Chapter 2

 

Inuyasha nearly tripped over his own feet “What?!” Inuyasha's voice went high-pitched.

 

“…” That was weird. I thought my voice had broken by now. Anyway, where was I? Oh yes…

 

“What?!”

 

Sango's once bumpy chest was now completely flat, save for a few muscles. She waded to the side of the spring, still a bit stricken, her arms now at her sides hanging limp.

 

Miroku, with tears streaming down his eyes, patted the once-loved chest. “B-but when…why? Why God?! Why?! What sin did I do to you to have to cast this tragedy over me?!” he wailed

 

“You?! I don't see you getting a body switch!” Sango shouted furiously. Maybe it's because I didn't act girl enough? She thought grumpily.

 

“Actually, I'd rather like something like this to happen to me” Miroku grinned, and then sighed. “I can't believe my future wife is turning into a guy!”

 

Sango just glared at Mr Obvious. But he was right. It looked like she was turning into a guy.

 

Wait a minute. If her chest had turned flat, then that means that down…there…had changed as well…

 

Uh oh.

 

She blushed bright crimson and adverted her eyes. She was in big trouble now.

 

Sango quickly jumped out and got dressed into her uniform. It was a bit small for her now and she noticed that the chest area had gotten quite loose.

 

No duh.

 

All of them walked back in total silence. Miroku was sulking, Sango was still blushing over that…thought and Inuyasha was still looking bewildered and carrying an unconscious Kagome on his back.

 

Shippo and Kirara looked at the four strangely. What had happened? And why does Sango smell…different? Come to think of it…was Miroku looking depressed or what?

 

“I…have some news for you all…” Miroku cleared his throat “Sango has undertaken a change. She is now…a…” his voice broken down. He couldn't take it anymore!

 

“I am now partly male” Sango said flatly. Actually, now she looked kind of weird. Her voice had definitely gotten deeper, her chest was completely smooth and her face had taken a more masculine form. On the other hand, she thought, she didn't know if down…there…had changed. She honestly didn't want to know either.

 

Shippo's mouth dropped open and Kirara's crimson eyes grew wider then normal.

 

“You…you're a g-guy now?” Shippo stuttered. He glanced over at Kagome “What happened to Kagome?”

 

“She just fainted from shock” Inuyasha said, also just having recovered from Sango's gender change. He suddenly frowned at the kitsune.

 

This was strange.

 

Was it just him or did Shippo grow taller in the past 5 minutes?

 

He shook his head. It must be the mist from earlier on.

 

Suddenly, his mind snapped into action. He gently set Kagome on the ground. “Miroku…?”

 

Miroku was still mourning. He was mumbling prayers, head bent over.

 

This guy is such a drama queen, Inuyasha thought, rolling his eyes.

 

“Miroku!” He said more loudly.

 

“What?”

 

“Do you remember the mist Sango and I went to check on?”

 

“What mist?”

 

“Oh, yeah. You weren't there. Well there was strange mist covering us and I used my Wind Scar to blow it all away. Then the wind blew it right back at us and we breathed it in.”

 

Miroku thought silently, Hmmm, is Inuyasha's voice breaking? It seems…lighter.

 

And then, Miroku had a shocking thought. He wasn't the group's brain for nothing.

 

“Inuyasha…feel your chest…”

 

“Huh?” Inuyasha looked confused. “Feel my chest?”

 

“Yes”

 

“You are such a pervert”

 

“No, no, no”

 

“Miroku means that you, Inuyasha, might have changed as well” Sango finally spoke up. Her voice was now as deep as Inuyasha's. The change was apparent now.

 

Inuyasha's shocked face was so funny, Sango thought she was going to laugh, if not for the fact that she was in the same position.

 

Carefully, he brought a clawed hand closer to his chest. Closer…closer

 

“ACK!” Inuyasha screamed “Ahhhhhhh!!!”

 

Miroku nodded “I knew it”

 

“FIX THIS NOW YOU IDIOTIC MONK!” Inuyasha shouted “Fix this right NOW!”

 

“I can't Inuyasha!” Miroku cried. He was now truly scared.

 

“You better! I have LUMPS on my CHEST!” Inuyasha cried!

 

Please don't let him think about down…there! Sango thought desperately. If he does, then he'll go insane! Please…please…please. Sango kept on praying to the God that was surely laughing at them right at this very moment.

 

“Really?” Miroku sighed. He can't go groping Inuyasha! What would that do to his reputation?! And since Sango was turning into a guy, he couldn't go groping her/him either! His past told every woman he met that he was straight and proud of it.

 

Meanwhile, Inuyasha's lip quivered a bit. He wasn't manly anymore! He was just about to cry and he found it hard to keep it in. So is this what it feels like to be a girl? To be honest, he felt as if he couldn't keep the tears in. What would everyone say? Every demon they met, said that he was the “Half-breed Inuyasha” that they had heard about. The fearsome hanyou that had killed every demon that had crossed his path.

 

He couldn't be fearsome if he was a wimpy girl! He glanced over at Sango. She was smiling nervously at him.

 

He felt as if he couldn't smile back.

 

Whew, Sango thought. It looks like he hasn't thought about `it' yet. Thank the Gods. At least that was one problem that wasn't going to happen.

 

Then, just when Sango was going to turn around, Inuyasha's eyes widened.

 

Shit! I hope it's just that he's hungry! Sango thought frantically

 

Kagome finally snapped out of her unconscious sate.

 

“Ugh, what happened?” she groaned

 

“I've changed down there!!” Everyone heard Inuyasha scream

 

Kagome fainted again
