"All right…now that my computer has been fixed…" Glaring at four certain individuals, who have been tied up as well as gagged. The other five simply shrug at their pleas for release.

"You did it to yourselves…" Simply mutters. "Stealing my notes…"

"Remind me never to make her cross…." Yuka says with a little nervousness. The others just nod their head and watch as Simply gets down to business…

Inubunny…-Yep…that is bad karma for them if Inuyasha isn't ready to face the world…and I understand about impatience believe me I do…as to Kouga…he will be in bits and pieces of the story…

Chapter 26

New enemies…New allies…New loves… Part 2

Tokaji looked up into the eyes of madness as he feels the knife press into his skin. Staring up he watches as his sister silently approaches from behind.

"I believe you have something that belongs to me…" He hears Hojo telling him and the knife begins to cut through. The blood starting to emerge from his skin, he begins to breathe a little harder, and is soon crying out in a mixture of relief and pain. His sister had succeeded in catching Hojo off guard and had been knocked out from a blow delivered to the back of his neck from behind.

"TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!"

"Oh shut up…" She replies as he struggles to get out from underneath the youth. Flipping him over, she shakes her head.

"Pity…"

"What?" Tokaji glares at his sibling as she starts to drag him towards some bushes. Once done, she grabs the knife that was clutched in his hand.

"Pity that he's crazy…he is kind of cute."

"You like any boy don't you!"

Glaring at her brother, she mutters some unladylike language that sends him into a fit of laughter. Whirling on him, she thinks of the first word that comes to mind.

"SIT and I don't like any boy…" She yells as he goes crashing to the ground. Stomping off as he laughs. She yells over her shoulder.

"Just wait till I tell Daddy what you said."

Hushing up, he prays for the spell to wear off. The second it does he is up and running after her.

"You wouldn't…"

"Try me…" She counters and the two are soon bickering back and forth as they head home with the camera firmly in their hands. Leaving an unconscious Hojo, hidden in the shadows…

The next day…early morningabout 5 am…

Hojo comes around and groans as he opens his eyes. Expecting to see the ceiling of his bedroom, and be curled up inside his bed, he is momentarily disoriented as he sees the blue sky and the greenery surrounding him. Remembering what happened last night, he immediately bolts upright. Regretting it only seconds later, he lays back down as he feels the lump on the back of his close to his neck.

"He must have had help." He mutters. Picking up on movement, he pulls back into the bushes and observes as a couple of older men jog by. Hoping he wasn't spotted for his outfit would be hard to explain, Hojo waits for a few minutes longer and then making sure the coast is clear, he gets up slow and starts to head back.

Reaching for the camera, he stops momentarily to scream in outrage.

"THEY STILL HAVE IT!"

Wanting to run back and look for it, but deep down knowing it is long gone Hojo rants and raves as he goes back home. But he stops momentarily as he fingers something else, in his pocket. Pulling out a picture of a young woman with jet black hair, he places a kiss to the woman's face.

" You will be mine Kagome even if I have to destroy all that you love to bring you to me I will take you for my own."

Looking ahead for another plan, he already starts thinking of the rumors, which will be spread to discredit not only her but the others in her life.

Yuka he knows he can not touch. Her father is the owner of one of the biggest companies in the country and owns half of Tokyo. Akira and the others though are free to attack. Thinking of ways to do so, he remains unaware for at this time a young man by the name of Isao Yasutake is registering at this moment to attend school the following day, with a similar plan in his mind.

Three hours later…

Inuyasha is stirring and as he opens his amber eyes, he awakens to find an arm wrapped around his waist and the softness of his angel next to him. Smiling as his claws run through the inky locks, he marvels in its thickness and its length. His eyes running down her soft skin and body as she lies next to him, he is still mystified as to why she would want him.

"Kagome…"

Whispering her name ever so softly, he is surprised as she has heard him a little bit. Her eyes opening with a dazed and satiated look, she gives him a sleepy eyed smile and curls back up into his body. He can't help but grin, as she attempts to let sleep overtake her once more.

"She is my angel…my light. How could I be so lucky? Me a filthy hanyou…"

Murmuring a little sound of disagreement, Kagome seems to respond although sleepily. "Not filthy…Inuyasha perfect…my Inuyasha…"

Not able to resist holding her close with that statement, his arms tighten around her form, and she almost purrs in delight. Giving off a little yawn, she snuggles back into him and once more they give in to the comfort and loving touch of one another's bodies.

As they sleep a spirit appears and smiles gently, followed closely by another. The spirits of the two wives of Lord Inutaisho smile in approval.

