When Kagome got to her house, she did her usually rutine. Relax, Homework, Dinner, Shower, Bed.
Kagome could'nt get to bed so easliy that night though. 'I Wonder when Rin is coming back...I
really miss her, and I can't wait to interduce her to Sakura!'
Kagome smilied at that thought, and was able to sleep peacefully that night. The next day, Kagome woke up to her mother calling her, and she drowsily got out of bed to take a quick shower.
When she finised, she went to her dresser, and pulled out a short blue jean mini skirt, and a tight red shirt that said in black letters 'So Hott' in the front.
She then pulled out a blue jean jacket to finish the outfit. When she was done with her outfit, she decided to let her hair hang down, so she brushed
it untill it shined, and then headed down stairs to for breakfast.
When she was finished, her mother had
asked her if she would quickly drop Sota off at school, since he had missed the bus. Kagome had
groaned a bit, but her mother's stare told her to save it.
Kagome rushed Sota out of the house, mumbling something about' having to everything',' and always
being late for school'.
When she dropped Sota off, she dashed her way to the school, and when she arrived, she found a nice parking space, parked, and then jumped out, just as the bell rung.
Kagome breathed a sigh of relief when she finally made it to the doors. Kagome walked down the hallway to her locker, and when she got there, she put her bookbag in, and took out her Math book.
She walked to her class, and entered it just as the late bell rung. She saw Ayame sitting down, and looked as if she had been depressed lately.
She walked over to her dear friend, and when Ayame noticed her, she looked up, and put on the best smile she could make.
" Hey Ayame! What's with the sad face?" Kagome asked, trying her best to cheer up her friend. Ayame looked up at Kagome, and started to cry.
" Kagome! It was terrible! I had asked Koga out on a date, but all he did was laughed, and said that I was'nt his type, and that it would never work out!!!"
Ayame cried.
Kagome felt her heart clench at the sight of her best friend, sitting here crying, because a boy had rudely rejected her offer on a date.
Kagome started to swell up with anger, as she thought, ' Who dose that guy think he is?! He can't break my friends heart, and get away with it!!"
Kagome looked at her friend, and then gave her a big hug to comfort her. Kagome told Ayame not to worry, and that she would tell him who's boss.
Ayame cheered up at her friends effort to make her smile, and then told her thanks. When class finally started, Kagome noticed that Sakura was'nt in class today.
' Wonder were she is ' Kagome thought, as she started to take down notes. About ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door. When Mrs. Tokorome opened it, in stepped Rin.
Kagome and Ayame both stood up, and at the same
time, they shouted " Rin!! " Rin looked their way, and
smilied at them, before walking to them, after she handed the teacher an accuse note.
Kagome watched as Rin went to her seat, behind Ayame, and then turned towards them." Rin! " Kagome whispered as quietly as she could," Im so happy your back!"
Rin giggled, and then nodded her head before saying," Im so glad to be back." Rin then looked at Ayame, who seemed to still be pretty sad.
Rin's smile faded, and turned into a sad frown as she asked," Ayame, whats's wrong? Are you that dissapointed in seeing me again?" Rin asked with dramatic sorrow in her voice.
Ayame giggled loudly, causing the teacher to look back at her, and then turned back to her lesson. Ayame shook her head no, and then told her she would explain at lunck time.
Kagome had to giggled at Rin's little act, but had not giggled as loud. She was happy that Rin could cheer Ayame up, even if she did'nt know what the problem was.
She then sighed, and turned around to finish taking down notes, before she got too far behind in the lesson.
When lunch time came, Kagome, Rin, and Ayame all
got their lunches, before heading to the table were Sango was sitting alone.
" Hey Sango! " Rin said happily. Sango snapped her
head back at the fimilar voice, and then squealed when she saw who it was. " Rin! " Sango said, while giving her friend a big bear hug.
Rin returned the hug, before they all sat down, and began eating their lunch.

Auther Notes: OMG!! SO srry for the long waited update!! I have been out of town, and im just now getting back. I did'nt update before then, because I was really sick....blahblahblah! ANYWAYS, I was going to write more, and make the next chapter about Kagome's date with Sesshoumaru, but I decided to write it instead about Kagome, Sango, and Ayame, cacthing Rin up on the news about whats been going on so far. I loved the reviews, and will post the next chapter soon!! ^_~
