InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ To Belong ❯ The Breakfast Club ( Chapter 15 )
A/n: the lyrics are from dashboard confessional "To notice". Kagome's view isn't really in this chapter. I wanted to intertwine everything but 3 different things are going and there's no way I could do it. If you see any grammer or puncutaiton mistakes I'm sorry but theres only so many times I can read and reread my work.

Chapter 16 - The Breakfast Club
***
I'm starting to flash on in an idea in my head
Where I would impress you
With every single word I said
***
Kagome was staring at herself in her mirror turning every way to make sure everything was in place. Her green skirt was crisp from ironing and her bow perfectly tied to complete the whole school program. Another day at school wearing her uniform, being like everyone else. The ringing of the doorbell had caught her attention but not enough to make her stop getting ready for school. She was putting go her yellow pack when Souta yelled; "KAGOME!"
Who could that be? It was too early and she didn't think Yura would come unannounced and she didn't think Hojo would come pick her up for school, just after school. In fact she didn't even think Hojo was up at this time. She wasn't really in the mood to be messed with.
She came trudging out of her room, Souta sped by her looking too happy for such an early hour. But then he had been doing a lot of odd things lately, like spending too much time with her. Sure he spent time with her he was her brother but recently it was like he wanted to know what she did everyday; who she was with. Weird stuff.
She opened the door, still somewhat expecting Yura or Hojo or even Tsubaki. But no she opened the door to a honeyed eyed, silver headed hanyou.
**
The sun was filtering through closed blinds reminding its inhabitants of the day that was to come. A small sigh escaped Sango's lips and she shifted to hide her face from the awful garish sun. She felt very cozy and comfortable in the bed that she was laying in. Beside her a body stirred and strong arm wrapped its self around her waist.
A small smile graced her face as she felt Miroku's lips brush against her ear as he whispered; "Good Morning." It was always a tradition to never break the silence that early morning always brought. The room was always filled with sighs and breaths and small good mornings; it was so peaceful that breaking it would mean that there was a world outside the four dark blue walls. The silence was so needed they didn't even have a phone in his bedroom; early morning callers were never welcomed in his home.
Instead of replying, Sango turned and faced Miroku. His eyes were still closed but he looked too happy to be sleeping. He always got a stupid grin on his face whenever they woke up together. He tightened his arm around her bringing her closer to him. She could feel the heat of his body jump to her.
She buried her head into the crook of his neck and breathed in his scent while she felt him softly kiss her temple. Sango's fingers seemed to have a life of their own as they lightly slid along the side of his abdomen under his shirt and cross up to the middle of his chest. They could almost feel the rumble in his chest as they slowly stroked the warm skin.
Miroku was still sleepy but the tiny kisses falling along his neck were swiftly waking him. Sango could already see the smile spreading on his face. This had always been so hard; starting anything. How long had they been going out? Two years. And still at times he could make her blush. Her fingers trailed a path from his chest to his back; his muscles underneath her fingertips such a familiar feeling but never an old experience.
Unfortunately, their peace was broken by the ringing of the Simpsons' theme on Miroku's cell phone. Sango sighed and rolled her eyes and Miroku grumbled in frustration. Normally, he wouldn't answer the phone but the Simpsons' theme was programmed to ring for any Wolves member. It didn't matter who called, it could be anyone from Kouga, Inuyasha, to young Shippou; it just meant it was important.
Sango laid her head on Miroku chest while he stretched for phone on the bedside table. He unsuccessfully tried to keep the impatience from his voice; "Hello?"
While he spoke Sango began to play with buttons on his shirt. Each button became her world and a little game as she smoothly freed it from its trap in the little buttonhole. Every inch of skin that appeared was a new inch her lips could kiss. With a smile she looked up at Miroku's intense gaze. He was still on the phone but didn't sound very into the conversation; "Yea we can do it tomorrow." he said distractedly.
Sango shifted and straddled Miroku, sitting on his stomach. Half of he buttons were already gone and in its place a very good view of his chest. The sight of him always made her feel the same way; heated. She propped her knees up on each of his sides and stared pointedly at him, waiting for him to get it.
It didn't take him very long before his fingers started their own journey towards her. She sighed and shook her head when she felt them making circles down her knee to her thigh. She grabbed his wrist and shook her head again at him and his frown and whispered, "Phone."
"Well where are you going?" he asked still staring at her position. She would suppose that her position would distract him from business but it wasn't her fault if she weren't wearing any pants.
