He watched as she played with Shippou, running through the flowers. How did these few years slip by so fast?
She sat down for awhile, panting. She looked up. He was watching her again.
"Kagome?" Shippou asked. "What is it Shippou?" She replied, turning back to him. "I'm hungry." "Theres a river down the road, go catch us some fish!" She stroked his head, then he bounded off.
"Inuyasha?" SHe called up. He knew she saw him staring. "What is it?" He asked, trying to sound un-interested. She walked up to him, and sat infront of him, their faces inches apart. "What's wrong?" SHe asked, concerned. His ears twitched. Could I? Would I? Should? He asked himself. He slowly bent over to her. He placed his delicate lips over hers.
She was in shock. He....KISSED HER!
He slowly parted away. They stare at eachother for awhile, before he said those three small words with such a big meaning.
"I love you."
It took her a few moments until she realized what he said. Then she came foreward and replied back.
"I love you too."
