Inuyasha walked to their working place and looked over Kagome's shoulder. There was a quick tornado speeding across towards them and it hit Kagome. Inuyasha saw this and tried to catch her before she made impact with the ground. Making her eyes look into his ones.

`I never saw any eyes prettier than these.' Inuyasha thought.

Holding her for a few minutes made Inuyasha's arms sore. The pain could be ignored by looking into those light brown eyes.

 

Kagome looked into those Golden globes, they made it impossible for her to move. Her eyes wandered to those cute, fluffy ears which today Inuyasha didn't cover.

“They're so cute! I wished they were mine!”

Inuyasha looked at her surprise but smiled.

 

Kagome realized she said that too loud, her cheeks began to glow red.

Staying in that position can send you off to mars but until someone shouts in your ears.

 

“Inuyasha!” Kikyou screamed.

 

“Mr. Taisho, Ms. Higarashi. Could you please presume your work?”

 

Now Inuyasha and Kagome are back to earth, jumping ten feet away from each other, pretending the situation they were in didn't exist, and carried on with their work.

 

Break

 

Sango and Kagome are behind their lockers to get their next class books. They can hear footsteps.

The footsteps are very strong and firm and it's from a very athletic boy, someone who has muscles.

 

Could it be Inuyasha? O Kagome .Stop thinking about him!!

 

Kagome felt a hand on her shoulder. This must not be Miroku. He always put hands in the wrong places!!

Kagome turned and saw a boy in a brown tee-shirt and brown jeans. His hair was put in a high pony tail.

 

Is he Kouga?

 

“Hi, sorry about today, I was the one who hit you and caused you to fall into that mutt face's arms.”

“Mutt face?”

“Inuyasha”

“By the way, my name is Kouga. You're very pretty; could you two be my women?”

 

Kagome and Sango's mouths feel to the ground. “Women? Women did you say?”

 

Before anyone can say anything, the person next to Kagome screamed. Everyone turned and face Sango.

 

“HENTAI, COME BACK HERE HOUSHI, ONE SLAP IS NOT ENOUGH”

 

Kagome sighed, and turned back to Kouga and again someone interrupted her. A girl in a grey tank top and a denim pants came running to Kagome and Kouga.

“Kouga-kun”

She jumped a foot high and landed on Kouga's back and smiled at him.

She spotted Kagome and stared at her.

“O hello, my name is Ayame, yours?”

“Mines Kagome.”

 

At the same time

 

“Inuyasha, why didn't you hold me like you hold that Kagome freak? Do you like being her partner? I bet she's bitchy. -

 

Not as much as you

 

“Why are you not answering?” That is like the millionth time Kikyo did this.

 

Back to Kagome

 

“Kouga, I told you I'm not your woman. So leave me alone. Please.”

 

Kouga is holding on to Kagome's arm, trying to pull Kagome towards himself. Kagome pulled hard but every time she got time to escape she always missed the chance. Ayame just stared at both of them weirdly.

 

Kagome finally have a chance, she jerked her hand and slap Kouga's away from her arm. Trying to run but he held on to one of her legs.

 

“You're mine, you're my woman! Don't go!”

 

Kouga pulled her leg, Kagome try to jerk it away.

 

“Get off!”

 

Kouga pulled harder, but Kagome used her miko powers to pull to her direction. Kouga's hand loosened before he got pulled forward.

 

Kagome fell forward, she could see the ground, she's gonna hit it.

 

Its coming, its coming, its coming.

 

At the same time

 

Inuyasha saw a girl with raven hair flying towards the ground, her hair was flying everywhere, her eyes were closed tight, and her mouth was as thin as a string.

 

I saw that girl before; I recognize her hair and her smell. Who is she?

Think…Think…

O my Kami, She's -

 

Where did the floor go?

Did it move, why am I in something warm?

 

“Kagome” Inuyasha ran to her, caught her exactly right timing, just before she hit the floor. He scooped her up and landed on the ground carrying her in bridal style.

 

Kagome touched her face; there were no bruises, so definitely she didn't hit the floor. But she also felt she's off the ground, how could that be? She slowly opened her eyes and saw someone looking at her.

 

It's Inuyasha

 

Some of the students stopped to watch another amazing saving performed by Inuyasha but some looked at Kikyo for sympathy.

 

Kikyo was now staring at Kagome with red flames in her eyes. Flames that could not be put out by water but only by love and care.

 

She stormed up to them, and she glared at both of them. “Inuyasha, Why don't you put that b*t*h down?” She said this in a very dangerous voice. Inuyasha ignored her, she was annoying like a mosquito around his ears.

 

Kikyo by now had fear and anger in her eyes. She gave Kagome the best glare she could do.

 

Why didn't Inuyasha be that nice to me?

Why is it that freak always ruin my life?

Did Inuyasha even care about me?

 

Memories came back to her brain.

 

When she got bullied, Inuyasha didn't care for her, he walked away.

When she got in an argument, Inuyasha never backed her up.

When she got boys around her, Inuyasha was never jealous.

When she was in trouble, Inuyasha would mind only his own business.

 

She's just a girl! What's so special about her? She's not as pretty as me. She's not as popular as me. She's not as attractive as me! Maybe Kagome have something I don't, knowledge. But I bet Inuyasha don't care about that.

 

She had to try her best to impress him, try to be with him, give in everything. But he still didn't care.

 

It's too much for kikyo.

 

Her eyes are flooded by fear and anger. All she can think of is revenge. How and When.

 

Why not here and now.

 

She walked up to Inuyasha who is still holding Kagome. She Smiled, Inuyasha could see the evil smile beneath.

 

“Inuyasha, since you care about this girl so much, why don't I try doing this -

 

This happened too quickly even for Inuyasha.

 

She grabbed one arm in each hand, pulled both of them down so Kagome was dropped on the floor, Kikyou just left her lying there.

 

“Now Inuyasha, did I hurt your heart? Come back to me is all I ask, and I won't harm that girl again.”

 

As if I'm going to do that

“Owwww” Kagome pulled her muscle, her legs made a small effort to get up.

 

Serves you right! You attracted my boyfriend.

 

Inuyasha quickly pull Kagome up; sweep the dust off her skirt and shirt.

 

“Kikyo, I thought you were still bearable that's why I'm still with you. Now I completely change my mind.”

 

He looked around the crowd and said “Everyone listen to me, I, Inuyasha Taisho from now on; have nothing and no relationship to Kikyo Tama. Because of her jealousy, she hurts other people.”

 

Kikyou and Kagome wide eyed stared at Inuyasha.

 

Kagome rushed up and said, “It's not true, I'm okay, and I'm not hurt -

 

“Owwww”

She fell down again, this time she twisted her ankle and sat down.

 

Inuyasha kneeled down and grab her arm over his shoulder, “Kagome, you're too open hearted. You don't need to deny it; you just don't want us to break up. It's fine. I have always managed without her. ”

 

The last few words were too strong.
