Summary: Sesshomaru loses his love one by Naraku's hands and now tries to live without her. He then decides that he'll never fall in love with someone else but fate has different plans for him.This is Rin /Sesshomaru pairing and is in the modern era if you don't like this kind of pairing don't read it.

My name is Sesshomaru Takanashi. I lived through more pain then anyone else, would you blame me for being a cold-hearted bastard or not? It doesn't matter to me because no matter what you think its nothing but shit. My love one perished by the hands of person I hate with all my life it doesn't matter because my heart has become cold as ice but that was until I met that someone that made my world go upside down. Now to begin this story:

To live once again____

Sesshomaru leaned on the old cherry blossom tree nothing else to do. School bored him to death his brother was with his girlfriend and friends at the mall. Everything bored him since she died long ago his girlfriend, Himoria Tamoura. She was the only light that made his life worth something but now it was darkness and hell for him. She had beautiful long black hair it reached down her back that shined in sunlight. Her skin was light tan; and she had warm chocolaty eyes but nothing was left of her but ashes that lay peacefully in her grave.

The same person who injured Inuyasha's mother that also took care of him murdered Himoria. Iyzaoi was kind but sadly the hands of Naraku injured her but she was lucky to survive. The half-breed killed Himoria instantly while trying to protect Inuyasha and him since Naraku poisoned Sesshomaru with his miasma. His father was gone out of business and when Narakou killed her he left, laughing at their weakness and that he accomplished his goal.

“Lord Sesshomaru your father wants to speak with you! He say said it's important and to be at his office right away “said the bird youkai that was in maid's suit and also making the Taiyoukia came out of his thoughts.

Sesshomaru got up and before a blink of an eye disappeared leaving a stunned bird youkai behind him. He opened the ivory doors to see his father reading a few documents of the Takanashi Corp.

“I see you've been lazy at school Sesshomaru. You haven't been your self since Himoria died it's time for you to move on or do plan on mourning on dead person forever” said Inutashio and heard growl from his son.

“You have no reason to get into my personal life so stay out of it “answered Sesshomaru sternly. Then saw his father glare daggers at him and he too glared back.

“ I see you still haven't changed but I won't tell you again Sesshomaru you can't mourn a dead person forever you have to let them rest in peace or you'll never get to live how your supposed too!” said Inutashio then started to read the document and heard his son leave.

Sigh `He'll never understand to live if continues to mourn her' he thought sadly and threw the papers he was reading on his desk then left to the kitchen to get himself some steak before someone else ate it.

(Sesshomaru room)

Sesshomaru slammed the door and threw some papers that were on the desk to the ground frustrated of his life. Then he saw the picture of Himoria and him at the lake that was two years ago he growled angrily and picked the picture up, next he threw it in the drawer by his bed. Again he gave his heart away to get it broken once again but now he won't make the same mistake.

“Good-bye Himoria “he whispered sadly and got all the possessions and pictures of Himoria and him together to pack them up. He silently walked up to the attic and placed the box with the other stuff that was left behind. While going downstairs he heard his brother with his girlfriend Kagome laughing with his father and stepmother at stuff.

He walked to his room everything was dark and saw the stars shining brightly with the crescent moon outside the window. Then heard his father and Iyzaoi say goodbye and left the two love birds alone.

“I hope you have better luck with your love life Inuyasha then mine” Sesshomaru muttered with frustration in his voice that seeing his brother having better life then him. Then he went to bed not knowing something special was in store for him, the next day by fate.