Deciding to take things into her own hands, Sango leaned down and began a very torturous trip, for Miroku, down his chest, yet again pulling at the buttons and kissing the exposed skin. Sure after the last button had been freed she could have gone down further but no he was still on the phone.
She was a member of the Wolves and she did care about what was going on but not before 9 AM. Besides whoever it was hadn't called her which meant it probably didn't concern her.
Ignoring Miroku's perverted smile, she slid her way up his body and laid on top of him as evenly as possible. She started kissing along his jaw and up to his ear. Biting on the lobe she whispered; "Who is it?"
"Uh yea Inuyasha." He was thoroughly absorbed in her actions but wouldn't get off the phone.
Getting fed up; Sango grabbed the phone from him and spoke to Inuyasha not even trying to keep out her own aggravation.
"Hi Inuyasha, is there something wrong?" she asked trying her best to ignore Miroku's smirk and the laughter in his eyes.
"No…" he stated sounding very confused.
"Well that's great but Miroku will have to call you back later." She said and without waiting for an answer she promptly hung up. Yes Inuyasha would be grouchy with her the next time he saw her but after so many years it was to be expected and almost comforting.
She tossed the cell phone to the small pile of clothes on the corner of the room and smiled as she went back to work; nibbling her way along his jaw.
**
The sun had yet to really rise and the swirls of wind only helped cooling his already anxious skin. Inuyasha had just gotten off the phone with Miroku but his friend didn't really help him. He was still here walking on the sidewalk of a neighborhood he didn't live in, contemplating his next course of action. He already knew his next move it was just he couldn't take the actual jump.
He had passed Kagome's place nearly 3 times and it never got any easier to just go up to her door. The silence of the tree-lined streets was broken only by the chirping of birds and the stirrings of people finally waking and getting ready to begin in the world. It wasn't supposed to be such a big deal, but then somehow it had become one. He had been in her house a lot since Souta had joined the Wolves, just never with her also in the house.
On his fourth pass he stopped in front of her stoop and looked at the door looming in front of him. at first when he had decided to do this he had said to himself that he would just be there for a moment tell her and then leave. Now as he looked at her door he knew he couldn't just do that. Already a plan was forming in his mind as a way to get her to stay longer with him.
I'm pathetic. No better than Miroku or even Kouga.
The few steps up to her door seemed to take forever because now he was stalling. He had decided he wanted to stay with her longer but he had to decide how. The miniscule muscles in his ears twitched with every small sound they caught from inside the house. Souta was yelling about something and Kagome answered with another yell.
**
"You know I think he was saying something important." Miroku said amusingly. He always thought her being more …aggressive was so damn funny; she would have been pissed off at him if she didn't feel like doing other things at the moment.
She just shrugged in response and sat up preparing to pull off his shirt. He was complying with her but not as enthusiastic as she was used to.
"What is it?" she asked as she stopped pulling of his shirt. There was no way anything could be done until he cleared his mind.
Miroku looked hesitant to say anything at first but finally gave in; "I think Inuyasha likes someone."
Sango gave a small snort at that; "We are talking about Inuyasha right? The boy who was after Kikyo before we even met?" It was true; Inuyasha had been after Kikyo for about month before she had even met any of them.
Miroku shook his head at her disbelief; "No really this girl I met-"
"Who did you meet?" she asked; interest piqued. She wasn't jealous just interested. She was well aware of Miroku's motto, but it stopped bothering her years ago. She just took it as him being him. She trailed a finger along his chest; making patterns.
"This girl named Kagome. She's really nice but young. I don't know it's just that Inuyasha's acting …different." He said absently, concentrating on the patterns his girlfriend was making. Miroku was rapidly starting to not care about the real or imaginary problems his friend was facing. He realized Sango was here sitting on him wearing almost nothing.
"Don't worry about it. This is Inuyasha. He hasn't looked at a girl since Kikyo." She said reassuringly. She didn't necessarily like Kikyo all that much she saw the girl as a control freak and a person who liked to use her abilities way to freely but that didn't mean she wanted some new girl coming in only hurting Inuyasha's feelings and the whole network of the Wolves.
Miroku nodded in agreement; "Yea I'll just talk to him about it later." He wrapped his arms around Sango's soft body and pulled her closer while leaning up to give her the deepest kiss he possibly could so early in the morning.
