Ok, well this is chapter 1 and, I don't own Inuyasha, and....thats it. Hope you like it! ^_^ Oh ya, in this fic Kikyo is a good person, not that she's one of my favorite characters, but this is the past when she was good so...ya

Kagome had just gotten back from the Feudal Era, she had left because once again, Inuyasha had insulted her, calling her a shard detector, so she left. As soon as she climbed out of the well she remembered she had forgotten her backpack.

"Oh great..." she said to herself. She didnt really want to go back, but all her homework was in there, plus some of her clothes and stuff. She sighed and jumped back into the well.

Inuyasha growled angrily, as he charged toward Bone Eater's Well, what made Kagome think she could just go off and leave like that? They needed her here more than she was needed in her time anyways.

"Inuyasha!" a voice called out from behind him. He turned to see Miroku, Sango and Shippo riding on Kilala coming up beside him.

"Maybe you should leave Kagome alone for a little while, she was pretty mad at you." Sango said.

"Feh. If she thinks she can just run off like that, she has another thing coming." Inuyasha said.

"Maybe you should have been more considerate of her feeling before you called her a 'shard detector'." Miroku said.

"Who asked you?!" Inuyasha yelled.

"I'm just saying, anger is no way to a woman's heart." Miroku said, Shippo, Sango and Inuyasha all sweatdropped.

"What's that suppose to mean?!" Inuyasha said his face turning red.

"How many times do I have to tell you Monk? Kagome and I are not-" he was interuppted by a bright pink light flashing from the well.

"Whats that?" Shippo asked. Inuyasha pulled out the Tetsusaiga, and walked up to the well. He looked inside.

"It's nothing." he said

"It could have something to do with Kagome. You should go make sure she's ok." Miroku suggested.

"Just a second ago you were telling me not to go see her." Inuyasha said.

"Well when someone you love is in danger-"

"Forget it! I'm going!" Inuyasha interuppted and jumped down the well.

When Kagome emerged from the well she was surprised by the scene she stumbled onto. The first thing she saw was Inuyasha and Kikyo standing in front of her. Her eyes widened as she climbed out. They both whipped around with looks on their faces just as surprised as hers. She just stood there for a minute.

"Who the hell are you?" Inuyasha asked defensively.
"She...looks just like me..." Kikyo said. Kagome stood there numbly, and confused.

' What's going on? Why dosen't Inuyasha recognize me? Did Kikyo put a spell over him or something?' A million thoughts were racing through Kaogme's mind, when Inuyasha's voice interuppted.

"Are you deaf or something?" his voiced yelled again.

"I-uh, you mean you don't know who I am?" she asked her voice a little shaky.

"Well, if I did I wouldn't be asking you who you are, now would I?" he said cockily. That's when she noticed the Shikon Jewel around Kikyo's neck, the whole Shikon Jewel.

"What? The Shikon Jewel, no that can't be right..." she said as she looked at the partial fragment she had around her neck.

"So, your after the Shikon Jewel aren't you? Your just human, but it's not like humans haven't been after it before." Inuyasha said as he prepared to attack.

"Wait, Inuyasha, I think she has a Shikon Jewel around her neck, or part of it atleast." Kikyo said, stopping him from attacking.

"Kikyo....you have a soul." Kagome said, the Kikyo she new lived off the souls of other people but this one, she could sense a soul in her.

'What the heck is going on?!' she thought frantically.

"You know my name?" Kikyo said.

"What do you mean she 'has a soul'?" Inuyasha asked. That's when she noticed Inuyasha didn't have the prayer beads around his neck, or the Tetsusaiga either. Then all of a sudden a little girl with an eye patch came running out of the forest.

"Kikyo! There you are!"

"Kaede, I thought I told you to stay in the village." Kikyo said.

'Kaede....wait, that means....'

Inuyasha had searched all over Kagome's house and not found a trace of her. Her scent was in the shed with the well in it, but it didn't leave that area.

"I guess she must've went back..." Inuyasha said as he headed to the well.

' I must have traveled too far back, but how? This never happened before. In this time, Inuyasha and Kikyo hadn't been tricked into betraying eachother, and that means I can fix it...but will that means Inuyasha and I won't meet....No, I have to fix this, I have to be here for a reason, maybe that's it.' Kagome thought to herself. Then she ran up to Kikyo.

"Kikyo! Did you already help an injured bandit by the name of Onigumo?!" Kagome asked quickly.

"What? Oh, yes I did? Why do you ask?" she said suprised by her sudden outburst.

"Hold it. Who are you? And why do you have a scent similar to Kikyo's?" Inuyasha said stepping in front of her.

"I'm her reincarnation." Kagome said as much as she hated to admit it, she had tried to deny it for so long, but she knew it was true.

"My name is Kagome I'm from the future. You guys are going to be tricked by a demon named Naraku into betraying one another." she said quickly.

"What?" Inuyasha said dumbfounded.

"My reincarnation?" Kikyo said.

"What kind of crap are you trying to pull girl?" Inuyasha asked angrily.

"It's true, why do you think I look so much like her? And I have a part of the Shikon Jewel." she said holding it up.

"That's impossible, Kikyo has it right there!" he said pointing at the light pink jewel around her neck.

"What happened to the rest of it?" Kikyo asked.

"Uh, well I kind of shattered it, but we hot alot of it back." she said in a nervous voice.

"Whose 'we'? Inuyasha asked suspiciously.

"That would be me, you, Sango, Miroku and Shippo." she said.

"Me? Why would I cooperate with an idiot like you?" he said crossing his arms.

"Hey! Besides, it's not like you wanted to work with me, at first, you just wanted to get all the shards of the Shikon Jewel back. Since I'm Kikyo's reincarnation, I can sense them inside of demons." she explained.

'Sometimes I still wonder if you want me around...' she thought to herself, thinking about the fight she and the Inuyasha she knew, had.

"Here I'll explain the story." she said as she started to tell them about how she had been pulled into the well that morning before school, and about how they were tricked against eachother by Naraku.

"That has to be one of the worst lies I've ever heard!" Inuyasha said critically.

"That would explain our resemblences and the fact that she has a part of the Shikon Jewel though." Kikyo said.

"Don't tell me you actually believe her!" Inuyasha yelled.

"I can prove it." Kagome said determined to show him the truth.

"Kikyo can I borrow your bow and arrow really quick?" she asked

"Oh, sure." she said as she handed them to her, wondering if it was such a good idea.

"Thanks." she said as she pointed one of the arrows at a tree and shot it. A pink aura surrounded it and when it hit the tree it there was a bright flash of light and nothin but a small crater was left. Kagome was actually proud of herself for that, she had come a long way since she first held a bow.

"That looked like one of your enchanted arrows sister." Kaede said.

"That dosen't prove anything, just that you know how to use a bow and arrow." Inuyasha said stubbornly. Kagome's face reddened with anger.

"I just can't win with you can I?! Fine! Don't believe me! See if I care!" she yelled. Inuyasha was caught off guard by her sudden anger.

'Looks like Inuyasha has the same attitude in his past that he has in his future.' she thought angrily. All of a sudden she heard a familiar voice yell behind her.

"Kagome! Where the hell did you go?!" Kagome's eyes widened as she turned around to see another Inuyasha standing before her.
