Three Days Of Hell ~Chapter 4 by Mija

Day Two!

~~~After Miroku had spoken to Inuyasha he went back to the village and informed Sango and Kagome what Inuyasha had come up with. Kagome breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that she had someplace to go now, and would be as safe as it could be in this situation. Although Kaede's suggestion still haunted her mind, Kagome was hoping she would not have to resort to that just yet. The group decided that it would be futile to go to the cave at night, it would be too dark and not safe for any of them. So they stayed at Kaedes for the night, and Kagome thanked the Gods that at least the first day had ended. Only two to go.

~~~They left early in the morning not wanting to risk any chance of an attack on the village. And Kagome just wanted to get there, be safe and pray that the next two days passed by with out incident. But Kagome should of known it was too good to be true. As they walked, Sango behind Kagome and Miroku in front, with Inuyasha somewhere off in the distance, as not to be close to Kagome's range of smell, Kagome felt something approaching. Sango noticed Kagome stop.

"Whats wrong Kagome?? what is it?" Sango replied, recognizing the look on Kagome's face. Sango took her boomerrang off her back and prepared to protect Kagome from what ever came at them.

"Jewel shards...two...ooohhhhhh noo noo noo not now." Kagome groaned recognizing the aura of the demon aproaching, by her look, Sango guessed it as well.

"Kouga!!" they both said in unison. Miroku had heard all this and had backed up till both he and Sango were on either side of Kagome like a wall.

~~~Up ahead about 3 miles, enough to keep him safe enough not to want to attack Kagome, but close enough that he could be there in minutes, Inuyasha growled. He had smelled the wimpy wolf in the air and growled angerly.

"THAT DAMN WOLF!!" Inuyasha spat, as he backed tracked and began to race towards Kagome. One whiff and wether Kagome wanted it or not Kouga would make her his mate.

"IF HE SO MUCH AS LAYS A CLAW ON KAGOME I'LL RIP HIS TAIL OFF SHOVE IT DOWN HIS THROAT AND PULL IT OUTTA HIS ASS BEFORE I RIP HIS HEART OUT!!" Inuyasha shouted with a fierce growl as he picked up his speed and went as fast as he could.

~~~Although Kagome sensed the jewels and Kouga's aura, it did not help when out of no where Kouga sprang on her and picked her up and carried her off in a whirlwind of dust. It had all happened so fast that niether Sango or Miroku had had a chance to blink let alone stop Kouga from taking Kagome.

"Kouga!! Put me down this instant!!" Kagome screamed from her upside down position as he speed off with her over his shoulder. Kouga just growled and kept going, not paying one iota to Kagome squirming under him and yelling at him to let her go.

~~~Kouga couldnt help it. His mind was in a haze. The last real thing he remembered was being out hunting, then catching a familiar smell on the wind. Kagome. Then he caught another smell, still Kagome but much much more sweeter. She was in heat, but the scent was soo intense, the closer he got to the smell the more urgent he felt a need to have her. After that things had gotten fuzzy. Rational thought had left him, and all that drove him was the insane urge, the hungry need to mate with his woman. Nothing would stop him. Nothing!

~~~Inuyasha had reached the group not more than a minute after Kouga had sprinted off with Kagome. To say he was pissed was evident by the way his eyes flashed red and his claws grew. This troubled Sango and Miroku, they did not want Inuyasha going into full demon mode. Inuyasha didnt have Tetsiaga with him to keep his demon half from taking control and there was not telling what Inuyasha would do to Kagome and Kouga in his full demon form. They shuddered at the thought.

"YOU LET THAT WIMPY ASS WOLF TAKE HER??!!" Inuyasha growled at the two below him.

"He was too fast Inuyasha, they were gone before we even knew he was here." Miroku replied, trying to calm the half demon down. Inuyasha growled louder and his eyes got redder.

"Please Inuyasha...if you turn into your full demon persona then you might hurt Kagome." Sango said, her voice pleading with the Inuyasha they all knew, the one that would never do anything that might cause Kagome harm. It seemed to have worked cause although his eyes flashed with anger, they were no longer red and his claws were back to normal.

"I cant wait for you two I have to get to Kagome, but be fast and be quick..I wont be able to stay near her for long so you two need to be there soon!" Inuyasha ordered as he sped off towards the smell of Kagome and Kouga.