Having desired to be close to their sons and their families, both women smile and hug one another at the happiness the youngest has found within the arms of the miko from the future. Each one raises their hands to their lips and presses a kiss to their fingertips. The Spirit of Yukina, the mother of Sesshomaru, smiles warmly as her ghostly hands brushes both of their cheeks.

"May the spirits bless your hearts and unify your souls."

Izayoi, Inuyasha's own mother, looks down upon her son and the sleeping young woman, with a motherly sense of approval. Her hands brushes their cheeks as well, she bends down to place a kiss upon each one of their foreheads.

"May the spirits bless your love, strength, and courage."

Stirring softly as the two women bend down and start to glow with a white light, the young couple seems to sleep even harder at their presence. The marks that each woman has placed on their cheeks seem to disappear, and the two spirits smile in joy.

"The Spirits approve Yukina."

"They will be happy Izayoi…we have chosen well for both of our sons. Kagura for my son and Kagome for yours, Izayoi…" The demoness replies with a warm look. "Now we must pray and hope that our husband will be freed…"

"And given a chance to know his sons…" Izayoi finishes. Clutching her friend's hand, they both disappear to watch and help from the heavens. They know that soon they will be called and so they wait…

Two hours and a pounding on the door later…

An irritated hanyou and a grumpy young woman, stir as they open the door to their friends, Yuka and Akira who simply smile.

"Still sleeping Kagome…for shame…"

Sticking out her tongue at her best friend, Yuka walks with Kagome towards the kitchen as Inuyasha looks at Akira, with something akin to distrust.

"Well…after your little speech last time…what have you decided?"

"That you and Kagome both were right…we…Yuka and I have to work together as the two of you do…"

Nodding his head in acceptance, Inuyasha turns and his ears seem to perk at the smell of what he considers the food of the gods, RAMEN!

Heading towards it, he is halted as Akira asks him one question.

"How to you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Handle her risking her life day after day?"

"I thought I answered that…"

"You did…but still how do you do it…truly how do you handle it…?"

Inuyasha looks at the young man with a wry smile. "I don't… Every time I see her fight, I freak out…I am more worried for her safety than I am for my own or anyone else…it encourages me to fight stronger and faster to prevent anything from getting to her. She is still the reason that I am as strong as I am. With her mere presence and belief, I don't think I could have gotten to be as strong as I am today. Even though I don't want her involved… it was Kagome who saved my life, through her sheer stubbornness. Remind me later on to tell you about how she saved me and Shippo from the Spider head demons. I think that will best explain it to you…"

Satisfied with his answer, Akira nods his head and is about to say something else when both girls peek out of the kitchen door.

"Inuyasha, your ramen is ready." Kagome replies and giggles as this blur of red and silver goes flying by. Yuka, giggles as the sight of the hanyou being reduced to a eating machine as he shovels spoonful after spoonful into his mouth. Akira coming in close behind him, is about to ask, when Yuka hands him some bacon and eggs.

"Already head of you…" She whispers softly, and he can't help but give her a soft kiss in welcome.

"You know me well…"

As he sits down to eat both women watch as the men the love more than anything eat.

"Kagome?"

"Yes Yuka?"

"Is it just me or does this feel peaceful?"

"It feels peaceful Yuka…It feels peaceful." Kagome replied with a smile and soon both women began to eat as well.

Twenty to thirty minutes later, after sitting and chatting with one another as they ate, Inuyasha stands up and flexes his muscles.

"Ready for another round…?"

Yuka sighs. "As much as I would like to say no…I am just please no more into the tree…that hurts."

Inuyasha chuckles as he goes outside with her following him. "I shall see what I can do."

Watching as the two go out and soon the sounds of a fight are commencing, Akira looks to Kagome, who starts cleaning up.

"When…?"

"As soon as we clean up…Momma would throw a fit if I left the kitchen a mess. Could you help me?"

Akira nods his head with understanding. Proceeding to help her clean, they finish within no time at all. Turning to look at her, Kagome smiles and gestures for him to follow her into the living room where she sits down upon a recliner and gestures for him to take the couch.

"You may want to lay down for this Akira. What they taught me can take a lot of energy out of first timers…compared to what happened to me at least you can be comfortable."

"What happened?"

Kagome smiles, as she begins to relax herself. "When I tried to draw upon my powers?"

"Yes…"

"I passed out of course…" She replies, starting to laugh as he gulps. "It happens when you haven't drawn upon your true strength and belief. It can be quite taxing. Now remember the barrier you did before?"

