The night air was thick and hot filled with the stench of rotting fish; it was a horrible time to be at the docks but Mr. Higurashi didn't really have a choice in the matter. As he flicked his ciggraett out he drew in a deep breath and walked along the parking lot to the long dock ramp and waited. Drawing his coat closed he glanced around for the men he was to meet. If every thing worked out to night he would not only be out of debt but could have his life back. The low dong of a nearby old church clock stroke signifying it was midnight; two long limos pulled up in the parking lot and flashed their light before they slowly turned off. Mr. Higurashi gathered up his nerves and walked up towards the limos. Before he got to the far the clicks of the opening of doors made him stop in his tracks frightened. Sweating a little he halted in his pursuit towards the cars and waited for them. Two men climbed out of limos, and walked towards Mr. Higurashi with smug looks upon there faces, looks of victory knowing that they had yet again broken another man.

 

“Higurashi, I'm very pleased to see that you made it; do you have what we need?” The first man spoke.

 

Mr. Higurashi sweated and gave an abrupt nod slowly reaching into his coat he pulled out a brown envelope and tossed it to the man who was beside the one he was just talking with. The said man grabbed the envelope and walked over to a limo and started to go through it.

 

Mr. Higurashi looked back to the first guy he was talking to, “Naraku you got what you wanted, now leave me and my family alone I've done what you wanted”

 

Naraku chuckled and ignored the man, wile he lit a cigarette and started to smoke. “Now, now Higurashi don't worry we will leave you alone as soon as we make sure we have what we want.”

 

The first man came back and stood beside Naraku, “It's almost done, they are just confirming the information” Naraku nodded and turned back to Mr. Higurashi,

 

“Looks like things are going good and now since I have what we need…” Naraku gave a sadistic smile turned to his partner Onigumo “I no longer have a need for you” before Onigumo could say a word, there was a small silver bullet straight through his head. Mr. Higurashi let out a muffled gasp as he watched the body drop to the ground. Naraku smirked and glanced at the frightened, human in front of him.

 

“ I don't like to share Higurashi, beside he was weakling and did not like to follow orders,” as he talked Mr. Higurashi looked shocked and started to walk back wards towards his own car, “well if…..if you don't need me any more I'm leaving”

 

Naraku just raised an eyebrow as he watched the man walk away; “dose this fool really think it's that essay?” As if on cue, one of the body guards walked to Naraku and whispered something in his ear. As Naraku looked up he gave a evil grin, “yes, it's never that essay”

 

“Higurashi!” Naraku smiled as he watched the man turned around looking deathly pale, “our business is not complete”

Faster then Naraku thought possible for a human, Mr. Higurashi took off. “HMM well no matter, he can't go too far, I will collect what I need”

 

As Mr. Higurashi ran he felt a presence behind him as he turned three youkai were on him holding him down on the roof of his car. Before he could utter a word he was gagged and tied.

 

Naraku smirked as he walked up “it's like taking candy from a baby” He laughed as he moved into Mr. Higurashi sight.

 

Tsk tsk, Himoti I gave you more than three chances to give me what I wanted, and when I finally get it you don't even give me all my money. I take that as an insult.”

 

Mmhhmfmff mffffffgfmfm,

 

“Oh no Higurashi no talking form you, now lets see he said grinning evilly, “what should we do to make up for you're incompetence”

Tokyo, Higurashi house...

 

Kagome sat down on her window sill and gave a irritated huff

 

“Kaggs don't worry about it I am sure he will be there soon”

 

“Sango, I know but it's already close to midnight, and he is still not here he is going to completely miss my birthday”

 

“Kagome, you sound like a 5 year old” Kagome sat and stuck her tongue out at the phone as she heard the light chuckle form the other side.

 

“Kagome you know Inuyasha wouldn't miss your birthday for anything in the world, he know how much it means to you for him to be there”

 

Kagome grinned and thought of her boyfriend Inuyasha Takio, her soul mate and her other half. Kagome couldn't think of a happier time when she and Inuyasha were not together, ever since they meet at the age of seven they have been great friends ever since. Then in 10th grade they both stopped seeing each other as just friends and really started to notice each other. After a few busted tries Kagome and Inuyasha started dating and not to long afterwards were considered an official couple; now it their senior year one week before graduation and Kagome 18th birthday.

 

“kagome?”

 

“hm?”

 

There was slight giggle on the other side as kagome tried to figure out what she and Sango were talking about.

 

“kaggs, I was asking if you know what Inuyasha might be bringing you, hmm?” she asked. Kagome grinned

 

“Knowing Inuyasha something beautiful and unworthy of me,” she laughed “but seriously I have no idea I dint really tell him what I wanted”

 

“hhmm so you could get anything basically”

 

“Yep” Kagome smiled and continued talking to Sango for another 5 mins, until she felt to hand around her hip and a deep voice in her ear

 

“Miss me kaggy?”

