Chapter 1- Something bad in the air

It was past midday and InuYasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Kirara, and Shippo were so tired from the long day's walk and no action. They strolled briskly past the scenery. It was autumn and wind blew gently across their faces. The tress trembled from the cold wind and shook the colorful leaves of orange, red, and yellow to the ground. The smell of pine and fresh flowing water was evident. The sound of flowing water filled their ears. As the group walked along it seemed as if they were walking on rose petals or fire perhaps. Kagome closed her eyes and signed in contentment. Shippo was seated on Kirara's back, while Sango, Miroku, InuYasha, and Kagome walked in pairs. Sango stood by Miroku and Kagome strolled along with InuYasha carelessly. No one had spoken for a while, and Kagome was beginning to feel uncomfortable. They were no where near the InuYasha forest so they would have to set up camp soon. The sun was starting to set over the horizon.

Kagome: Can we set up camp yet, InuYasha?

InuYasha: Feh! You weakling, we can still make a few miles before sunset.

Miroku: Kagome does have a point InuYasha

Sango: Yeah she does!

InuYasha: Shut up and stop complaining!

Shippo: Pleaseeeeeeee InuYasha?!

But InuYasha wasn't paying attention. He was sniffing the air. He had a disgusted look on his face as if he had smelt garbage.

Shippo: InuYasha looks like a dog. hehe

Kagome: What's wrong InuYasha?

InuYasha: I smell a mangy wolf in the area! Grrr!

Miroku: I have a feeling that InuYasha is about to have one of his over possessive scenes….
