Chapter 6 Truth discovered

 

“What is the matter with me?” The sound of glass shattering could be heard throughout the castle, but no one went to go to the source. All the servants that were around new that it was their Lord making all the noise and new better then to cross him when he was in a bad mood, not unless they wanted to end their life earlier then they wish.

The servant's weren't the only ones to hear the lord in his fits of rage, but Kagome could also her him and new that the reason he was acting the way he was, was because of her.

“You seem distressed Lady Kagome,” Xian replied as she brought a tray of food into the room. After what had happened with the slight interlude a few days ago between Kagome and Sesshomaru, he forbade her from leaving her room and has not seen her since. Leaving Kagome to ponder the situation she was in.

At first she thought that the only reason he had taken her was because he wanted to trade her off for the Tetsuaiga, but now she wasn't too sure anymore.

“Sesshomaru is acting the way he is because of me, right Xian,” Kagome said with a sigh.

“Well Kagome it seems that are lord is starting to show his true emotions to the world after so long. And it's all thanks to you.” She said that last part with a small smile plastered on to her face.

“How can you be smiling at a time like this?” Kagome yelled at her. “Sesshomaru is probably going to kill me rather then trade me off for the Tetsuaiga now that he is in such a foul mood!”

Xian's smile just got bigger causing a very confused and distressed Kagome to hide underneath the covers.

“Don't worry Lady Kagome, you have no reason to fear Lord Sesshomaru, unless,” Xian then gave a small frown as she sat on the edge of the bed, “unless you fear of what he wants.”

Kagome's head poked out from underneath the covers to look at Xian. Nervously she asked, “Do you know what Lord Sesshomaru wants Xian.”

“Yes,” she replied, “I think I do know what he wants Kagome.”

“Can you tell me Xian?”

“He wants the human known as Kagome to become his life mate.” A new voice was heard, causing both Kagome and Xian to look at the door way with disbelief in their eyes. There, standing with a small smile on his face was Sesshomaru.

 

Robokay Reminds you: that yes her chapters are short but they have cliff hanger endings to keep her readers interested. Or so she thinks.
