Chapter Six- A Wedding Interrupted
After Sango, Rin and her kids left so the servants to help her get into her wedding dress, she noticed a mark that was suppose to gone. “We’ll come get you when it is time.” A servant said and then they left. “Hmm he’s still alive. Meaning…SANGO!” Kagome called her friend running in closing the door. “Remember you told me if a demons mate dies the mark will disappear?” Kagome asked running to her friend. “Hai. Why do you want to know?” Sango asked then saw the mark on her friends’ neck. “Oh my lord. Hmm I will try to spot them okay once I do I’ll tell you. If it’s before the wedding that is.” Sango said when a servant came the two friends knowing it was already too late.
With Sesshomaru landed they landed on the roof quietly. “Okay we need to wait for the right line. Ayame Sorn go inside with Marcus let us handle this.” Koga said. In the wedding room Kagome had to hold her tears back. ‘I will stay strong. Huh? Koga, Inuyasha? What’re they doing up there?’ Kagome wandered to her self as Ayame and Sorn with Marcus in hand took their seats in the back. “Are there any objections if so speak up or forever hold your peace.” The demon priest asked when Koga and Inuyasha jumped through the roof. “Yeah we have a few objections. He shouldn’t be marrying her. Inuyasha said pulling Tetsaiga out. “And why not half-breed?” Shinjitsai asked pulling out his sword. Suddenly a third jumped down landing on one of his knees the stood up slowly facing Shinjitsai.
“It can’t be you died!” Shinjitsai yelled pointing his sword towards Sesshomaru. “GUESS AGAIN!” Kagome yelled revealing the mark Sesshomaru left. “Not for long. It will disappear and you’ll be mine.” Shinjitsai said charging towards Sesshomaru. “Sesshie catch!” Kagome said throwing Sesshomaru Tokijin but was thrown back by Shinjitsai. “Oh no! Huh? PERFECT!” Kagome grabbed Tokijin letting the electricity from it engulf her. “HEADS UP!” Koga yelled as the chandelier came toppling down onto Shinjitsai barely missing Sesshomaru. “I did it.” Kagome said dropping the sword in fear. Sesshomaru stood looking at Shinjitsais dead body. “It’s finally over.” Koga said helping Inuyasha to his feet. Sesshomaru walked over to Kagome who jumped into his open arms and cried into his chest. “I missed you so much Sesshie. Aishite’Ru and I don’t want to ever lose you.” Kagome cried. “As do I, and I promise to never leave you again.” Sesshomaru said holding Kagome close to him. “Hey someone has to kiss the bride.” The priest said. “I guess that’ll be me then.” Sesshomaru teased capturing a deep and passionate kiss Kagome returning it. “Yeah yeah everyone knows the line I pronounce you man and wife.” Priest said mumbling something after then leaving.
