A dark storm cloud sits on the horizon, looking like a wave of death slowly creeping towards Southern Japan. A boom of thunder breaks the eerie silence. Inside the eye of the storm lies a castle filled with darkness.

“Tell me again, Why we aren't we attacking them NOW?” asked a woman's voice.

“Because, we need to start a panic to draw them out into the open,” came the reply.

“Fine, as long as I get what I want,” replied the woman.

“That storms getting closer,” said a raven haired girl with chocolate brown eyes said. “So what, Kagome,” replied a girl with brown hair tied into a high ponytail with almond brown eyes. Her attention was mainly focused on a magazine by the title of “Demon Slaying Tips.” She had marked several incorrect things and corrected them. “Sango, you know as well as I do that that storm is not natural,” Kagome responded. “Whatever,” Sango replied dully. Kagome sighed and said, “What do you think, Rin?” Kagome asked. Rin, a girl with black hair tied into a side ponytail with hazel eyes, wasn't paying attention to the conversation, and was juggling about ten balls at the same time. “Rin,” Kagome chided gently. “Huh… What?” Rin asked flustered as she stopped juggling, dropping most of the balls. “I said what do you think about that storm?” Kagome asked bemused. “I think it's big and stormy,” Rin replied sarcastically. Kagome sticks out her tongue out at Rin, who was laughing. “Wow Kagome, really mature! It's a wonder why Hojo broke up with you,” said Rin still laughing. “Hey guys, where's Ayame?” Sango asked, trying to change the subject.

Ever since Hojo broke up with Kagome there mere mention of his name would make Kagome break whatever she was holding and give the user of his name a death glare that would make the devil be afraid. She would then promptly chase them down and beat them to an unconscious, sometimes bloody, badly bruised pulp.

Even though Kagome's anger could have literally roasted the entire mountain apartment down by using her seeker powers of fire. She took the decency to answer Sango's inquiry. “I DON'T KNOW!!!” Kagome all but growled, flames licking the edge of her palms in unsuppressed anger.

A young man was sitting with his girlfriend bored out of his mind while his girlfriend had a whispered conversation with her friend. The two were chatting, and every once in a while stole a glance at him and giggled. He was growing tired of this. “Kanna,” he said. The whispering stopped, “We've been here for forty-five minutes and all you have done is whisper to your friend.” Kanna, a youkai girl with silver hair and black eyes said, “Oh! Sorry Inuyasha.” She then promptly turned to her friend Shiori. Shiori, a hanyou girl with silver hair and violet eyes looked at him with distaste before turning to her friend and having a new conversation. InuYasha sighed dejectedly. InuYasha was a hanyou; he had silver hair and white dog-ears on top of his head. He also had amber eyes. He stood up and bade them good-bye. He went to his apartment that he lived with the rest of the male seekers. It was getting dark and he held out his hand and a flame appeared giving him a torch to guide him to his apartment at the beach.

Once InuYasha entered his apartment he extinguished his mini torch, and was greeted by Hey's and minute wave's indicating his entry. “Always a warm welcome, huh guys,” InuYasha laughed. “Oh Ha ha!” a wolf youkai with brown hair and blue eyes with pointy ears said. “Always so sarcastic aren't you Koga” said an emotionless voice. “And always so cold hearted, Sesshoumaru,” InuYasha chided. Sesshoumaru, InuYasha's older brother, and a full blooded Inuyoukai had silver hair and amber eyes with pointy youkai ears that most youkai have. Sesshoumaru just rolled his eyes at his little brother. “Ok, where's Miroku?” Inuyasha asked the room at large while looking around for him. “He's probably looking for some woman to `bear his children'” scoffed Koga. “That is something that Miroku is probably doing,” sighed Inuyasha. It annoyed him that when he needed girl advise he was never around. “I take great offence to that,” came a voice from the door. Miroku, a monk, had black hair that he kept tied in a small ponytail at the base of his neck and had dark indigo eyes. “Well you do,” scoffed InuYasha. Miroku faked being hurt, while InuYasha just laughed at him. “Anyway, I got us tickets to an exclusive club tonight,” Miroku said proudly, holding up four tickets. “Cool. I just broke up with Kanna so I need to celebrate my freedom” “I do need to find a girl” “What a bore” Everybody looked at Sesshoumaru like he was nuts. “I think it is a waste of time to go to a bar,” said Sesshoumaru. “You're going, Sess, you need to be in a relationship,” InuYasha said smirked. “Watch your tone, Little Brother,” growled Sesshoumaru.

A red haired youkai burst through the door shouting, “Guess what I got?” “What? Ayame,” replied Kagome. “Well I got tickets to an exclusive club tonight!!!” Ayame said proudly. Ayame is a wolf youkai, with scarlet/red hair with emerald green eyes. “No Way,” exclaimed Rin. “Cool,” said Sango. “How did you get them, Ayame” Kagome asked. “I got them from Dakota when… he… dumped me,” Ayame finished sadly.”Aaaahhhh” all of them said as they went over to her to rub her back and to say comforting things. “We'll go to that club and find you a guy that'll blow Dakota's socks off,” Rin said confidently. “Ok,” sniffed Ayame.

“Wow Miroku you really out did yourself this time” Koga said as he looked around the packed club. “I know, now I have to go find a girl,” said Miroku distractedly.
