As sweet as honey,
with eyes so melancholy.
What is the secret,
thy heart holds so dear?
Could it be, you see
our fates so clear?
Are you in a way,
attempting to save our hearts from pain?
If so, allow me to show,
all endeavors are in vain.
As proof, I bring you my heart,
bruised and bleeding by your acts.
I wish you would face the facts.