"Damn that wolf!...And Damn Kagome for getting him to let Kouga keep those damn jewel shards in his leg!..." Inuyasha mumbled under his breath as he tried to keep a steady pace towards Kagome and Kouga. But with the jewel shards in his legs Kouga was hell of a fast and Inuyasha didnt want to think of what would happen if he didnt catch up to them before it was too late.

~~~Kagome had gotten tired of struggling and shouting for Kouga to put her down, and she was getting very dizzy from watching the world whizz by upside down. man was he faster then normal, she thought. Oh Kouga why did you have to come now? I know you cant control yourself, but would you really take me against my will? She wondered. She knew Kouga thought he loved her, and was waiting patiently for her to be ready to become his mate. She had yet to find an easy way of letting the wolf prince know that she had no intentions of ever being his mate. She cared for him deeply yes, but she did not love him like he deserved to be loved. Besides her heart still belonged to someone else, even if he didnt want it.

~~~After what seemed forever Kouga stopped running and tossed Kagome rather roughly onto a patch of grass in a clearing deep in the woods. Kagome looked up and saw fire burning in Kougas deep blue eyes. He wanted her bad, and it looked like he was not going to take no for an answer, but she still had to try.

"Ummm Kouga?? you..you really dont want to do this." she stuttered as she started to scoot back on her butt away from him, he just kept coming though.

"We mate now!" he growled before he pounced on her. Kagome screamed then tried to push him off of her but he was soo dang strong. His lips crushed hers as he kissed her fiercly, hungerly. Kagome could feel her lips being crushed and bruised, she moaned with pain in his mouth, but still he would not relent. Then his hands began to claw at her clothes ripping her skirt, at the side as he tried to get to where he wanted to be most, where that intoxicating smell was coming from.

~~~Kagome started to cry, this was it she thought nothing could save her now. Kouga was going to take her, and she would be ruined. When it was all over he would be sorry and she would know in her heart that he had had not choice, but she would never look at him the same way again. She would hate him. She didnt want this! She didnt want to have Kouga rape her! She didnt want to hate him! She didnt want her first time to be with Kouga! With this last thought raging in her, she found some unknown strength within her and shoved at his chest with all her might. She had never expected to actually accomplish anything, let alone throw Kouga at least two feet from her, landing on his butt.

~~~Surprised but not taking a moment to catch her breath Kagome sprang to her feet and ran. She knew it was hopeless, Kouga was way to fast, but she had to do something. She vagualy realized that she had taken the time to pick Tetsiaga up before rushing off. She heard Kouga growl right behind her, so close she felt his hot breath on her neck. She yelped and speed up more, her eyes franticly searching for something anything that might help her. Then she saw it. A small hole in the trunk of a large tree, just big enough for her to crouch into and still have room to put Tetsiaga up to create the barrier she needed. It was a long shot, but the only one she had. She just needed something to distract Kouga for just a second or two.

~~~As if answering her prayers, a loud whooshing noise passed the hairs breath space between Kagome and Kouga causing Kagome to skid foward on her hands and knees while Kouga was thrown backwards away from her.

"DIE BITCH!!..YOU MUST DIE!!" came the voice of an angry elemental demon, a she demon. Kaugura.(sorry not sure on the spelling of the name) Kagome knew that she was in the same trance like spell her scent caused demons to go into. But unlike Kouga, Kaugura wanted her dead.

~~~Kouga sprang to his feet as Kaugura landed on the ground tucking her feather into her hair, as she swiped the air with her fan once again, causing blades of deadly air to whoosh past him towards Kagome. Luckily Kagome had sensed it coming and used Tetsiaga as a sheild in front of her to deflect the wind blades. Enraged, Kouga pounced on Kaugura.

"My Mate!!" he growled as he began to fight with Kaugura. It was strange to see how Kouga was trying to protect her, only so he could rape her later, while Kaugura wanted to kill Kouga so that she could get to Kagome and kill her too. Kagome didnt know what to do, so she did what she could and went into the hole in the tree and placed Testsiaga in the dirt at the entrance which created the barrier. Now no matter how hard either of them tried, they would not be able to get to her. She just prayed Inuyasha and the other got to her soon, she didnt know how long she could stay in this small cramped hole and she was soo affraid of who the winner might be. In her heart she rooted for Kouga, always, but if he won then he would force her to mate with him, but she didnt want to see him DEAD!
