Inuyasha: ::growls and lunges at phone:: don't worry I'll save you! ::slips slightly on strap from his new pants::

 

Kagome: SIT BOY! It's just a phone Inuyasha it won't hurt her.

 

::Kagome goes on explaining what a phone is while I answer it::

 

Inuyasha: Feh, well then, who is it?

 

Me: ummmm…my boyfriend

 

Inuyasha: your WHAT!? ::tries to get phone::

 

Me: ::runs:: AHHHH! KAGOME DO SOMETHING!!!!

 

Kagome: Geez Inuyasha sit boy.

 

::thud, rest of the group shakes their head::

 

Me: Ok well, I guess we can get back to the story… oh shut the fuck up Inuyasha and no you are not going after him…. Hey, hey, hey let go of the phone

 

Inuyasha: NO

 

Me: Fuck, let go Inuyasha you're not going to do a thing. LET GO, Kagome, Sango help please!

::Kagome sits him and Sango hits him on the head with Hiraikotsu::

“Kagome would you just eat already” Inuyasha said pointing at her sandwich. “Don't let Kikyou get to you, you're above all that”

 

“How can you be so calm” raved Kagome “She…she….she… UGH I HATE THAT STUPID BITCH!”

 

“Whoa calm down Kagome” said Sango.

 

“What did I ever do to her, she's the one who started this whole thing, none of this is my fault ya know, god I fucking hate that slut” she fumed, she reached for her bag and pulled out her box of cigarettes and her lighter.

 

“Ahhh nicotine, always helps to calm me down” she said leaning back with her eyes closed with a small smile on her face as she takes another drag.

 

“I bet she'll be at the party so you better save those for later” Miroku said as she took a long drag.

 

“If she says one word to me I'm gonna fucking cut her” Kagome said.

 

“Just don't do anything serious I don't want you getting hauled off to jail” Inuyasha said.

 

“Oh come on I could just burn the evidence no one will miss her… much” Kagome joked.

 

“keh”

 

Sango and Kagome were in Kagome's car going off to the “party”, when suddenly Sango had a really bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.

 

“Uh, maybe we shouldn't go to this” Sango blurted out when they were almost to the racing area.

 

“What, why?” asked Kagome.

 

“I have a really bad feeling about this, like something really really horrible is going to happen”

 

“Of course something horrible is going to happen we're going to a drag race, how could something bad not happen.”

 

Sango gave Kagome a nod and a weak smile. They reached behind the abandoned warehouses, where the races were held. They parked near one of the exists, incase they need to get out fast. They looked around for Inuyasha and Miroku.

 

“KAGOME…SANGO OVER HERE!” yelled Inuyasha when they came into his line of vision. The girls waved and walked over.

 

“Where's Miroku?” asked Sango.

 

“Taking bets, what some?” Inuyasha held out two bottles of beer.

 

“Just tell me you were the one that uncapped the bottles” Kagome said eyeing the bottle in Inuyasha's hand.

 

“Yes, I'm not stupid Kagome, plus I wouldn't let anything happen to you”

 

Kagome smiled and took one of the bottles.

“Come on the race is about to start” yelled Miroku. “Kagome, you need to go start it”

 

“What, why me?”

 

“Cuz no other girl will do it,”

 

“You didn't ask Sango”

 

“That's because I already knew she would say no”

 

“Ugh fine, fine whatever, whose racing?”

 

“Ummm, Sesshomaru and Naraku”

 

Inuyasha spit out some beer when Miroku said Sesshomaru's name. Then start bombarding Miroku with question.

 

“Sesshomaru, he's here? Why is he here? Why didn't I see him? What why do I care? Why is he here?”

 

“Your brother's racing what else would he be doing here” answered Miroku rolling his eyes. Inuyasha growled and Miroku gave a weak smile and scratched the back of his neck.

 

“Calm down Inuyasha” Kagome said as she started walking to where the cars were lining up.

 

“Hey Sess” Kagome called, “Good luck, beat his sorry ass!”

 

He gave her a thumbs up, and if you were anywhere near Inuyasha you would have heard him growl.

 

The engines started roaring as Kagome walking in front and in between the cars. She held up her arms signaling the racers to get ready. She looked at both of the racers, who both winked at her. Kagome shudder `Ewww Naraku'. She nodded at Sesshomaru and her arms went down and they were off. The crowd started cheering and Kagome joined her friends on the side.

 

The race was insanely close. Sesshomaru and Naraku were neck and neck. Suddenly, at the very last stretch of the race, Sesshomaru accelerated and beat Naraku by half a car length. The crowd went wild and ran up to his car.

 

When everything calmed down Sesshomaru walked over to Kagome, Sango, Inuyasha, and Miroku.

 

“Great race” Sango said as he stopped right next to her.

“Thanks, where's Rin I told her to come and find you guys”

 

“She's here, cool, wait I haven't seen her” said Kagome.
