"Inuyasha forest… he has gotten a forest named after him?"Ayumi was impressed and looked around. It was still night and she felt a bit chilly. Inuyasha saw her shivering and took of his red haori and laid it over her shoulders before taking her into his arms again.

- Where are we going? she asked and looked into his face.

- To my den, answered Inuyasha and leaped towards his cave.

- Den?

- Mm, I have a small place where I once lived with my mother.

- Oh.. Can I meet her?

- No, she died when I was still a young pup, said Inuyasha.

- Pup? Ohh, right, dog demon thing - got it, she giggled and snuggled closer to his form.

Inuyasha smiled, she was perfect to him. He found his cave to be still intact and he removed the concealing spell he had placed over it. He sat Ayumi down on a fur covered futon to get his hands free to light a fire. Soon the cave was filling with the warmth from the fire and Ayumi looked around. The cave was filled with all kinds of furs and Inuyasha mumbled something about trading and she nodded. The walls seemed to reflect the flames light and she took a closer look and she marvelled. The cave walls were covered in tiny crystals of some kind and she let her fingers move over them. "Beautiful." She thought.

- You have not been here in awhile have you? she asked and turned around to look at Inuyasha.

- No, I have not here for a very long time.

He pulled her into his embrace and sat down on the futon. It was time he told her the whole story. Everything from his family to where he met her outside Kagome's house.

Ayumi listened to his story with awe. She did interrupt sometimes, but not often, to ask questions. She had an internal battle about believing his story, but when she saw his ears flicker on his head she decided it to be the truth. When he stopped talking she saw the early morning sun shine outside the cave and she could not help but yawn.

- Why did you not tell me you were tired mate? scolded Inuyasha and moved to lay her down on the furry bed.

- Because you were telling me a story Inuyasha, she smiled and moved to get a better position next to his body.

- Sleep well love.

He pulled a big fur over them and he swept around the surroundings with his keen hearing and was pleased to know that no danger lurked nearby. He heard her breath even out and he knew she had fallen asleep. He nuzzled her neck and hair and his lungs were filled with her … pregnant scent… "Shit…" but he could not help it, his face cracked up with a big smile. He was going to be a father. For the first time in a very long time he was happy, really happy. And he was glad that Naraku was gone, the shards that remained to be collected was inside smaller demons, he did not count those in Kouga's legs, he would give them to Kagome as soon as the rest of the shards had been found. His hand moved to caress her belly before letting a light sleep take over his world.

¤ Later in the afternoon ¤

Ayumi stirred around before waking up completely. She was right in the middle of a beautiful dream. She was loved by the most handsome of all males, he was holding her close and he whispered words of love and motherhood in her ear… "Wait a minute - motherhood??" Ayumi's mind pulled through the misty haze of the dream and she opened up her eyes and she was met by a pair of golden orbs. She smiled, it had not been a dream, it was real. She was really loved by this handsome male. She pulled him close and kissed him hard. She smiled inwardly when she heard him growl low in his throat. She loved his animalistic sounds.

But he pulled back after a short while and she pouted.

- I have something more to tell you Ayumi-chan, he said and swallowed hard.

"O no.. he does not want to be with me?"her insecurity washed over her.

- After you went to sleep earlier I noticed a slight change in your scent.. he began, his stomach in a knot.

- W-what?

- Youarepregnant… he said with one word.

- Huh??

- Pregnant, you are pregnant, he clarified.

"Pregnant? I am going to have a baby..?"Seventeen and already pregnant…

- I am sorry, whispered Inuyasha when he saw the display of emotions flushing over her face.

- No.. no, we are going to have a baby??

- Yes, a pup.

- A pup… she breathed out the word and her hand moved down to her belly and she caressed it.

Inuyasha was still unsure how she felt, but the way she smiled so gently, it could not be all that bad then, or could it? She looked into his eyes and he could see tears shimmer and his heart stopped..

- A baby, we are going to have a baby, a pup, she said again, not sure what to believe.

- Please don't hate me Ayumi..

- Hate you? Why would I hate you??

- For getting you pregnant.

- I would love to have your baby Inuyasha, I have wished for a child of my own since I saw my cousin give birth to a little girl. I love children Inuyasha, and a baby conceived from our love, how could I not want it?

Inuyasha did not say anything; instead he pulled her in for a desperate kiss. He had faced the most dangerous of all demons and still his heart had stopped, afraid of telling her about her pregnancy. And she wanted it, she wanted his pup. Nothing else mattered now.

Ayumi opened up for his searching tongue and she felt the desperation in his actions and she tried to ensure him with her body that she was not lying, she really wanted his baby.

- Ohh, Ayumi-chan, I want you again, he whispered when her hands moved to caress his sensitive ears.

- What are you waiting for then… mate?

Hearing her call him mate was too much for the hanyou and he rip the pyjamas from her body so she laid naked before him. He removed his own clothing within seconds and soon the both of them were naked as the day they were born.

She was again stunned over the way he was built, he was truly beautiful. She moved to sit up so she could touch him. Her hands played over his smooth skin and she smiled when she saw his muscles twitch under her fingers.

- Touch me Ayumi, he said with a ragged voice and she nodded.

Her fingers moved lower and she heard him snarl in lust when her fingers came in contact with his manhood for the first time. He nodded, unable to form any kind of words. Her hands made up for that she could not do with her mouth and she pumped him gently until he howled out his release. She swallowed the gush of seed and found it to be quite tasteful and she drank it all. She moved over his body to look down into his face. - Can you taste that love, it is all because of me, she said and repeated his words from the well house.

- Bitch, he growled and flipped her over so he was on top of her.

Ayumi laughed softly, but her laugh turned to be a gasp when he guided his shaft into her wet core.

He saw his shaft disappear into her body, he could saw how stretched she became when he buried himself inside of her. - So when do we tell Kagome about this?

She giggled and flexed her inner muscles around his length and he growled low. It was going to be one hot day he could tell already.
