Author Note: This is one of the many ideas I had while I was suffering computer withdrawal. I've always liked AU/Fantasy/Historic/Forbidden Love stories more than anything. It's always been my first passion when reading something new. This one was made out of those and a little help from a song I don't remember. This one just proves that inspiration can hit any time and anywhere, even on the edge of sleep. Enjoy it.

Prologue
The world of demons was different from what it used to be. The old realm of the great and fearful monsters were over. They now lived in secrecy with their own kind. Since their bloodlines were thinning out they had to do whatever they could to keep it from dying.
Humans were now the dominant specie on earth. Though they didn't forget the existence of demons 'cause they still hunted them like animals. Some were just killed for sport while others were kept alive like slaves or trophies. It was a highly liked hobby by the rich ones to brag about the many exotic demons they could gather.
Humans had become to proud and selfish for them to coexist.
The demons lost more and more hope for their kind and some even disappeared on their own to escape from this world.
But one day an albino demoness became pregnant shortly before her husband was killed and skinned by humans. Her sorrow was overwhelming and she lost all touch with reality. So she didn't notice the blessing their land had give her body. In her body grew the child of their love, protected by the others as well as the earth they lived on.
It was a strange pregnancy. They could all see that. The child grew at a fast rate but half through it the other demons discovered that there were two babies inside the demoness. One that was younger than the other. How this could had happen could no one understand but they accepted that something was about to happen among them. Something great because only their youki told them to protect the children with their lives.
First came one child. He was healthy and strong. They could all see he was taking after his father for he was a leader. His white hair shined like moonlight, his skin pale even under the sun and his youki strong and dominant even as an infant. An albino.
Still his mother remained ignorant to him and he was raised by the other demons. The odd part was yet to come because the pregnancy was still going. The other child stayed in their for almost a year before making it's appearance to the world.
He too were albino like their mother and he also held a youki of supreme. The oldest child, Sesshoumaru as he was named, was there when his baby brother was born and he was the first to hold that little fist in his hand. The strong wailing of the child not bothered him as he looked at his baby brother. He was named InuYasha. The strange part with him was the obvious puppet ears on the top of his head. There hadn't been a dog demon born with dog ears in many, many years. This caused a stir among the demons but they resoluted they had to accept it if they wanted to survive. Surely their creator had a reason for blessing them with these to odd children.
Sesshoumaru and InuYasha grew up like normal children, taken care of by the other demons after their mother passed away. They grew strong and learned that the two of them shared a special bond. It became more true that Sesshoumaru had the spirit of a leader as he could bring grown demons to their knees if they angered him. His youki grew with each year and easily surpassed the others even at the age of eight. He learned how to suppress his youki so humans wouldn't hunt him.
But when he was really angry and started to transform into his true self it was only InuYasha that could calm him down.
No one understood the deep of their bond at their early age. They were rarely apart or far from each other. If InuYasha would cry Sesshoumaru would be there to comfort him. The smaller youkai obviously liked the attention Sesshoumaru gave him and Sesshoumaru liked having InuYasha around in return.
They learned of the way of their people, their knowledge, how to hunt, how to fight, everything a demon needed to survive.
But when Sesshoumaru was close to his 15 summer their world was about to change. No one could had foreseen the destruction, hatred, darkness, anger or infinite love that lay ahead of them that would shape them for their future.
