Chapter 2: A memorable night!

That night they started it off by going out to a nice sit down restaurant, then a walk in the park. As the two walked they saw so many couples out together.

Nicky ran over to the railing where it blocked off the edged that went down to the ocean. The stars were out shining brightly, and the waves were rushing up to the rocks only to fall back and come crashing again. Nicky put her hands on the bar as she leaned forward and closed her eyes as she sniffed the fresh air.

“I love the ocean so much, it’s just something about it that I love,” Nicky paused for a minute, “I think its cause of how calming it is, ya know what I mean?” Nicky turned around and faced Naraku.

Naraku leaned his back up against the railing standing next to her. “Yeah I do, like at times I don’t know what’s going on, you just have to find that one place that calms you down.”

Nicky looked at him, “There are times I have that, like I have the thought that I don’t belong here, not in this time anyways.”

Naraku looked at her as though she knew what he was thinking of right then. “N-Nicky?”

Right then a boy with white hair, passed by him along with a girl with black.

Naraku got a quick look at both, he and the boy locked eyes. Something pulsed and Naraku grasped his head as if he had been blown down by a gun pulled and the bullet hitting the target.

The force was so powerful that Naraku was brought down to his knees.

Nicky didn’t know what was going on but knelt down putting her hand over his shoulder letting him know that she’s there.

“Naraku, Naraku!” Nicky was petrified.

“N-Nicky…get me outta here…” Naraku was overcome by the pain so much he could barley talk.

Nicky nodded and put his arm around her as she helped him to his feet taking him to the motorcycle.

The two young couple looked back at them as they stopped for a brief moment as if they knew what had happened. Then they just kept walking.

Nicky was worried about Naraku, who was still in little pain. So she took the keys from him and put the helmet on him. She then got on and propped him up just enough so he could rest against her as she drove. As she put her helmet on she started up the bike and she went speeding off, to her condo. Nicky looked back several times and was really worried. *He seems to be in so much pain….I wonder what caused it…that boy with the white hair, I wonder if he had something to do with it?*

Nicky came to a stop and got off helping Naraku into her home.

As she turned on the lights to the dark living compartment, she gently laid him down on the couch.

She went into the kitchen and brought out some water and an ice pack for his head.

Naraku sat up, the pain was better, but some what of it was still there. “Thank you, yer’ so kind to me.”

“Don’t fret over it, it was nothing. I just want to make sure that you’re okay.”

“I’m fine; there are times when something like this will happen. I’m used to it; it’s just the pain that hurts so much.” Naraku took a sip of the ice cold water.

Nicky propped her self next to Naraku as she looked at him. *He seems to be in deep thought. He’s so cute like that!*

“Nicky,”

“Yeah?”

“I don’t know what it is that I’m feeling right now but it’s you that makes me this way,”

“What are you trying to say?”

Naraku put his head down near his lap and was quiet for a little bit. “Nicky, I think I’m in love with you.” Naraku turned to look at her.

Nicky’s face was red. “You can’t be serious? It’s a joke, that’s it! It’s just a joke.” Nicky turned not facing him hands over her cheek.

Naraku put an arm around her, resting it on the couch, “No joke, I’m in love with you.”

Nicky faced him, as he put his thumb and index finger on her chin and pulled her close to him giving her a kiss on the lips.

Nicky was shocked but she gently took the kiss and put her arms around him.

As Naraku moved slightly he noticed a quick change in the atmosphere. Something inside of him wanted her all. Slowly Naraku pushed Nicky down on the couch and lightly lay on top of her. His hand moved and as he touched her body ever so softly Nicky received a patch of goose bumps all along her spine.

“Naraku…” she softly whispered his name.
