The Expected Unexpected
Summary : Neither saw it coming and neither knew what would soon take place.But some how it was expected. But how do you act when the one you love betrayes you and on accident aswell?

It was nearing midnight. Kagome was running for her life screaming.."I'm sorry Please.." she yelled, tears flowing doown her cheeks.
"InuYasha please don't" she pleaded for her life.
Miroku jumped before her "InuYasha I won't allow you to hurt her."
He stated firmly
InuYasha ran his claws through Miroku's chest, tossing him to the side.
"MIROKU!!!" screamed both Sango and Kagome.
Sango ran at InuYasha with the Hiraikotsu in hand
"INUYASHA STOP THIS MADNESS" she pleaded and screamed
"MOVE !" he simply yelled
"NO I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO HURT MY FRIEND"
that was it. He grapsed her by her throat and tore out her heart.
He tossed her body to the side.
"InuYasha ....HOW COULD YOU!!" she cried
She began running to the well but hejumped before the got there and destroyed it. . InuYasha was in demon form and began running to her , and there was no way to get home.He ran at her screaming..."Damnit Kagome how could you...I loved you...I was ready to make you my mate " there was so much pain in his voice. He grasped her neck and pinned his claws into her.
"InuYasha your hurting me .."
"Not nearly as bad as you hurt me!!"
"What did I do?" she cried
"You know damn well what you did"

Kagome awoke with a horrible, earth shattering scream.
"KAGOME!!!" InuYasha screamed at the fact that his future mate was in pain.
allthough he couldn't call her , his. she wasn't exactly his..yet.
He ran over and wrapped his arms around her.
The others had never seen this emotion from him.
"Kagome..are you ok whats wrong???" he asked almost sounding scared
she said nothing but just enjoyed being in his arms.
"Inu--Yasha"
"I'm here ..what happend?"
Everyone looked at the two
InuYasha gave them a 'get out of here look', so they left
"I had a nightare ..thats all" she lied.
"Ohh ok "
"Can you hold me ...or atleast sleep next to me ..so I might sleep easier?" she said almost blushing
"Course Kagome" he said laying her down and layed right next to her wrapping his arm around her tightly.
She snuggled into him .

Morning came quicker then they would have liked.
InuYasha was the first to awaken. He sat there a stared at the sleeping beauty that was next to him.
"Inu--Yasha..Please...don't ..."
'She talking in her sleep..what doesn't she want me to do?'
"I'm sorry.....p-please..d-don't k-kill...me"
'Why would she think I would kill her?'
"AAAAAGGGHHHHHHH"
she let another earth shattering scream. this one more painful then the last.
"KAGOME!!!!"
he yelled. he placed her in his arms and craddled her trying to coax her out of what ever was soo dreadful to make her scream.
"INUYASHA!!!" she screamed before awakening.
the others had left early that morning for they heard of demons.
"Kagome please wake up"
She slowly recovered and woke.
she was sobing in his arms
"Kagome what hapened "
"InuYasha please forgive me..I never meant to"
"Meant to what?"
"I'm sorry I was hurt and you were angry..."
"What the hell Kagome?"
"InuYasha please I never meant to hurt you"
"What " 'Why does she think she hurt me'
"I mean I always expected something would happen but not this"
"Kagome what are you talking about?" he asked as calmly as he could
"Before I tell you just let me .."
"What ?" he asked
She leaned in a kissed him. She pulled away before he could deepen it.
"Kagome.."
"I'm sorry I just wanted...my first kiss."
"Your ..first ....Kiss?"
"Yea I wanted it to be with you ....your going to hate me I wanted to be happy one last time."
"What???"
"Miroku was right....my dreams arent dreams there...premonitions."
"Of what?"
"You ..killing Sango and Miroku .....and me"
"But I would never .."
"You did and it was my fault"
"How..?"
"I don't know but something happened, you were angry.."
"Kagome"
Sango and Miroku returned exstatic about their truimph over the demon.
They left the room when InuYasha gave them that 'leave' look.

Later that night when everyone was geting ready for bed, Kagome went to the springs, requesting to go alone.
She slowly sank into the warm water.
'I can't believe this...I was going to ...and he did...but...'
She began sobbing.

InuYasha went to look for her to tell her it was time she came in.
Unfortunately he had a run in with Kikyo.
"InuYasha ..where are you off to in such a hurry? do you not wish to see me?"
"I don't and yes I'm busy..now leave."

