CHAPTER 1: THE MOVE

 

BEEP! BEEP! BE... SMASH

 

Kagome threw the alarm at the wall

"Oops" Kagome said as she got up, got a towel and a change of clothes and went to have a nice hot steamy shower.

 

When Kagome was done she went down stairs wearing denim shorts and a tank top.

 

"hey Kagome can i talk to you for a minute" Anita (Kagome's mum) called from the lounge room.” what is it mum" Kagome asked while walking into the room."Umm well… we have to move. work transferred me to another office in Tokyo” when Anita finished kagome was furious that she had to move.

 

” But why mum, you know i just got into the cheerleading team and all my friends are here in San Francisco" kagome replied to her mum while trying not to yell at her.” I know honey but this is an offer i can't afford to miss.

 

I will be get $1000 a week, that's double of what i'm getting now" when Anita finished kagome was still disappointed so Anita said” just think, you could get better friends over there, than here and a boyfrie…”Anita didn't get to finish because kagome

interrupted her.” MUM don't even go there I could get a boyfriend over here to” ”yeah I know honey but you haven't had a boyfriend yet and your nearly finished high school”

 

kagome couldn't believe what she was hearing, how could her mother say that she has to get a boyfriend it's not her decision.

 

Kagome didn't want to argue with her mum so she asked” well… when are moving?” kagome asked” tomorrow” Anita replied to her daughter.” WHAT! You couldn't even give me a few days to say my goodbye's to everyone” “no I couldn't help it and don't speak to me in such a manor, I'm sitting right next to you. The school already knows and they will notify everyone there that are your friends and your teacher's also” Anita also said to kagome

 

” now go pack your clothes and other things in the boxes that are in the garage, the removers will get the other stuff” when Anita finished kagome went up to her room and slammed her door shut.

 

” this isn't fair” kagome yelled while folding and putting her clothes in the box's and some in her suitcase to use until the box's get to her new home in Tokyo. When kagome finished packing all she could into the box's it was 5:30p.m “kagome tea's ready” Anita yelled from the bottom of the stairs.” be down in a sec mum” kagome yelled back.

 

When kagome finished what she was doing, she went down for tea.” So what time does the plane leave?” kagome asked her mum.” at 9:30a.m so have an we will both be having a early night tonight” Anita replied to kagome.

 

When kagome finished her tea and helping her mum do some things around the house it was 8:30p.m so kagome decided to call it a night and so did Anita.” Night mum” kagome said to her mother.” night kagome sweet dreams” “you to mum” kagome replied to her mum. Kagome climbed into her bed, but before she called it a night she thought about what it will be like Tokyo” mmm I wonder how Tokyo will be. Wonder if I can make friends.etc” all these questions were in kagome's head but she just shoved them away and closed her eyes and went to sleep.

 

The next morning kagome was awakened by her mother.” kagome its time to get up. The plane will be leaving in 2 hours and we only have an hour to get there, NOW HURRY UP AND GET UP” Anita yelled at kagome who jumped up and fell on the floor with a loud thud.” I'm up” kagome said to her mother, who was now getting her daughters suit case down the stairs” good now hurry up” Anita replied to kagome who was walking to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

 

Kagome came out 10 minutes later wearing a baby blue skirt and finished up above the knee and a green shirt that said “don't mess with me” on it with thongs for her shoes.” Come on kagome your lucky we only live half and hour away from the airport” “yeah yeah I'm coming” kagome said to her mother.

 

Kagome and her mother got to the airport at 8:25 with 5 minutes to spare.” Right on the nick of time” Anita said to no one in particular.

On the plane kagome took a nap because she was still a bit sleepy and her mother was reading a magazine.” Kagome, kagome look out the window” kagome did as she was told and looked out the window, to her amazement she was looking down on Tokyo. It looked beautiful, lights everywhere.

 

When they landed kagome was happy to see Tokyo since this was her first time being there.

 

” Kagome come on, lets go get our bags and a cab to our new home” Anita said to her daughter who was amazed her self. When they got there bags and took the cab to there new home kagome and her mother loved there new home. It was a double story made out of bricks with an amazing front garden.

 

Kagome and her mother couldn't wait to go inside so they ran to the front door. When they walked in they were more amazed to its size, it had 1 large lounge room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, double garage and a pool out in the back yard.” Mum this is beautiful” kagome exclaimed to her mother” I know I love this house, and the best part about it is, its company house so I don't have to pay the rent”

 

When Anita finished kagome went up to her room and had and started to unpack some things from her suite case into her built in wardrobe.

 

When kagome ate dinner, washed up and went back in her room she had to sleep on a blow up mattress until her bed got there. When she finished blowing up the air mattress she laid down and went to sleep hoping tomorrow would go well at school.
