Chapter One; Ghosts From My Past
The hallways at Twin Tama High School were always bustling with students. And today was no different. Inuyasha walked down the hallway next to his friend, Miroku.
"This is the year Yash... Finally! Were seniors! And three new girls are hot and single!" Miroku was smiling from ear to ear.
Inuyasha heaved a heavy sigh, "Who are they?"
"The new girls?" Miroku asked. "oh, Rin, Sango, and Kagome."
Inuyashas head shot up, "Kagome? Not Kagome Higurashi?"
Miroku nodded, "Yup... Know her?"
'Know her? No... I only had a huge crush on her before she moved away.' Inuyasha chuckled to himself. "Yea, once."
The two walked in silence. Finally, Miroku broke it. He pointed to a classroom. "Heres my stop. Are we going out tonight?"
Inuyasha shrugged, "Im thinking about making other plans." Noticing the hurt expression on Mirokus face he quickly added. "Im gonna talk to one of the new girls.
Miroku smiled, "Put in a good word for me." Miroku called over his sholder.
'Not queit a lie, But not the truth either... I do wanna go see, maybe even talk to Kagome... But thats not why I dont want to hang with Miroku. Im chilling with Koga tonight.' Someone ran right into Inuyasha dropping all their books.
"Oh! I am SOO Sorry! I really am. Its my first day here and I wasnt paying attention." Both Inuyasha and the girl dropped to their knees.
"Dont worry about it. I bump into people all the time. Im a regular clutz!"
The girl laughed, "Your sweet. I wish everyone was more like you." They both reached down to grab the last book and Inuyashas hand ended up on top of hers. For the first time they looked at each other. Inuyasha found himself staring into a pair of dark blue eyes. They looked so familiar. The girl must have thought so too because her eyes widened and she stifled a gasped. But neither removed their hand.
