His hands moved slowly across her tender, bruised flesh. They hadn't managed to find the others yet, not after so intense a battle.
Sango watched him with calm, mahogany eyes. “Miroku,” she murmured breathlessly, dropping the honorific that she used only for propriety. His eyes caught her own, and they stared at one another.
“Calm my soul, love,” she whispered. “Quiet my hurting heart as only you can.”
Careful of her delicate wounds, the houshi drew himself up, covering her nearly naked form. His lips found hers in a passionate kiss, and, soon, they were silently and carefully making love.