Kagome began getting out of the hotsprings and dressed.
She slowly walked to hear the argument being fought between the two.
"InuYasha do you truelly love her"
There was a silence
"Your quiet tell me all"
"Kikyo ..I"
she ran up and gave him a hug.and kissed him passionately.
Kagome felt her heart break on the spot, she could litterally hear the breaking almost like glass.And when he kissed her back it was too much.
She ran.straight to the well like always.

"Kikyo this isnt right now leave."
"What? There was something in that kiss ..didn't you feel it?
The only thing I felt was remorse for what I've done"
"InuYasha..."
"Kikyo it's over"
"What?"
"IRON REAVER SOUL STEALER" he snapped her in half.
'Kagome wait for me'

Kagome was at the well. Some how Kouga was there waiting
"Hey there Kagome....."..."Kagome ...whats wrong?"
She flung herself into his arms.
"Kouga...it's not fair.....no matter what I do...he still loves her..."
She sobbed . He patted her on her back and coaxed her to calm.
"Kagome..there there its ok"
"Noo its not"she cried harder.
He grasped her chin "Kagome you deserve so much better. You do everything for him and he doesn't ever even thank you..You need some one to love AND protect you......some one you know won't cheat on you .......you need me."
He kissed her..deeply and lovingly..a way she wished InuYasha would.
He snaked one arm around her waist and the other behind her head for her support. She wraped both arms around his neck.
InuYasha showed up. His eyes were demonic red.
Two purple stripes on his cheeks.
He ran at her screaming..."Damnit Kagome how could you...I loved you...I was ready to make you my mate " there was so much pain in his voice.
"InuYasha ...I'm sorry " she pleaded.
Kouga jumped infront of her to protect her.
"INUYASHA I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT...YOUR DEAD MUTT"
"WOLF...." was all he yelled out
InuYasha had no fight with Kouga but meerly killed him.
He ran towards her , she was about to jump in the well but he destroyed it quickly.
"Kagome...how could you? " he growled
"I loved you damnit" he snapped befor she answered
"InuYasha please I'm sorry ...."
"INUYASHA STOP!!" Miroku yelled
'Oh no!' Kagome remembered this clearly
Miroku grasped InuYasha to slow him down. But InuYasha tore throw him with Tetsusaiga.
"INUYASHA!!!" Sango screamed
He glared over at her. "RUN SANGO!!!" Kagome screamed
But it was too late InuYasha grasped her by the throat and yanked her heart out.
"SEE THAT? THATS WHAT YOU DID TO ME" he yelled as he tossed her to the side.
"InuYasha please....I'm sorry...this..THIS WAS MY PREMONITION" she cried louder
Some how InuYasha calmed
"W--what?"
"This is what you were so mad about...but Kikyo and...InuYasha please'"
He turned full demon again and she ran.

She ran quickly
The only thing that stopped her was, she twisted her ankle on the root
InuYasha caught up with her...
He grasped her arm and suprizingly gently pulled her up.
"Please InuYasha dont kill me!!!"
"Kill you?"
"Please don't"
He now had his hand on her throat.
"Now why would I kill you Kagome..that would be too nice right now"
"InuYasha please your angry your a demon...please"
Blood trickled down her neck
'What am I going to do?'
"Ka....go...me.." his eyes flickered
'He's in there somewhere'
she leaned as far she could
as kissed him as passionately more so as she had Kouga.
InuYasha snapped back, and let go of her throat
"Kagome...what have I done??"
She coughed a little. Blood erupted from her mouth as she hit the ground.
"KAGOME!!!" he yelled diving down to her side.
She coughed again, blood sliding down her chin
"Inu...Yasha ..I'm sor...ry"
"Don't you have no reason to be sorry"
"I...Love ...You"
"Kagome..."
"Promise me...something"
"What??"
"That I'll always have.....a place..in your heart.."
She began coughing again
"Kagome..don't talk like that...your gonna live..."
"No I'm not....I'm sorry"
He picked her up bridal style and carried her to the hut...

"Keada....whats her condition.."
"She won't live long InuYasha."
"THATS NOT ...SHE HAS TO LIVE..."
"InuYasha,,,,,she's dying"
He ran into the room where Kagome was

"Kagome..."
"I know ....I'm dying.."
"Kagome I..."
"I love you InuYasha"
"I love you Kagome...I'm sorry.."
"You don't .....have to be"
"But I am and I do have to be"
"I...forgive...you...I love ...you"
and with her last words she died.
InuYasha let out an earth shattering howl
Everyone then knew she was dead.
InuYasha followed suit after her death.
The Tetsusaiga proved useful one last time.
