Irresistible...

Kagome smiled softly as she looked at the hanyou. Watching as he speaks with Mirok, he turns and catches her glance, In response to her stare, he gives her a smile and as if to torture her mind, he licks his lips.

Watching him do that she feels her body stirring and he can't help but raise an eyebrow in response. Somehow much to the surprise of the others in their small group of friends, an impish childlike quality erupts into Inuyasha's voice.

"All right Kagome?" He smirks at her and as she shoots a glare at him, he laughs.

"I'm fine Inuyasha..." She says and to which he knows better as moments later, he can't help but smile as she mutters something about, getting him alone.

Gesturing for Miroku to hold off a minute as he approaches her, He gestures for Shippo to go up and on ahead with the monk as he looks the young miko over. Her long legs moving from side to side, as if to hold something in, he knows it is not the need for the bushes, but by her scent alone…a need for him.

Not that he was going to say anything…but still…why resist the temptation.

"I heard that...."

"Heard what?" Kagome replies nervously due to his close proximity.

"You wanting to get me alone and do a few things."

"I didn't say that..." She flusters, her skin belaying the truth as she blushes red. Looking as she gets all shy around him, he smiles. "Whenever you want to be alone just say so..."

"Oh no...." Kagome stutters out, her features flushing like that of the setting sun now. Pink all over and her scent flourishing that he almost takes her right there.

Still, maintaining control of his demon side, he nods his head as if acceptance. His amber eyes belaying something else though, he returns to Miroku and Shippo, but not before, he comments one last time.

"You know where I will be if you need me..." He says in such a way, that Miroku and Sango look at Kagome with surprise and she can't help but wish the ground would swallow her up.

"Inuyasha..."

"Yes....?"

"SIT BOY!"

Speeding on ahead of him as he crashes to the floor, she hears Inuyasha's laughter and then a cry of pain as Sango wallops him.

"You've been hanging around that lecher to much."

"Sango...I'm hurt" Miroku starts to reply earning him a glare. She speeds up on ahead with Kirara and Shippo, as Kagome is muttering about idiot hanyous.

"You okay Kagome?"

"Yes...he is just so annoying..."

"Well isn't that one of the reasons why you like him so much?" She replies and Kagome can't help but look at her.

"I do not..."

"Yes you do Kagome don't deny it....you find everything about him..."

"Don't even say it Sango!"

Smirking a little bit, Sango swerves just out of reach as Kagome reaches to smack her friend upside the head. In the meantime she can't help but catch Inuyasha's eyes, and he gives her a little glare....but yet it seems different....it is followed by a smile of such wonder and happiness...

You know I don't know what it is

Catching her looking at him, Inuyasha gives her a wink and Miroku can't help but be proud.

"I'm proud of you Inuyasha!"

Whirling around, the hanyou looks at his friend with a dubious gaze. "For what?"

"For revealing your inner pervert."

"I AM NOT A PERVERT!" He roars, despite evidence to the truth. He chases after the monk causing everyone especially Kagome to look around elsewhere.

"I don't know them, Sango. You?"

"Uh uh" The slayer replies and as both keep walking they simply shake their heads.

"Is Inuyasha really your type?"

Don't you try and tell me that he's not my type

To Hide what I feel inside

When he makes me weak with desire

"I don't know Sango. He is completely the opposite of the type of guy that I usually go for, but yet...."

"Yet what?"

I Know that I'm supposed to make him wait

About ready to answer, Kagome is surprised as he whirls by running and swoops her up and off her feet.

"Inuyasha! Put me down!" She shrieks as she holds on tight. Leaping as he does from tree to tree, she starts to squeeze him in fear, for this is just like a roller coaster in her opinion. JUST WITHOUT THE SEATS!

About ready to sit him, he stops all of a sudden, upon a tree overlooking the village and smiles down at her as they have arrived at their destination.

"Hey Kagome, there is something I wanted you to see..."

Looking curious although at the same time extremely annoyed with him, she turns to look at what he is pointing to and she gasps at the sight.