**
"What are you doing here?" she asked the surprise all too apparent on her features and in her voice. She automatically quieted down and looked around suspiciously; she didn't really know what to expect. She has happy her mother wasn't home; she had a feeling if Mrs. Higurashi was she would be talking to Inuyasha instead of her.
"I'm taking you to breakfast." He said it as if it was already decided and she just had to go along. Before any more could be said though Kagome pushed him back to give her room to step outside and close the door behind her. There he was Inuyasha the guy she had been thinking about the day before in school, wearing a very eclectic outfit of a leather jacket, jeans, plaid and red. He was smirking at her because of her surprised face but she forgot that when his statement from before came back to her.
"You're what?" she asked quietly. She was sure no one could hear them but it did nothing for her paranoia.
"Me. You. Eat food." He said while rubbing his stomach, like she was stupid.
She looked at him suspiciously; "B-but why?" she sputtered. I'm the one who shot him. Wait why am I even thinking about this? She wouldn't mind spending some time with Inuyasha, but it was weird that he was there.
He shrugged and then looked around lazily; "Does your gang spy on you?" he asked nonchalantly.
"Huh?" the confusion was apparent in her voice and face.
"You know they do that sometimes stakeout people's houses. You know make sure they aren't going to be doing any backstabbing." His voice was very relaxed as he explained like he didn't care if the Demons say them together. He probably doesn't care.
Kagome instantly panicked. That was one thing she didn't need right now, Sesshoumaru not trusting her. With quick look around she pulled Inuyasha inside her house. With one more swift glance and a check for silence she pulled him to the hallway and inside her room. Why am I doing this? Already her nervousness had increased with seeing him there on her doorstep but now he was in her room. He sat down on her bed with a very confident smirk.
Kagome instantly regretted bringing him in her room. So it wasn't the most brilliant decision she had made but it was this or talk outside and who knew what she would do if someone from the Demons caught her talking to Inuyasha. She stood with her back to the door staring at him forcing a frown. She didn't really feel like a frown but smiling would mean she was okay with him there. And she wasn't at least to a degree.
"Why?" she said with a cross of her arms.
"Because they wanna make sure people don't back stab them- really Kagome I thought you listened."
"No why are you here?"
"To eat. Listen. I want us to eat together." He said slower.
"Why?"
"I want to talk about something…" He stopped speaking right there and started looking around her small pink room.
"About…" she said sounding very frustrated.
"Not until we eat. I mean we don't have to. I can just go…" He motioned like he was going to get up. Why am I arguing? I like Inuyasha. Kagome stopped him.
"Okay fine we'll eat together." She went towards him and grabbed his arm and started tugging him towards her door.
"What are you doing?" he asked. He was moving with her but not nearly as fast as she would have liked.
"It's not fair you get to look normal and I have to wear this." She said with a motioning hand towards her uniform. "Now get out. Go across the hall and talk to my little brother. But be nice." She said closing the door behind him.
**
Inuyasha didn't really get anytime to speak to Souta. The little brother was sitting on his bed watching TV and ignoring the outside world. There were questions to be asked but that would come later when he didn't have to keep an ear or an eye out for Kagome.
"Hey I need you to talk to Shippou today. Just ask him what's changed about the shrine plan." Inuyasha said to the young man. He just nodded and opened his mouth to speak but Inuyasha just shook his head and gestured towards Kagome's door. His ears could pick up the movements she was making around her room.
Instead of speaking to Souta he sat on the bed and watched TV with him. They were watching the anime for a while before Kagome reappeared. Inuyasha had already thought Kagome looked nice in her uniform but that changed; she looked even better out of it. Her ensemble was just as different as his with a stripped yellow and lime green dress over dark blue jeans; her hair half clipped up and half flowing free.
"Are you ready?" she asked not noticing the look the hanyou was giving her. Inuyasha just dumbly nodded while Souta got up to put on his backpack.
"Wait. Where are you going?" she asked Souta putting her hand up to stop him.
"We're going the same way."
She shook her head. "No me and Inuyasha are eating. You are going to school."
"You have to get on the B train with me to get out to the city where are the restaurants are anyway." He retorted. That was enough to shut up Kagome; she never was good with remembering what trains led to where.
**
Shippou contained his surprise at seeing Inuyasha with Souta and Kagome. Souta's sister didn't really know anything yet and who was he to break a secret. She was actually really nice. She let him come over anytime he wanted and she always had something for them to eat whenever he was there.
