.

"WAIT!" Kagome shouted.

"What?" All of them asked in unison.

"Can I go-"

"NO WAY WENCH!" Inuyasha yelled at her.

"Osuwari." Inuyasha crashed to the ground with a loud curse. "I'll be back in 2 days. Bye!"

Kagome landed and look up. It's the well house. Climbing out, she looked out and saw her Mother sweeping. Mrs. Higurashi was pale and look so sick. "MAMA!" Kagome rushed towards her.

Mrs. Higurashi looked up. Eyes widening, she opened her arms as Kagome ran into her. "Mama, I'm so sorry to have you worried. I didn't disappear at all. How long was I gone?"

"Five days." Mrs. Higurashi replied. Kagome was stunned. Didn't Mirdoriko said it was 5 years?

"Wasn't it five years?"

"What are you saying, darling? Do I look like someone 5 years older?" Mrs. Higurashi asked as she wiped away her tears.

"Why did Sango and Miroku came through the well too?" Kaede asked. "And why is Inuyasha in that manner off attire?"

"Shut up, old hag." Inuyasha snapped and went outside. Suddenly the flapped opened again then Inuyasha came in. "Where the fuck are my fire rat clothes?"

"Here." Kaede took it out. "I don't know how it came to be here. It just appeared."

"Did anyone miss us?" Miroku asked.

"What are ye talking about? Ye always go for a few months. It's only five days now."

"What are YOU talking about?" Inuyasha asked. "We were gone for more than 15 years!"

"Have ye forgotten to count, Inuyasha?" Kaede asked.

"No! It's true-"

"Let me explain everything, Kaede-sama." Miroku cut in. After repeating the story, an understanding dawned on Kaede.

"Inuyasha, ye have gone too far. Even the kamis can't stand you too." Kaede chuckled.

"Keh!" Inuyasha snorted. He lifted up the flap so roughly the whole thing dropped down. As he went out, Kaede frowned.

"Welcome back, Kagome."

"Thank you, ji-chan. Mama, I'm always gone for more than months and you were not worried. Why now when I was only gone for a few days?"

Mrs. Higurashi smiled. "Inuyasha didn't come for you. That was already a sign. Two days passed. After that, the Goshinboku's twigs started dropping and the barks and all that. Even the leaves dropped. Grandpa commented about it. There was something wrong about the lengendary hanyou and miko. Second sign. The last straw was when I dreamt that you were suffering. I reported to the police."

Kagome listened patiently. Slowly, she understood.

"Oh, and we're are going to Singapore." Mrs. Higurashi commented.

"Huh? Why?" Kagome asked.

"Inuyasha can come along too. Souta went to Singapore to study. We're visiting him."

"I'll try..." Kagome slumped her shoulders and headed upstairs for bed. Looking at her weapons and the last shard of the Shikon no Tama on the table, she smiled and fell asleep.

She didn't notice a wolf youkai staring at her through the window. She didn't notice when he kissed her on the forehead and tucked her in. She didn't notice when he left a sad smile.

"Kagome that bitch. I'll make her pay for the Osuwari!" Inuyasha yelled to nobody before jumping into the well.

Reaching Kagome's time, he sniffed around. "That's.... Kouga..." His eyes widened as he ran as fast as he can. Reaching Kagome's window, he opened it and sniffed. Kouga had been here. It's positive. He ran out to find the bastard.

"Inuyasha' coming." Kouga muttered to himself. "That stupid mutt-face."

"KOUGA!" Inuyasha yelled.

"What do you want, Mutt-face?" Kouga growled.

"I should be the one asking that, skimpy wolf." Inuyasha pull on Tetsusaiga. "Now bend over, because this thing is going to get shoved up your ass."
