Things That I'm Not
Chapter One: Last Day of School

Walking up to the platform with all smiles Kagome Higurashi takes her diploma from the head department of her school, Silver Bloom High. One of the greatest schools in the United States. It was one of the greatest schools, only because you had to me one of the chosen few in order to even get to this school. Plus almost everyday was a new quiz or test.
Next up to the stand was Inuyasha Takahashi, one of the most confusing types here in Silver Bloom High. Some people though he wasn’t a hanyou (half demon), but a full blood demon. One time he almost killed a student, but that was only a sample.
After the awards were given to each of the people head of clubs, Kagome through the crowds in order to find her parents. Looking around through the rows she couldn’t see a thing. That’s when someone pulled the back of her collar of her gray robe.
Quickly with fast reflexes, she smacked her attacker dead in the face. Though only to end of blushing once she saw whom it was.
“What the heck is wrong with you?! I come here to find your ass, and this is what I get!!!!” Inuyasha yelled, pointing to the red mark on his left cheek. Just dropping her collar.
“Whoops! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I didn’t mean too” Kagome paused for a moment. “Hey! Why were you grabbing my collar in the first place?!” She ragged as she crossed her arms against her chest.
“Well, for one, we’ve been calling you for the past 20 minutes. Two, I tried tapping your shoulder, but you wouldn’t turn around. I would tell you more but I think I made my point by the redness in your face” He pointing out as Kagome just stood there dumbfounded. “Um Kagome, I would close my mouth if I were you, or some of these guys might get the wrong idea and......”
“Oh, shut up.” She replied, while dragging the hanyou behind her as they made their way through the crowds and into the parking lot. Her mind in the clouds as she remembered all the times they shared. ‘How long has it been since we’ve meet? Eight years? Has it really been that long? It seems longer than that. He’s been my first true friend, and he is the only one who doesn’t care about my secret........ Why can’t the world be more like him?......Hold on. If there were more Inuyasha’s then, that would mean more ramen......’
As she let her mind trail around her, Inuyasha was doing his own thinking. Trailing behind her, Inuyasha could only smile at the figure in front of him. ‘It’s been 8 years, and she’s changed a lot’ He though to him self. Letting all the pictures of Kagome in her uniform run though his mind. ‘Those long tender legs.......... What the hell?! Were did that come from?! I mean sure she has nice legs....err sexy legs, but that doesn’t compare to her smile.....What the heck?! I didn’t ,mean that!! Oh, just shut up Inuyasha. Is not like she should like a hanyou like myself. So, I might as well be thankful that she’s my friend...’ Inuyasha sighed as they came closer to the parking lot down the street.
Once they reached the parking lot they were greeted by their parents. Well..... after Kagome’s mother hugged half the life out of her. Being a full demon she has the power. She is a white fox demon, a very rare type of bleed. This fox only comes once every hundred years, maybe because their relation to the red moon. A fox demon child only born of this night can become a such a rare breed. With their pure silver hair, long silky black tipped tails, and their amazing Neptune blue eyes. Though this is a honor to be such a rare bleed, it still comes with some down sides. Every woman born of a female white fox shall be neither human, demon, nor half-demon until she mates with a male. Then she takes on both the male’s traits and mother’s traits. Though in this case this would be Kagome Higurashi, 16 year old and going to college. Going to college means that men will surround Kagome almost all the time. Mrs. Higurashi was completely against this until, Inuyasha said he would go to the same school.
Now letting go of her daughter, she smiled. “God I’m going to miss you when you go off to college!” Mrs. Higurashi said, as tears came to her eyes. See Kagome and Inuyasha were going off to Japan, which meant they were leaving the country. Plus, what made it worst, they were leaving for their new lives tonight at midnight!
“It’s okay mama! Try and calm down. I’ll write you every week. Plus, I have Inuyasha here to keep me out of trouble, unless he gets me into trouble.” Kagome’s smiled brightly after she was done speaking. While, eyeing Inuyasha as he sent her a dirty look. “Also, now I’ll get top meet Inuyasha’s famous brother Sesshomaru. So, you can sop worrying, and anything happens then you can call the FBI and the CIA. Not before then like you did when you heard I gotten into that fight with a girl named Eri (She’s so annoying!!!!!).”
“Okay, I’ll try not to.” Mrs. Higurashi announced.
****************************************On the Plane
"Once everyone is fastened the captian will lift off. Please remain in your seats until the captain announces that it is safe or the seatbelt sign above you goes off. We will be serving breakfast at 7am. Pressing the service bottom apove you with call upon me or any of the rest of the crew if you need anything. The time is 12:05pm and we will reach Tokyo Airport around 3:45pm. All devices are to be turned off until we are in the air. These are our rules, and we hope you enjoy the trip!” The Woman named Tara finished as she step into the space blocked by a violet screen.
“About time she’d stopped blabbing he mouth!” Inuyasha said as he laid his head upon the soft-like pillow. “If a nickel was taken out a teacher’s paycheck for every word that woman uses in 10 minutes, then that teacher will claim bankrupt!”
“Inuyasha can you be nice for once in your life?” Kagome pouted as she laid her head against the unexpecting hanyou. Just causing him to blush. Quickly regaining his so called ‘manly hood’ he shot back a-
“I’m nice to you aren’t I?”
“Yeah, but that’s when your in the middle a bowl of ramen.”
“Feh!”
Instead of words, Kagome was sound asleep, and each and every time she would try to snuggle closer he’d get redder and redder by the second. A couple across from them would make sweet comments like ‘what a cute couple’ or ‘how come we can’t be more like them’. This made the hanyou’s face if possible even redder.
‘Man this is going to be a long, long trip!’ And with that Inuyasha covered both himself and Kagome with a single blanket.
After a long-long trip both Kagome's and Inuyasha's legs were in a good for a stretching. Coming from a one way trip would make your legs tired after a while. Walking down the huge area, they search for their baggage most of their things had already been spent over to their dorms, but they still had their personal things....well Kagome had her personal things and Inuyasha just had his laptop and games.
"Kagome Higurashi? Inuayasha Takahashi?" A woman called behind them. While they merely nodded. "Welcome to Japan! I am Sango Saiyuki, and I'll show you around." Now looking at Kagome. "Also I will be your room mate from today on."