It didn't hurt that she was also cute and funny. He almost felt guilty sometimes going through her stuff. It didn't matter though it wasn't like she had anything interesting there. It was odd though for Inuyasha to be there with them.
Everyone knew that fluffy had stolen the Shikon Jewel and that Kagome was almost a line to getting it back, but Shippou didn't think it meant the hanyou was actually going to spending time with the girl. I know Kikyo doesn't know about this.
Souta waved to them as he stepped out of the train. Kagome waved at both of them and had a cherry smile unaware of the eye that Inuyasha was giving him behind her back. Shippou waved back as the train departed from the station.
School was half a mile away from the station so the boys started a brisk walk towards school.
**
The train was pulling away from the station and Shippou and Souta were becoming small figures in the distance. Kagome still didn't know anything, which was something Inuyasha wanted to keep for the moment; he had decided he would tell her about the jewel though. Figuring it would be easier to get from his brother with an insider.
"What do you want to eat?" he asked as she looked at the scenery. The sun creating a perfect profile of her, she turned and looked thoughtful for a moment.
"Oden." was her only answer. She had a very hungry look in her eye with the one word. She hadn't eaten yet he could tell by the tiny grumbling sounds in her stomach plus her breath didn't smell like any type of food.
"Kind of early for oden don't you think?"
With a shake of her head she simply said; "It's never too early for oden."
Inuyasha just shrugged as he glanced at the train map posted on the wall beside them. "Fine we can go to Koko Hishiromo. We have to get off at the next stop though."
**
"What was Inuyasha doing with you two?" asked Shippou as they left the crowded station building. The sun wasn't up enough to cause any heat but Shippou could still tell that later today would be a scorcher.
"They are going out for breakfast." Souta couldn't hide his delight. He really liked Inuyasha and he knew Kagome liked him; he had seen her diary. He wouldn't show Inuyasha but if the hanyou accidentally came upon it one time, he wouldn't stop him.
Souta had meet Kikyo. She was …okay. She wasn't nice but then she wasn't mean wither; just quiet. She never spoke to him except for when he was introduced to everyone and whispered Hello and she was on her way. But then Shippou had told him she was just like that, she hadn't really spoken to him for nearly 2 weeks and even now after so many years she barely said a word to him. It was like they were below her radar. Shippou said it was best though because knowing Kikyo meant knowing a very intense person.
"Hmm…" was all Shippou could say to Souta's answer. He found it kind of odd for Inuyasha to be doing that.
"What? Is that a problem?" Souta's voice wasn't panicked just slightly worried. He did trust Inuyasha with his sister, but then not completely he was in a gang after all. The boys crossed the street dodging cars and pushing past people.
The kit shook his head, he didn't want to worry his friend; "No it's just I don't know kind of weird. Because …well…Inuyasha doesn't really spend time with a lot of girls." He didn't want to add `because Kikyo might loose it and try to kill them' no reason to give the human a reason to tell his sister.
"Really? Then why is he spending time with Kagome?"
Shippou shrugged "Just to get on her good side probably. You know Inuyasha still needs the shikon back."
"I do know. But is it okay?" he asked.
"Yea. Don't worry." Shippou wasn't that concerned really. Kikyo wouldn't find out hopefully. He would hate to see anything bad happen to Inuyasha or Kagome. Shippou shook off his worry; it's not like he likes her.
"Inuyasha wanted me to ask you what's changed about the plan." Souta said changing the subject.
***
Kagome had never heard of Koko Hishiromo.
That was obvious when she caught sight of the prices on the menu. Her eyes were wide as she said in disbelief; "I can't believe you brought me here." She slapped the menu with her hand lightly. "Do you not see the prices of these dishes?" If she had known things would be this pricey she would have suggested Wacdonald's.
With a smirk Inuyasha said arrogantly; "If I'm gonna eat oden this early I wanna eat the best." She just shook her head again as she stared again at the menu.
Koko Hishiromo was one of the best oden places in Tokyo and being the best meant being one of the most expensive. The place screamed fabulous the moment a person walked in. Walls were drenched in rich reds and vibrant golds, while the cherry wood chairs were craved in intricate designs of dragons. One wall had a mural of geisha girls and mountains and the place had numerous painted pots featuring pandas and bamboo sticks.
At first Kagome hadn't wanted to go in, saying she wasn't dressed properly but after Inuyasha pointed to his own attire she hesitatingly agreed. They didn't get that many strange stares from the customers as they were seated at a booth …away from everyone. After checking with him and the menu repeatedly, she had grudgingly ordered, what she thought was overpriced, a dish featuring oden and fish. And even though she thanked him for the meal, she grumbled about the cost and told him never to take her there again.
