Chapter 7

 

 

Unexpected Lunar Occurrence

 

 

A/N: I think my muse is back. This was the easiest chapter to write since I wrote the first one 4 years ago. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

 

Kagome woke up slowly and opened her eyes. She was lying on her back, facing the canopy of the forest. Above her the sky glowed between the branches of the trees, colored pink by the edge of the retreating dawn. As she watched the leaves rustle in the light wind, a few strands of long silvery hair blew into her face and tickled her nose. She wrinkled it, trying not to sneeze, and came more fully awake. Hmm, she thought, I can't move. She turned her head to the left and nearly buried her face in InuYashas ear. He was draped across her left side, his arm around her waist and a leg thrown over both of hers. No wonder I stayed so warm last night, she thought, touched that he had stayed the whole night with her instead of returning to sleep in a tree or sitting by her side as he usually did. She planted a kiss on his furry ear, which twitched in his sleep, and turned back to look at the morning sky. That's when she noticed it. The setting moon was the barest sliver. Tonight would be the night of the new moon, the night of InuYashas monthly transformation. They had obviously been so busy with their sexual escapades that they had not noticed. With a sigh, she realized this would slow them down. Poor Shippo, but it couldn't be helped. Maybe they would be safer if they left the forest tonight.

 

“InuYasha…”she said softly.

 

“Hmmm…” he said stirring, and rubbed his face against her chest which he had used as pillow that night. “What's up?”

 

“Do you know what tonight is?”

 

“Another night I ravish you?” He aid wickedly, planting a kiss on her naked breast.

 

“No silly, look at the moon.”

 

InuYasha turned on his back, resting his head under her chin, and looked up.

 

“Feh!” He said in aggravation.

 

“Maybe we should leave the forest tonight and spend it in a village.”

 

“Why? You think I'm not strong enough to protect you in my human form?”

 

Kagome sighed.

 

“It's just that you know we will be entering the most dangerous part of the forest soon, and you won't be able to use Tessaiga.”

 

“You really feel safer when I use Tessaiga, don't you?”

 

“You big dummy,” she huffed, and rubbed the top of his head hard with her knuckles, “I'm thinking of your safety as well as my own. Besides, it might be nice for you to spend the night in a village in your human form. Just think, no stares, no people running away from you yelling `demon, demon!'”

 

“Oh, all right,” he said, resigned to seeing it her way.

 

Then he flipped over so that he was lying on top of her, spreading her legs with his. He cradled her arms in his, and clasped her shoulders. Slowly he pressed his hips into hers, so she could feel his morning erection grinding into her pubic mound. His golden eyes glinted mischievously, and he gave her a sly smile, one fang peeking out over his lip.

 

“How about a quick one before the others wake up?” He whispered with a seductive low growl, and bent down to nibble on her neck.

 

Kagome rolled her eyes all the while feeling her body's quick response to his as she became hot and moist. The sleeping bag, still damp from last nights lovemaking, became wet as her arousal pooled beneath her, while he drew his silky length between her parted nether lips, making her gasp.

 

“Inu…” she began to say as he entered her, “YAHH - sha!”

 

“Yes?” He purred as he began to thrust slowly and deeply into her.

 

“N-n-nothing…” she said closing her eyes and arching her neck, her mouth opening as he gently (for once) started bringing her to climax.

 

He gazed down at her enraptured face, and couldn't resist her beautiful, slightly opened mouth, devouring her in a kiss and sliding his tongue against hers passionately. She began to come as they kissed, and he did not let her mouth escape his as she screamed, muffling it so as not to wake the others. Then he broke away, both gasping for breath and panting, as he quickened his thrusts to bring on his own release.

 

Kagome opened her eyes and watched InuYasha. Never before had she seen his face when he climaxed with her, because she was usually in such a giddy daze from her own climax. His eyes were closed his brows drawn down above them in concentration. The silvery mane of his hair swayed in front of his corded neck. As the moment neared he gasped then clenched his teeth, the tips of both fangs exposed, and a rumbling growl started in his chest, escaping his lips as he thrust into her deeply and held himself in her to the hilt while he came. It made her feel warm and happy inside to see the pleasure on his face from making love to her. He opened his eyes, panting, his face flushed, and she reached up to pull his face down to hers for one last, lingering kiss.

 

“Hey InuYasha, Kagome, you finished over there yet?”

 

Startled, they broke their kiss and looked across the camp fire. Miroku was sitting up, watching them, eye brows raised and a smile on his face.

 

InuYasha growled in irritation.

 

“How long have you…” Kagome began to say but was interrupted.

 

“I think it's a good idea to spend tonight in a village.” Miroku said. “I know of one we can get to by nightfall, if we travel quickly.”

 

“Great.” Kagome said, as she clutched the sleeping bag to her while searching for her bra.

 

InuYasha sat up and pulled his hakama shut and tied it while blocking Mirokus view of Kagome as she got dressed.

 

“Time to wake up sweet Sango,” said Miroku, turning to give the sleeping demon slayer a gentle caress on the arm.

 

Sango yawned and stretched her arms above her head, giving Miroku a sleepy smile.

 

“OOF!”

 

Kagome sat up at the exclamation, fully dressed, in time to see a startled Miroku being pulled down into a bear hug by Sango.

 

“Quit your goofing off,” InuYasha grumbled, “let's have breakfast and break camp.”

 

A/N: I decided to break this chapter in 2. The second half will be about what happens in the village when InuYasha is human. Yes, more lemons to come (pun intended?).
