CHAPTER 1

 

 

She layed there her body racked with pain. She was giving birth to her and her mate's first pup. She was a half demon and half human. A wolf hanyou with miko abilities. Her mate was Lord Migiri a vampire lord and ruler of the undead.

 

Her mate was outside the room she could here him pacing around and growling at anyone who would enter the labor room. She could feel her life slowly slipping away as she gave her final push and a shrill cry of an infant was the last thing she heard before she let herself slip away into darkness.

 

He burst through the door when hearing the cry of his pup, he saw two doctors cleaning up the pup while another covered his mates body with a white sheet. The doctor approached him with the pup and placed it in his arms. “It's a girl, due to circumstances you can take her home today, but first you need to fill out a birth certificate. But if you like I can have a nurse do it. Just tell me the infant's name.”

 

He looked down at the squirming infant. “Her name will be Kagome Austa Omi, mail her information to me with in the week, and send a copy to our lord as well. He will want to know of his future mate's birth.” He said before walking away and heading towards his car. He got in the back of his limo and the driver drove off.

 

The pup barried her head into her fathers cheast and wrapped her long tail around her father's arm. The limo drove to the dark estate where he parked the car and Lord Migiri went inside his estate. A female nanny approached him and she bowed. “She is to be under your care and your care alone Kaede, she is not to be touched by anyone but you and myself. Understand.”

“Yes my lord I understand.” Was her simple reply.

 

 

 

 

 

CHAPTER 2

 

 

She looked at her father, he seemed relieved of something but she couldn't tell what of. Wasn't she supposed to be leaving, she remembered when she was younger that her father had said that on the day of her 18th winter that she would be mated to the lord of the makai. Something he never seemed pleased about. But if it meant avoiding war she would mate the arrogant bastard. The idea of belonging to someone pissed her off.

 

She was brought from her thoughts when her father spoke.

“Lord Sesshomaru has been made aware that you have no desire to mate with him, to say the least he isn't pleased. But I don't care; the final decision will be left to you my daughter. Please choose wisely. Your options are mate with him or Lord Koenma has agreed to let you into the human world to evade Sesshomaru, but he wants something from you in return but what I am not aware of. Please choose.”

 

She sat there taking in what her father had just said it was a lot to be placed in front of her all of a sudden but she made up her mind very quickly.

 

“I will go to the human world father that is my choice.”

 

He sighed with relief when hearing her decision and all most felt like jumping for joy, but of course he didn't.

 

“Very well you will leave emiditally; I trust that you know where the portal is.”

 

She nodded her head and stood to leave. She left without a word, not to anyone not even her father. But she did take her binder youkai. (A wolf demon cub).