 

Kagome let out an eeep and jumped turning around to face her handsome boyfriend, looking up into two amber colored eyes

 

“Inuyasha, INUYASHA” before he could say a word kagome jumped on him and smothered him with kisses

 

“Hello, hello kagome? Is Inuyasha there? HELLO? Kagome I am still on the phone with you!!”

 

Inuyasha chuckled before taking the phone, “Hey Sango; kaggs will call u later Kay?”

 

“Got it, night inu”

 

“grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” Sango laughed and hung up, she loved making the inu hanyou mad.

 

Lifting Kagome up Inuyasha stood up as well and looked down into her face.

 

“Oh god have I missed you”

 

Smiling kagome planted a chaste kiss upon his lips. “I've missed you too”

 

Kagome smiled at her boyfriend and looked him up and down, he looked so cute wearing Nike running pants and a white tee, with the rosary she had given him last year around his neck. As she looked up she caught eye with Inuyasha.

 

“Like what you see kaggs?” grinning kagome answered sweetly… maybe”

 

“Feh, you better, he grinned down at her leaning in for another deeper kiss”

 

Kagome gasped for the next thing she knew she was on her back with a lustful looking Inuyasha over her. Inuyasha smirked before continuing kissing kagome senseless. Kagome moaned and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer. “ Damn have I missed this girl” Inuyasha was brought out his thoughts as kagome began to play with the tips of his ears “ shit I got to stop this and give her, her damn present before I forget..Mhmmm….. Damn it feels good” Breaking the kiss Inuyasha leaned up looking down in to kagomes face. Her eyes were glossed over and unfocused while her lips were red and puffy. Leaning down to give her a quick kiss he rolled over and went to the window and jumped out.

 

Kagome gave a quizzical look as to why Inuyasha stopped their kiss but was even more puzzled when e rolled off her and jogged to the window.

 

“Inuyasha what's wrong?” Before she could finish her sentence he jumped out the window, kagome gasped nearly screamed as she scrambled off the bed to the window by the time she was there Inuyasha was on the ledge with a bag and a box in each hand.

 

“Miss me kaggy?” Smirking Inuyasha pecked kagome on the lips before setting the box carefully down. Looking at kagome he could tell that him jumping scared her.

 

“Inuyasha if you ever think about jumping out that window or any widow ever again I will be forced to hurt those little dog ears of yours got it” Inuyasha huffed before shrugging his shoulders and going towards the box.

 

“Hey women come over here and open one of ya gifts or are you to busy yelling at me? Kagome blushed and walked over to the box before lifting the lid.

 

Kagome eyes widened as she dropped the box lid and reached down and picked up its contents. Kagome giggled as she picked up the little kitten in the box. “ oh my, Inuyasha she's perfect, look at her” Indeed she was a cutie like her owner the cat had amazing blue mixed eyes, soft cream color fur with little black socks on her feet. She was adorable.

“Inuyasha smiled at kagome antics over the cat, when he saw it in the pet store on his way home he immediately thought of kagome. “So I take it you like it right? kagome nodded her head before she gave Inuyasha a quick kiss, thank you love. I adore her” “Keh no problem but that's not all, come over here, Inuyasha got up and walked over to the bed and started to rummage through the bad

 

Kagome snuggled the kitten one more time before walking towards Inuyasha and sitting on his lap, Inuyasha smiled before pulling out a medium heart shaped box. “ here open it” kagome smiled and took the box out of his hand and examined it, the box its self was beautiful it was soft silk material, with a lace Sakura blossom on top, in the middle securing the lace flower was a heart shaped pink diamond. Kagome shook with anticipation as she opened the box, inside made her gasp. There inside in the middle of the soft velvet was a Sakura shaped locket, kagome gasped as tears came to here eyes, looking into Inuyashas face she leaned up and kissed him.

 

“Thank you Inuyasha, thank you” she said between kisses, “I don't deserve it”

 

“ keh, stupid bitch don't say that you know you deserve it”, kagome giggled and smiled hugging Inuyasha closer, not only did he go and get here a wonderful gift, compliment her and refer her as his, “with the bitch comment”, he had to be considered the best in the world.

 

“Thank you again Inuyasha, I love you”

 

“Love you too, kaggy” before anything else came out of Inuyasha lips, kagome covered them with her own as she moved and straddled him. Inuyasha quickly took over the kiss, while one hand steady kagome the other took the box and tossed it on her night stand while he flipped her over. Looking into up into Inuyasha eyes kagome kissed him again, I really do love you koi, I really do. Inuyasha grinned “love you too, my kagome”

Mr. Higurashi I do believe I made my self quite clear, give me what I want and I will let you and yours live, Naraku chuckled. But, but Naraku she is my only daughter I can't. Naraku smirked, oh you will Higurashi, you will give me your daughter………