But she shut up about it as soon as she tasted her meal.
Inuyasha had never seen anyone take such pleasure in food before. She acted as if every taste was her last and the best she would ever had or ever tasted. She nearly gobbled down the noodles and barely paused before attacking her fish. Inuyasha couldn't help but laugh at her behavior, he never thought someone so small could eat so much.
She had paused to breath and drink some of her water before asking him; "So what did you want to talk about?"
Before while on the train and even in the restaurant, Inuyasha hadn't really brought up the reason for his visit. He didn't want to, he liked talking to her; she was so nice and different from other people. Her lighted up when something interested her and her laugh was genuine; even though it wasn't the best laugh he knew but it was real.
Her asking that question only made him remember the real reason why he wanted to talk to her.
-Inuyasha I don't know why you're so…hesitant about dealing with that girl.
I'm not I just don't think we have to kill every one who you think is a threat.
-But she really is a threat. Your burns have just barely healed.
It's not like she killed me. She didn't even do it on purpose.
-But she could have and besides how do you know she didn't do it purpose.
Because she could have hurt me more and she didn't.
-If this were anyone else they would be dead by now. Why do you care so much?
Kikyo's lecture and questioning had gotten to him. He didn't like keeping secrets from her but she was the biggest secret he had ever had, sitting across from him chomping on noodles. He didn't want to tell her that her she was in mortal danger but hen didn't want to tell her everything was fine.
"You should stop hanging with the Demons." He said his mouth full of rice. He watched her eyes to gage her reaction to his statement. Surprisingly she didn't go off the deep end and hit him or yell but instead calmly put her chopsticks down.
"Why?" Her eyes were looking at him again suspiciously. Why is she always suspicious of me? He had to admit that he hadn't really done all that much to gain her trust, except save her life.
"Because its dangerous." Again his voice couldn't hide how ridiculous he thought her question was.
"No I mean why now? You didn't seem all that concerned for my safety the last time I saw you." He could hear a small lit of anger in the back of her voice, like she couldn't believe he was asking her to do this. She was staring at him waiting for an answer.
He didn't have a real answer. He really didn't want to tell her about Kikyo. She would probably freak or tell him he was over reacting to nothing. She had never really met Kikyo and so she wouldn't understand how serious his girlfriend could be.
"I'm trying to help you and you're getting mad at me." He said instead of answering her question. "Ya know I could just not say anything and let you hurt yourself and then what? I would just laugh at your injured ass and tell you I was right." Inuyasha knew he would never do that but she didn't need to know that.
She frowned at his words. "I can take care of myself. I'm training now my powers need it."
"You're powers won't save you from everything. There are things that won't be stopped by blasts of energy." He retorted back. He stuffed another ball of rice in his mouth. He didn't want to look at her right now so he was staring at his food instead. The colorful meat a mix of red and brown spotted with white rice that had fallen from his chopsticks. All of a sudden he didn't want to be there and all he wanted to do was call for the check.
She was quiet for a while before asking again; "Why do you care?" Her voice wasn't tinged in anger but calmness.
"Because I don't like seeing little girls die." He hadn't meant to say it but it had come out. She wasn't a little girl but it didn't matter she was still young and nice; she was too naive; she didn't belong.
"I'm not a little girl…Nothing will happen to me." Her voice was low but he could still hear it, the hurt.
Inuyasha suddenly looked up at her big brown eyes. He had to make her see; "Do you know why Sesshoumaru wants you?" he knew his voice was thick with annoyance. He wasn't annoyed at her more at the situation; the fact they were in it.
She was silent for a moment and Inuyasha opened his mouth to answer the same time she did. "Kikyo."
"He wants to cancel Kikyo out. He needs a miko to do that. That's why he took Ayame, he thought she would be enough but then you came…" She was nodding at his words and stopped explaining knowing she knew the rest.
Needless to say the rest of the meal wasn't a memorable experience. She was sucked into her own thoughts and barely spoke a word to him; maybe she finally understands that she may die.
She was still silent on the train trip home and it was starting to kill Inuyasha. She was never this silent at least the times when he had seen her. She would always have something to say. They were sitting across from each other on the metro home. The ride was bumpy and silent even though they were many people around. He was ignoring them though zeroing in on the quiet girl.
