Kagome stared forward her face stoic. "Miroku.."

"Yes dear?"

"Just wondering, would you remover your hand from my butt you BAKA!" She screamed as for the fifth time that week her hand hit his head.

She stood up and walked to the other side of the campfire whgile Mireoku lay on the ground his face something like this @__@.

`Well at least he is back to his old self again.' She thought, now she just had to convince herself that it was a good thing.

Kagome sighed into her ramen, old memories welling up. `He loved ramen' she thought sadley as she looked up at the trees.

After Miroku and her's encounter at the river Kaede said it would be a good idea if they both went out.

"Kagome, you look tired." Kaede said with concern.

`Yes well, I have to work a lot to get this village secure. Now that Inuyasda and Sango are gone youkai will surely come to attack."

"We can survive," Kaede said with a smile. "But you can not! I think it is in your best intrest, that is… I think you and Miroku should go on… … What did you call it?"

"A vacation?" Kagome daid with a smile.

"Yes, go back to your time, you have the jewel.."

`Allright, thank you Kaede-chan!"

The old priestess just nodded and smiled……..

"Kagome? Will you.." Miroku began.

"Hentai! YOUr air rip is gone you don't need to be asking me that and if you do ask anyone in MY time to bare your child well I am gonna…."

While she was busy naming off all the things she would do to him he could not help but notice how beautiful she was. And those eyes… Somewhere in his mind he was aware of a feeling that was pulling at his heart.

"And so help me you will wish that I had let those fish eat you… Uhh Miroku?" Kagome had stopped her idal threats and had looked over to see if this was affecting him only to find him sitting right nt=ext to her.

Kagome blushed and brought her hand across his face again..

"Owowowow! Hey Kagome what was that for?"

"For any future hentai thoughts I know damn well that you will have." She laughed at his mock hurt expressiin.

But that expression qickly died away and was replaced by a gleem og mischief. "So.." he began, "That means I ow you something in return.."

"What!" She gasped as her lips were quickly caught in a gentle kiss. `Miroku," she breathed as he broke the kiss.

"Good night kagome." He said before turning over to sleep. Leaving a very confused Kagome to sit up all nigh.
