Chapter One- A New Kagome
“Hello Kagome-San, how are ye?” A much older Kaede asked a well-grown Kagome also a pregnant one, now queen of the Western Lands, a youkai from blood bond and a widow at most. “I am fine Kaede-sama. Rin-Chan has finally married and I am expecting a son soon.” Kagome said with a blank voice and a sadden face. “Then why the long face child?” Kaede asked helping her sit down in the hut then tacking a seat herself. “The newborn will never met the father. The same with Kino, he’ll never meet Sesshomaru-Sama, my husband who I miss dearly Kaede. And I am to be wed in a year or so. I do not love Shinjitsai-Sama. I love Sesshomaru-Sama!” Kagome said tears flinging from her face.
While Kagome was heading back for the Western Lands, Kaedes words still flooded her mind. ‘Even though ye do not love Shinjitsai-Sama, ye should still marry him for the sake of the castle and for the sake of the villages of the Western Lands my child.’ Kagome remembered. “Today is the anniversary of when I left Inuyasha-Chan and the others five years ago. I wander how they are holding up without me. I bet Kikyo is annoying them, ne? I left because of her and the stupid argument me and that god for saken honyou had!” Kagome scowled to herself.
Flash Back:
“GET BACK HERE WENCH! IT’S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!” Inuyasha yelled grabbing a hold of Kagome’s elbow. “THEN WHAT WAS IT? A FRIENDSHIP KISS?! I didn’t look like it Inuyasha-Chan. I’m sorry I’m leaving Inuyasha-Chan……Forever. Have Kikyo help you finish the damn jewel. I’m THROUGH WITH YOU PLAYING WITH MY HEART!” Kagome yelled giving Inuyasha the jewel then running of. ‘Gomen ne sai Inuyasha-Chan…’ “GOMEN NE SAI!” Kagome apologized running into the woods blindly.
:End Flash Back
“Even though it was an argument over Kikyo and love. I do not regret leaving him, I never have. But I still wander if they are okay especially Sango and Shippou.” Kagome asked allowed to herself looking up at the sky. “Though…its not easy to tell you good bye Inuyasha-Kun.” Kagome said closing her eyes as the wind blew. “And it’s hard to forget you Kags. Who’s the father? (GROWL)” A familiar voice said. “konnichiha Koga, I missed you. Sesshomaru is the father. How are the kids and Ayame?” Kagome asked with a sweet smile apon her face. “We are fine.” A female voice said from behind Koga.
Ayame walked out holding her youngest daughter. “Inuyasha-Chan is heading this way. He shouldn’t see you this way. He’ll kill Sesshomaru-Sama.” Ayame and Koga said in unison. “I know and I don’t care. Sesshomaru-Sama died protecting me from Naraku…” “But you were the one who killed Naraku.” Koga cut off. “No both Sesshomaru and Naraku’s bodies have gone missing, but I doubt it they are alive.” Kagome said putting her hands on her heart closing her eyes. Ayame gave Koga a worried look. ‘Sesshomaru-Sama has to be alive I know it. His mark is still on her. If that is so Inuyasha and me will find him.’ Koga told himself. “I am to be wed in a year or so to Shinjitsai-Sama, but I do not love him.” Kagome explained. “OH! If Sesshomaru is still alive I will find him and bring him back to you before you marry that lame excuse for a lord Shinjitsai.” Koga declared Ayame narrowing her eyes anime style. “Arigato Koga-San, but I must be going if I am to get back to the Western Lands by night fall.” With that said Kagome walked on.
“Now look at what you did?!?! You gave her hopes that will end in sadness!” Ayame yelled her hair flaring in the wind. “I did not, Ayame. I will search for Sesshomaru. I will find him either dead or alive. But I am sure that he is alive since Kagome still has his mark upon her meaning he is not dead, if he was then the mark will be gone.” Koga explained picking up their other two daughters. “Then ask Inuyasha to help you find him. I won’t lose you like I lost Marcus to Naraku!!” Ayame screamed hugging her husband and crying into his chest. “I was planning on it. I just hope he will agree. I will not die on you… I promise Ayame.” Koga said hugging his wife back his eyes going to a state of caring and kindness.