He nudged her shin with his shoe and she looked up at him almost surprised to see him; "Hey if you're going to be like this at one little piece of news then maybe you should leave."
"Huh?" The confusion sprawled across her features.
"You can't just get all depressed every time you think someone wants to kill you." He acted as if it wasn't a big deal and almost a joke. Like instead of it being life and death, she had just forgotten her homework at home.
"But you said -" she began before getting cut off.
"Yea you are in danger but then so am I. But you shouldn't let everything push you down. You aren't dead yet." The ringing of the bell signaling a stop and the intercom broke his speech. He got up and motioned for her to follow him.
She got up but stopped looking at the station she said; "This isn't my stop."
Inuyasha just shook his head and pulled her with him off the train. If he had his directions right they would still be on the North side of Tokyo which meant they were probably not that far from Urawa if they switched to the A train now they could get there by noon.
"Inuyasha where are we going?" Kagome shouted over the bustle of the station. She pulled her arm away from him and stood still waiting for an answer.
"We're going to Urawa." He simply said like she should have known that. They were halfway between the train `A' and train `F' and the first would be coming soon and he didn't want to miss it and have to wait longer for another chance. Plus standing there in the middle of the station was not helping them talk since people were pushing past them.
He grabbed her arm again and started pulling her towards the train. "But what's in Urawa?" she asked. She was walking with him but not nearly as fast as he wanted. He paid for their tickets and pulled her along; even with all the noise from the people he could hear the train wheels squeaking along.
Kagome had a very confused face on as she went with him on to the platform to wait. "I have to go to school Inuyasha. Hojo and Yura always come get me after school or sometimes even before school is even over." she was nervous, he didn't blame her though she would be in trouble if they knew she was with him.
He just shrugged at her comment. She continued bumbling along the way, trying to find an excuse; "I thought you said I had to take a shower before I go to school. I won't have enough time to do that."
"Kagome it's only 11. We'll have enough time if we go now. I only want to go for a while. You'll have enough time. If not I can always call Miro-" I can't call Miroku I didn't tell him where I was. His friend didn't know where or who he was with and that would be problem if he didn't explain it to him correctly. "Don't worry you won't be that late."
She crossed her arms and huffed, "Fine." She turned to look at the train as it pulled into the station and turned back to look at him; "What's in Urawa anyway?"
He knocked on her head like she wasn't paying attention and said, "Kagome don't be dumb. What time of year is it?"
She was thoughtful for a moment before her eyes popped open and her mouth went into an `O' with a gasp she jumped up and down and said in excitement, "You're kidding me Inuyasha."

The blubber was everywhere as the men spared and wrestled one another. The crowd had its own pulse as they cheered every slam their favorite sumo wrestler made on the opponent. The seats were nearly packed and the sound defining as Shizuko Shigure slammed down the all- time champ Jekku blah.
At first Kagome wouldn't believe that he had seats to the National Sumo Championship. He didn't blame her for not believing him since tickets were so hard to come by. He only had them because the owner of the stadium had a son who couldn't help but gamble everything he had.
Inuyasha looked over at Kagome. Her smile was shining and her eyes were bright with every move from her favorite wrestler Shizuko. Kikyo liked sumo wrestling just not this much, she was never this into it. Soon things were fading and the sound of the spectators wasn't so loud in his ears. All he saw was Kagome. Her hair moved with her movements and her arms were raised in the air in excitement. He could see the happiness in her eyes, something that hadn't been very visible through the course of the day. Another slam by Shizuko elicited a cheer from her pretty mouth and jump out of her seat.
It hit him then just how much he did like her; just how much he did want her.
GODAMMIT!

But for now I'll look so longingly
Waiting for you to want me
For you to need me
For you to notice me

a/n: okie I'm done with this one I hope it didn't take so long. But if you think it did this chapter is the longest chapter I've ever written so it makes up for it. I hope you liked it. I'm trying to make the story sound like its based in japan then in America. also if you're wondering about the fashion they are wearing …well not everyone in japan dresses `normal' (in the American sense). I choose to have them dress different- who said Inuyasha had to dress all suave?
I'm thinking maybe 2 or 3 more months and this story wil be done which is why I'm putting all my other stories on hiatus. I wanna finish something already!!
http://www.geocities.com/youkai_hime/fanworks/fanart.html< / u> also look at some of these pics. The one with Inuyasha and Kagome in real life nonanime form is great.
