Tis the season
me : i do not own inuyasha. i do however wish i could own the inuyasha dvd's.
i know its july and all but i just had to get this story out of my head.
on with the story.

chapter 1 : the planning

it was five days before christmas in kagome's time, so kagome decided that she would tell her friends in the feudal era about christmas.

when kagome returned to the feudal era, a small,orange ball came racing towards kagome and kagome instantly caught the orange ball which was flying towards her chest.
"KAGOOOMMEEE!!!" yelled a child's voice.
"KAAGGOOMMEEE!!! your back!" exclaimed the voice which was shippo.
"yes shippo, i'm back and i've come back to tell everyone about christmas." replied kagome.
"ch-rist-mas?" asked shippo.
"i'll explain it to you as soon as we get everyone together." answered kagome.
after spending at least fifteen minutes looking for everybody,kagome started to explain about christmas.
"and on the twenty-fifth of december, everyone wakes up and run down the stairs to open their gifts." explained kagome.
"so you're saying that every december,on the twenty-fifth everyone gets to open one anothers gift?" asked sango
"exactly." replied kagome.
"inuyasha" called kagome.
"feh,what is it?" asked inuyasha.
"i have to go to my time for a little while to go and get your guys' presents,so i'll be gone for a few days,is that okay with you inuyasha?" asked kagome.
"feh,go ahead,we haven't heard any rumours of jewel shards lately any ways." was inuyasha's reply.
with that said,kagome went back to the well to her own time and started to get the presents.

'okay now,what could inuyasha use?" kagome thought to her self.
kagome gave a n evil smirk as she thought of the 'perfect' gift for inuyasha,she would get him a rawhide dog bone for christmas
'perfect' thought kagome.
now all kagome had to do was think of what to get for her other friends in the feudal era.
'i can get sango some perfume,a necklace for miroku, some candy for shippo and cat food and tuna for kilala.' and after making a list of what to buy for her friends,kagome went to the mall in search of her gifts.

everyone had agreed to go their seperate ways for the remaining five days and return at the well to wait for kagome.
shippo had left with inuyasha to go to his and inuyasha's old homes,sango and kilala went to a not so close by market that she knew well, and miroku went to who knows where.
shippo and inuyasha had both agreed to go to shippo's old home first seeing as he was the youngest.
as inuyasha and shippo got to shippo's old cottage, shippo started to walk around his home until he came to his moms room,there he discovered lots of beautiful kimono's in various colours.
'which one will mommy like?" wondered shippo as he thought about it while inuyasha was walking around shippo's house.
"i got it!" yelled shippo in excitement as he found two beutiful kimono0's for kagome and sango.
"what did you find?!" yelled inuyasha who was a different end of the house.
"come and see for yourself,they're perfect for kagome and sango!" exclaimed shippo.
as inuyasha was walking to where shippo was,inuyasha could see two beautiful kimono's almost levitataing off of the ground.
"are these for sango and kagome?" asked inuyasha.
"yup, aren't they nice?" asked shippo.
"very." was inuyasha's only response.
"hey inuyasha?" called shippo.
"what is it runt?" asked inuyasha.
"could you please help me find something for kilala?" asked shippo.
"like what?" asked inuyasha.
"i dunno,maybe a thing of catnip." answered shippo
"cat..nip?" asked inuyasha dumbly.
"yeah,kagome told me about it,dogs are able to smell it a little bit but if a cat smells it they go crazy."
"isn't that a bad thing?" asked inuyasha.
"no,i mean crazy as in hyper." replied shippo.
"oh." was inuyasha's only reply.
meanwhile,miroku was searching for something for kagome and sango and maybe a little prank for inuyasha.

me : sorry if this chapter aint long but if i kept on writing this would be a one-shot and i want to make a few chapters, plus its one a.m. and i am still posting this story.
this story was started at 12:18 pm (this aint no joke) but hey, i have to make the readers happy.
plz R&R what miroku should get for sango because i already have something planned for kagome.
oh and when kagome gets back she also brings some mistletoe back with her.