"Inuyasha it's beautiful!"

But he's irresistible

Watching the view from high in the treetops, she spares a glance at him, and catches him looking at her, with wonder.

"Inuyasha?"

"I just want to see you as you are forever...make a memory of it..."

"Make a memory?"

"Yes something my mother taught me. To treasure a moment shared with someone...well you make a memory, you look and study and memorize every part of their feature at that moment. Then when something happens, and you need to cheer up....you call upon that memory..."

Kagome starts crying softly at his words. Thinking he had offended her, his doubts are blown away as she pulls him to her lips for a kiss that this time leaves him breathless.

"I shouldn't...I shouldn't love you so much Inuyasha...."

Don't you think I'm trying to tell my heart what's right

That I should really say goodnight

"Why shouldn't you love me...?" He whispers softly, confused at her words.

"Have you figured out the thing I asked you concerning Kouga?"

"No..."

"It's the same thing...."

"How can it be?" He asks her taking on this puppy look, that she tries to resist.

Maybe I'll tell him that I feel the same

that I don't want to play no game (No)

Cuz when I Feel his arms wrapped around me

"I can't answer that Inuyasha and you know it. For you to understand...you need to figure it out on your own." She replies as she leans into him. Her ear pressed against his heart, she feels it beating in a rhythm that matches hers. Avoiding his look of confusion and pleading, that irritates him.

"Answer me please Kagome....?"

"I can't...." She says over and over, digging almost to get even closer to his warmth. "Inuyasha when you can answer my question...then I can answer you...."

But He's Irresistible (Irresistible)

Hearing her words as his arms wrap around her slender body, Inuyasha lets out a low and annoyed grumble, for which she giggles softly. Together they look at the view as he seems lost in thought once more.

"Why would I need to think about my actions when Kouga is around?" He mutters to himself. Hearing his question, Kagome looks up at the perplexed face, and smiles.

"I should keep you confused more often..."

"Huh?"

"You look so cute with your face like that...."

"Really?" Inuyasha can't help but be shocked. He has never been thought up of as cute or gorgeous or anything.

"Not really. I was always called half-breed or scum remember..."

"That is most definitely what you are not!"

"I'm not a half-breed? But I am." He replies not understanding her terminology.

"How shall I put this...to me you are just Inuyasha....you are not a half breed, you are not human nor or you a demon...you are simply Inuyasha...."

Looking at her with a look that needs no words, Kagome catches her breath and leans up to feel his kiss.

Kissing her softly, Inuyasha feels the love growing for her. Still some thing troubles him. He wants to start over fresh with her. As if the way they first met had never existed. But still her only demand is for him to answer one single question....how does he feel when Kouga is around.

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why won't you answer my question...I want to start over."

"Why would you want to do that?" She asks him plainly.

Kagome looks at him with a reassuring gaze and smiles softly as her hand raises and starts to play with his ears.

"Besides what?" He asks her taking on this look of hopeful need. His growl low and pleasing as she hits the right spot on his ears.

"Besides I found you and your ears way to irresistible...." She smiles and looking at her a moment, as she starts to giggle, Inuyasha realizes and starts to laugh.

"So you love me and my ears...."

"You better believe it...I think you ears are your best feature...among other things...."

"I'm not telling..."

"Come on...."

"No Inuyasha..." She replies giggling as he takes on a petulant look.

"Please....?"

"Wench..."

"Why you S..."

"Before you say that look how high up you are...." Inuyasha replies slyly.

"Huh..." Remembering as she looks down, she leaps into his arms out of fear and he laughs.

"Inuyasha....?"

"Yes Kagome?"

"When I get down...you better run..." Kagome says, with a glint of revenge in her eyes

"Why...."

Glaring at him...he looks as Sango comes gliding by on Kilala, with an unconscious Miroku and Shippo upon the fire cat demon's back. Gulping as Sango offers his Kagome a hand, he starts to leap and he regrets it as he hears a loud and voluminous scream.

"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTT"