"Yes…"

"Tell me how did you do it?"

"With a Sutra placed on the floor after you and Inuyasha got within range."

Kagome grins softly as she bends down. Her elbows on her legs as she rests her head upon her hands. "That's excellent, but there will come a time when you won't have any of those and will have to rely upon what's in here to save you." She gestures to the area within his heart. "So let us begin with a simple barrier protection spell…this will be the same one Miroku used to restrain Inuyasha, but first…"

"First what?"

"Hold on…" She replies as if looking for something. "Found it…" Handing him a staff of some sorts, Akira looks baffled and is about to hand it back, when it starts to pulse slightly.

"What is this?"

"I knew it would react to you! It is a staff, which has belonged to the priests for countless years here at the Higuarishi shrine. The only person it ever reacted to before was me." She comments happily. "It should help you focus your priestly powers."

"Are you sure I can use it?"

"I insist!"

Chuckling, he cradles the staff against his body, and listens as Kagome begins to teach him a chant, that will allow him to draw upon himself for protection.

In the meantime, the sound of the fighting going on outside continues as Yuka and Inuyasha spar against one another. Their common enemy, forever in their minds, is watching and he growls in anger as the pair seems to grow in strength.

He chuckles though as he finds his `son' approaching the shrine as he had planned to begin their scheme to break up Yuka and Akira.

Isao Yasutake, approached the shrine. He was wearing a plain black tee shirt and blue jeans with some sandals. His hair pulled back and away from his face, allowed for the two dark red streaks to become more visible. Walking up the stairs, his senses take in the sounds of fighting between two other people.

"Inuyasha I almost had you!"

"Almost doesn't quite cut it Yuka!"

Realizing that his father's enemies are close, he decides to wait and watch as they come into sight.

He sees a young woman, with a kind face, being beaten back by a young man... "Who looks like me?" He whispers in surprise. The features between him and this Inuyasha are incredible. There are those subtle differences, but they would appear to look as if they were related.

Wondering silently at the silver haired youth and the young woman fighting one another, he takes no notice, of the approaching figures behind him, and hence he blacks out, when he feels the blow to the back of his head.

"Jinto you didn't have to hit so hard!"

A sheepish wolf demon gets chewed out by his girlfriend as the other couple struggles to lift the guy in between them. Shaking their head as their friends once again fight one another, they yell to stop the training in progress.

"Hey Inuyasha, Yuka…you had an audience or didn't you two notice?"

The hanyou pauses in mid swing as the demoness whirls around with a curious glance. Ayume and Tsukasa approach with the figure of the young man between them. Gesturing for him to be dragged inside, Yuka races inside to tell Kagome and Akira what is going on.

"They did what!" Akira shouts out and Kagome gestures for him to move. Allowing the two to place the unconscious youth there upon the couch, Kagome kneels down to check on his pulse and she smiles.

"He's okay…just out cold." Turning his face around, the others gasp in awe at the sight of his features. "Hey Inuyasha…" Kagome just looks up at him and the figure on the couch.

"Yes?"

"Is my father your only brother?" Yuka asks as she to has spotted his features and already she can feel herself drawn to him, somehow.

"What do you mean?" The irritated hanyou replies and as the others part way for him, he is shocked as well, at the uncanny resemblance, this guy has to him. "He looks like me…"

Kagome takes his hand within her own and gives him a reassuring squeeze. "Not exactly like you...you are a one of a kind Inuyasha. But the fact that he looks like he could be part of your family…that's another matter entirely. Are you sure you don't have any more siblings?"

He nods his head, and they all in turn look at Yuka. "Same thing…I know I don't have any more siblings…but one thing is for certain."

"What…"

"He's cute!" Yuka, Eri, and Ayume cry out in unison, much to the disbelief and annoyance of the three boys at their sides.

Watching from his scry, Naraku chuckles as Isao, even though he is unconscious makes his way into their group a little bit. Still he is puzzled….

"I did not intend for him to look like they were related…"

"That's because I did." A voice calls out from deep inside him.

"So Inutaisho, you still struggle against me…"

"My sons will free my soul…all three of them…"

"Aaahh but Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are your only sons, not Isao…he is of my creation. Hence MY son."

"He may be of your creation, but he is of my blood that youhavemade him. That makes him their brother, even though he is not born of my spirit. They will wake him up to the evil that you really are."

Silencing the voice within his head, Naraku looks into the mirror and chuckles. "I will destroy him first before that ever happens..."
